Chapter 5

Ziggurat, throne room.

In a long rectangular table made of quarts, 13 people were currently sitting, they are all staring at the man at the front of the table sitting on a throne.

Asahi Kaijin, the patriarch of Kaijin clan and the person who invited these 13 people. Asahi is a handsome young man with dark brown hair, hazel eyes, tanned skin and a lean and toned physique.

He was wearing a white Turkish salvar, with his upper body left naked. He was also wearing some golden accessories such as golden bracelets, golden necklace, and a golden cross earrings.

"So you didn't call us here just to see our faces right? What do you want?" Said a beautiful woman with dark skin and long purple hair, wearing a black sleeveless fullbody suit with orange sash.

She is Yoruichi Shihouin, the eldest daughter of the patriarch of Shihouin clan. A clan that migrated from the Land of Lightning.

She is one of the three Kage-level shinobi of their clan.

"I'm sure that Asahi-sama isn't so bored to call us here just for a meeting, right?" Said a tall and muscular man with slick back orange hair with black cloak.

He is Gildarts Clive, a Kage-level shinobi and leader of a band of rogue shinobis that would accept any mission for money. He also possessed a powerful bloodline limit called "Crush Release", that allows him to break that with which they came in contact.

He and Asahi cooperated many times in the past, and Gildarts would sometimes bring some of his underling to drink in Kaijin Town considering they are the number one supplier of alcohol in Land of Wind and are much cheaper compared to the imported one sold by others.

"Well," Asahi spoke, his eyes wandered at the group of people in front of him, "Out of 23 forces I invited, only 13 of you bothered to show up, so I would like to thank all of you first for agreeing to my invitation."

As he said that, he couldn't help but take a peek at some familiar faces in front of him.

Yoruichi from the anime Bleach, Gildarts from Fairy Tail, there is also—

"I don't need thanks, but do you have some food here?" Said a dark skinned woman with ash-gray hair, rippling muscles with scars all over her body. She was wearing bra that covers only parts of her nipples, with a leather jacket and black pants.

She also has pair of wolf-like ears and tail with matching color as her hair. She also wears an eyepatch.

She is Ghislaine Dedoldia, also a Kage-level shinobi. As a young child, she was abandoned by her parents due to her beast-like features but was soon adopted by a pack of desert wolves when she wandered in their territory.

The desert wolves are strong beasts that could even fight against a shinobi. Even without a support of a powerful force behind her, the wolves themselves are powerful enough to threaten some first class clans.

"They will be serve shortly," Asahi replied to her, "In the meantime, let's get down to business."

The others immediately focused on him.

"I have receive information that the Uchiha and Senju are about to form an alliance."

Those alarmed everyone in the present. One should know that the Uchiha alone has at least a dozen Kage-level shinobi, adding the Senju who also has the same amount, the two clans had enough power to conquer the world, unless they unite and stop them.

"Not only that, according to our sources, they are planning to establish a village and invited all the clans in Land of Fire to join them."

There was silence as Asahi's words slowly sink in.

If Uchiha and Senju uniting is disastrous, then the whole clans in Land of Fire uniting as one can only be describe as apocalyptic.

They couldn't help but shudder just imagining the horror that is a unified Land of Fire.

At this moment, someone raised their hand.

Asahi raised a brow - another "acquaintance", - "Yes? Do you have any questions?"

"Hm, is this news accurate?" Asked an olive skinned woman with blonde hair kept in messy with three braided locks, she has a pair of blue eyes, wearing a revealing white clothing with a collar covering her lower face.

She is Tier Harribel, the matriarch of Harribel clan. A clan that lives near the sea similar to the Kaijin.

Yes, the others nodded, if this is just a rumor there is no need to be as nervous or terrified.

"It is accurate." Asahi nodded.

That shattered everyone's hopes. It has been confirmed, how can they guarantee their safety in front of those two behemoths?

"The reason why Asahi-sama called us here, is it because you have a plan to allow us to resit those two clans?" Asked Reto, the leader of Kazufune group.

"Yes," Asahi nodded, "If the Land of Fire wanted to unite, then we shall unite as well. I called all of you here to invite you to form a powerful federation that could compete with the alliance of Uchiha and Senju, both economically and militarily. In this way, we can maintain a power balance."

"..."

Asahi remained silent. He knew that these people would find it hard to accept considering some of them have life and death hatred with one another, but he knew that they will agree. That's just how much pressure the Uchiha and Senju can bring if they unite.

"You need to understand, those two clans combined could contend with all of you 19 here despite having only around 20 or 30 Kage shinobi. Sharinggan is very dangerous, and a Senju's almost immortal like regeneration..."

There is a reason why Uchiha and Senju are known as thr strongest clan. Not only do they have the highest amount of Kage-level ninjas, but also because of their bloodlines that allows them to easily defeat opponents equal or stronger than them.

Not to mention the Senju also gave birth to a monster like Hashirama Senju who was known as the God of Shinobi, and Madara Uchiha who was known as The Ashura.

"However," an old man with long white beard and bald head spoke, "Even if we did agree to this, there is no guarantee that we can resist those two monsters, Madara and Hashirama."

This old man is Genryusai Yamamoto, head of the Yamamoto clan.

The others nodded. Those two people can no longer be classified as Kage-level, each time they fought they'd completely change the terrain. They are so strong that even an entire clan with several Kage are afraid to confront just one of them.

And even though they consider Asahi as the strongest Kage, they didn't put him on the same level as those two.

Asahi smiled and stood, causing everyone in the room to tense. He ignored them and just said, "I understand your concerns. So why don't I show you something that will boost your confidence?"

And terrify you to the point where you'll have to join. Of course, Asahi didn't say that. Instead, he just motioned his guests to follow him.

The group stared at each other for awhile before deciding to follow after him.

It took a few minutes of traveling before they arrived at a desolate seashore where Asahi was seen standing on the shore, waiting for them.

"So what would you like to show us, Asahi-dono." Asked Zeno Zoldyck, the patriarch of Zoldyck clan and one of the clan's three Kage-level shinobi.

Zeno is an old man of medium height with grey-white hair that stands upon his head and has a Fu Manchu mustache. He also wears alternating signs on his garb that says, "A Kill A Day".

Asahi smiled at them before facing the sea. His consciousness trying to reach out to the 'gift' he received from his new friend.

A moment later, the others gaped in shock as a red chakra surrounds Asahi and blue tattoos started appearing on his body.

Then, he opened his palm, and a small pitch-black orb appeared and hovered on his palm. It was spinning rapidly that you can hear the wind being tear apart.

Zeno and the others widened their eyes as Asahi threw the orb miles away to the ocean, and a second later a large explosion occurred.

It was like a mini-sun just appeared. Even if it was miles away, they still felt the heat brushing them. The ground shook and the sea trembled, forming a large tsunami.

Asahi turned back to the thirteen, and base on their appearance, he had convinced them.
