Conclusion

 "Understood," Carl nodded, breaking out a handkerchief to wipe his forehead, "-the day has been rough for all of us. I wish nothing more to come of this," he leaned into Menti's ears, "-please take this as a token of my appreciation."

Menti calmly accepted the note. The heavy carriage clopped across the street, the bodies were taken to the crematorium.

 "Are you okay?" Fenrir noticed Menti's expression, "-you seem a little down."

 "Guild master," she jumped, the carriage faded into the distance, and turned towards the guild hall, "-I have something we must talk about."

They headed to a private chamber without the other's notice. A click, and the empty room felt emptier, "-why the privacy?" Fenrir settled, Menti inhaled and dropped on the opposing seat, "-Guild master, did you know about the explosion plot?"

 "I had suspicions and now, I have confirmation. Vengy and Cruse, they're from the shadow kingdom aren't they?" 

 "What if they are?"
