Prologue

At the taxi loading area outside the airport, a woman is standing and is seemingly troubled with something. Taking off her sunglasses, she proceeds to search her backpack for her phone. When she finally found it, she scrolled to her contacts to search for a name.

"The number you dialled is currently unavailable---- ahhh fudge. " She immediately ended the call and proceeded to call another person. But unfortunately, it was just the same as before.

"Did they change their numbers? It's possible. It must be because of what I did before I left 5 years ago. "

So instead of waiting, she hailed a cab and told the driver an address.

She finally returned. The years of living alone abroad got her a lot of time to think about everything. Hopefully, she can correct some of her mistakes. Now that she's back to Eternal Haven [1], she has the chance to set things right.

She missed her family and friends. She missed her country and city and lastly, she missed her life here.

"Looks like there are some changes about to happen. " she said.

She smiled at what she said.

In a grand mansion elsewhere, a family of four are seated on a table and are peacefully having their breakfast. As usual, the Alcelona family are keeping themselves quiet while eating. No one seems to mind the silent atmosphere.

James Alcelona, the head of the family, carefully eats his food while occassionally checking his watch to check for the time. And his wife, Karen Alcelona helps him by serving the food that he likes.

Cecilia Alcelona, the eldest daughter of the couple, casually picks her breakfast and stares uninterestingly at noone and nowhere.

Different from Calvin Alcelona, her younger brother and the second child of the family, the man eats fast and seems to be in a hurry.

"Won't you slow down? There's no one chasing you. " Cecilia snapped and angrily stares at her younger brother.

"I have a meeting at 8:30 with an important investor for an important project. Unlike 'you', I can't afford to be late. " he sarcastically replied.

"Yeah, says the CEO of his company. " Cecilia rolled her eyes. "For a man with a high position, you can't even control your time. "

"I can, but I choose not to." after saying that, he got up and prepared to leave.

" Calvin, wait for your sister. She needs to get a ride to her office. " Karen said.

"Ma, I can't be bothered to drive for her. I'm in a hurry. "

Calvin said in a serious tone.

"The driver called in sick today. And you know, he's the only one I trust. " Cecilia reminded him.

Calvin paused then looked at her. Afterwards, he sighed and gave up. "Then, let's go. I don't have time to wait for you, miss. " then he left.

"H-Hey! Wait for me! " Cecilia grabbed her bag and immediately followed his brother, all while muttering curses to his back.

But as they neared at the entrance, they see a taxi stop at the front. A woman slowly gets off at the cab and stares at them. Her sunglasses is particularly eyecatching as it got hit by a ray of light.

"Hey... Long time no see. " the woman smiled, showing her perfect white teeth.

"C-Catherine?" Cecilia asked and rubs her eyes to confirm if she's imagining or not.

The woman nodded. "That's right. It's me." she said, shocking the both of them.
