2 Crusaders’ Arrival

Location: Earth. Time: approximately 10:00 am.

The Crusaders have set a destination for Earth and should be arriving shortly.

Suddenly, in an open field on Earth where no life is present, a rift made from pure plasma appears from the sky.

With the Crusaders exiting from the portal and landing safely on the ground, the portal closes up behind them, never to be seen again.

Now, this is the start of a wild journey.

"Whew, feels good to be on an actual living planet for once!" said Aaron, breathing in the cool breeze.

"This feels a little strange...this isn't the cold, dark abyss that is the void and space," said Austin, wandering around.

"It'll be fine, I'm sure of it! Andrew, whaddya think?" Aaron tapped Andrew's shoulder to get his attention.

He simply ignored, looking around the mesmerizing planet.

"Ahh...a blank canvas where I can cause mayhem and carna-"

Newton thrusts his staff onto Andrew's chest lightly, cutting him off.

"Not yet, Andrew. We've got to find a place to settle down first...only then will we even consider you breaking stuff!" said Newton, denying Andrew's statement.

Andrew pouts.

"Fine!" Andrew angrily said.

"Speaking of which, where are we going to stay?" Austin asked.

"I was thinking we could build a hut or maybe even a lab somewhere out in the forest as a makeshift place to stay," Aaron suggested.

The group thought to themselves.

"That sounds like a good idea, but how are we going to get the materials? It's not like we have a harvesting tool like a pickaxe." Austin said.

Newton looked at Austin with a strange look.

"...Pickaxes are not for harvesting trees…" Newton said.

"But a pickaxe is a harvesting tool, so at the very least I'm accurate!" Austin replied.

"Or we could blow up the whole forest," Andrew suggested, with just the slightest malicious grin.

"Mmm...nope," Aaron replied, shaking his head in disagreement.

"Why won't you let me have any fun around here!?" Andrew shouted.

"It's more or less for your safety. We don't want you to die the second you come here." Newton said.

"My plan? We forge some makeshift tools out of the local materials and use them to gather better materials, then we can make some better tools and construct our staying place!" Aaron explained.

"Very good and smart idea," Newton replies.

"But, it's not like we have an anvil or a furnace, and we can't just forge them by hand," Austin replied.

"Well, you were able to use plasma to forge that rift back home! Surely you must be able to make a tool of some sort!" said Aaron.

...Silence followed for a moment. And then…

"Hmm...wait...I've got it!" said Newton, snapping his finger.

"What is it, Newton?" said Aaron. "Do you have an idea?"

"Now that you mention that...how about we try to compress plasma and shape it into a tool like a pickaxe or an axe, and go from there?" Newton explained.

"Not a bad idea...let's try it," said Austin, pulling out his plasma pistol.

He then shot at his hand, but the plasma stopped dead in its tracks and began to levitate just before it was about to contact Austin's palm.

Aaron was surprised, but not everyone else. "Woah!" Aaron said.

"Surprised, huh? Well, don't be. You're gonna be seeing a lot of this." said Austin, morphing the plasma into an axe. "Don't try to touch it, either. Your hand will burn and come off."

"I should consider learning plasma, to cause even more destruction," Andrew said, with malicious intent.

"I don't mean to burst your bubble, Andrew, but...I don't think that's ever going to happen," said Aaron.

"Why can't anything good happen to me!?" Andrew shouted.

"Listen, you'll get your time eventually. But for now, we have to make a base to stay," said Newton.

"Enough blabber, let's get to work!" Aaron exclaimed.

Austin began chopping down trees with relative ease. Aaron went out to gather materials, while Andrew and Newton simply chatted together about life and similar topics while setting up a firing range just outside of the lab.

Fast forward a few minutes…

"Hey guys, I'm back with some materials! And I even found...this thing." Aaron came back, and set down the materials in nice stacks, with the strange thing being separate.

"I'm pretty sure that thing is...a radar. But, it's rusted to hell," said Austin.

"Yeah...it looks rusted. But hey, some vinegar and a rope brush would do the trick!" Newton said.

"...is that actually how you can remove rust?" said Aaron, scratching his head.

"Exactly. Believe me. I know these things, you know?" Newton replied, pointing to his head.

"Well, I trust you. But, where are we going to get vinegar?" said Andrew.

"Actually, there is a different way to remove rust. Using enough pressure from plasma to not break it, but just enough to remove it can indeed remove it." said Austin, plasma pistol in hand.

"Does that really work? Like, seriously," said Aaron.

"...Just trust me on this, okay?" said Austin, shooting into his hand with the plasma pistol.

He then morphed and compressed the plasma such that it can remove virtually anything off the surface of another. With some carefully maneuvering, Austin successfully managed to remove the rust.

Now, everyone was surprised at that.

"Woah!" Everyone except Austin said in amazement.

"Still surprised, huh? Even after I told you a few minutes ago that you were going to be seeing a lot of this? Come on, get a grip." said Austin, with a tad bit of annoyance in his voice.

The radar read "Interdimensional Radar", as if it was meant to be used to scope out things on a galactic level.

"Wait a minute...this isn't any normal radar…This is-" Newton said, before getting cut off.

"No shit it's unlike any other. It literally says "Interdimensional Radar." Can't you read?" said Austin.

"Hey, don't be mean!" said Aaron, pointing to Austin.

"Just trying to make a point here," Austin replied, picking up the radar.

Austin tried turning the radar on. No input. It had no power.

"This doesn't work, so...what now?" said Austin, knocking on the radar lightly.

"This isn't the first time this has happened. Let me have a shot." said Newton, snatching the radar from Austin's hand.

He then set the radar down on the ground and used his staff to call a lightning bolt and directed it at the radar. BOOM! The radar immediately powered on.

"There we go! That's what I like to see!" exclaimed Aaron.

"...Okay, now what?" said Newton, picking up the radar.

The radar read "NO TARGETS DETECTED." Perhaps it's out of range.

"We should go ahead and place that in the lab, which…" Aaron turned his gaze to the unfinished lab. "...is still not completed. But luckily, I got materials!"

"We should get back to building, the sun is starting to set," said Andrew, pointing to the sky.

"Sure," said Newton.

"Let's get to it!" said Aaron, holding the materials in his hand.

They all got to work on finishing the incomplete lab. Fast forward to the next day, and they finished the build.
