1249 Afterword

What a journey this has been. I felt weird writing this chapter, the last chapter felt, you know, like I was losing a part of me. Writing a book for 3-4+years takes a big part in your life. It felt like losing a part of myself. I won't lie, I did feel like quitting, and for the last two volumes, I was burnt out. The long breaks I took didn't account too much, but hey, that's what happens sometimes. Those are my feelings, I don't imagine how it must have affected the readers, yes, you, the ones who've remained to the end. I'm happy, thank you – you believed in me, I started as a novice and levelled up to average, and this book has changed my mind on many things. It was a way to escape and I did let my real-world problems slip in here and there, though you won't notice them. Ah man, it's hard to say goodbye, Staxius Haggard is the best guy I'd ever hope to have created. The Wielder of Death Magic was a long journey that meant the world to me. Thank you everyone.
