"How much i love foggy, cool mornings," I thought to myself as i left the wannabe cottage me and my little sister lived in and started my way toward the castle. It was early, an hour or so before the sunrise, but just the time for my little adventure.

After a few moments of successful roaming through the dark forest I reached the brothel. There I kept the stolen servant uniform the king was so persistent for his staff to wear.

"Poor staff, having to wake up this early every morning," o thought, kind of happy of not actually being one of them.

Now, I know how this all may sound a bit confusing to you all, but that's just what my life is, a pure confusion.

However, maybe it would be wise of me to explain you a little bit about myself.

My name is Alexandra and I'm an orphan.

Ok, that's a bit depressing way to start an introduction, still it is because of this fact my life is the way it is.

So, my parents and I used to live a modest, but a happy life in our small house by the border of our kingdom. I remember my mothers being the most amazing women ever.

You can imagine how women weren't given much opportunities and chances to make the living in a man's world, therefore most families of our rang lived modestly also. But, for a family consisting only of women, life was even worse. Especially, when one of the women was pregnant. Therefore we had to bend some rules and adapt to survive. Thankfully, our bloodline was blessed with blood of the ladies of the night, or witches if you like.

Although we are whores, too. How did you think my mothers got pregnant? Besides, this was the only legal way for a woman to make some money on her own. And we had to warrant our incomes in some way.

As I said, mothers were amazing, real badass women. They taught me witchcraft, combat fighting and of course writing, reading and math at a very young age. Although, you can imagine to which one of those I was more invested into.

When I was four, Clarofine gave birth to my sister Ro. She was the cutest baby ever. Sweet round cheeks, chubby legs and arms and the cutest red curls on her head. We were all absolutely bewitched by her and as she grew, it became clear to us all how she is going to be special. Which is why my parents got very protective of her, keeping her away from public eyes as much as possible without robbing her of normal human experience. They also started reminding me how important it is to keep my sister safe. "She's been kissed by the goddesses," Dorothea said, "she is destined to do amazing things for witchkind."

Not that I needed any of this motivation. I love Ro unconditionally and I would happily give my life for her.

Anyway, back to my story, as Ro was obviously gifted for magic, I was better at physical fighting. Quite a little ninja, may I say.

As I grew older, mothers explained to me exactly what they do and how we get by so comfortably, considering. They were thieves and con artists, on occasion even assassins. And I respected them so much more for that.

Fucked up morals, I know. But when women are told their entire life that they are worthless and only meant to clean and breed children, this kind of thing is inspiring.

We were raised in the spirit of feminism and were proven how amazing women truly are. Mothers even took me with them from time to time, Ro however refused to cooperate in anything she found immoral. Besides, we were all kind of happy she stayed away from the danger.

We lived unique, but exhilarating and happy lives. And the thought of us bending laws and secretly annoying the rich and powerful forever was something that would always lighten up my day. Until everything got destroyed.

It was a week before Ro's twelfth birthday and in order of a proper celebration my mothers decided it was time for them to come in touch with some quick money.

Funny enough, there were rumours about king's gold being imported in the castle.

"If we do it," Dorothea said, "and i think we can, we would be set for life."

"It's risky, though. This much gold is surely going to be well protected." Clarofine pointed out.

"Yes, that's why we'll need a good plan." Dorothea insisted. "Imagine baby, we could afford a proper house, give our girls proper schooling and gave them a chance for becoming someone in society."

"I know. But is it worth the risk?" Clarofine said uncertainly. "Don't get me wrong, I have absolute faith it us."

"So, what's the problem?" Dorothea interrupted, excitedly.

"Well, for one, I'm pretty sure king has absolute faith in his guards, too." Clarofine sighed. "And we will be strongly outnumbered."

"Yes, but we have magical powers. Stupid guards have nothing against us." I said, making my presence known.

"First of all," they said simultaneously, their tone suddenly stricter, "never underestimate your opponent."

"Second of all, you are not going." Said Ro, surprising us all.

"It's not up to you." I pouted.

"No, it's up to us." Clarofine said calmly. Too calmly to expect anything good to follow. "And we won't allow you to come, it's too dangerous and you are not experienced enough."

Based on what you know by now, you can imagine how successful they were.

Me and Ro waited for them to come back, but they never did. They, of course, warned us about that and left us clear instructions. Those instructions led us to the half beaten down cottage, if you can call it that, in the Elino forest, just outside the castle grounds.

We fixed up the small house, we've been calling home for three years now, and waited for news to come.

When they did, nothing good was brought with them.

Ro and i had to make it on our own then, which was hard for a sixteen-year-old and a twelve-year-old to do. I have decided to do as my mothers did and joined the brother, the brothel where I now only work on certain occasions and where I keep hidden the means for steadier income-stealing.

It's not like I wanted to steal, well I did, but not from the king (who is, by the way, the only one worth stealing from in the area). However, I didn't have much choice as Ro insisted on joining the brothel herself. I just couldn't allow that. Not because I couldn't allow her to lose her 'virtue' or anything. I rather enjoyed being a whore, it was quite fun, but it's not for everyone. Definitely not for Ro.

When i first told her about my job, she was appalled, trying her best to get me out of there, but soon she realized why was it so important.

The job is quite tricky for a young girl, avoiding getting pregnant is rather difficult. Especially with these cocky rich court men who think wearing a penis glove is too underneath them. But they pay well, so we had to find some other solution. That's why I asked Ro to permanently sterilize me with her magic.

She was appalled with this idea, too. But i explained to her that i never was the one to be a mother, the role of a fun, crazy aunt suited me more. Besides, we couldn't afford a baby.

And, yeah. That's basically it.

So, right now I'm on my way from brothel to the castle, dressed as a male servant, which i can, thanks to my masculine facial features and tight bondage of my ta-tas, pull of quite well.

One may think that sneaking into a castle would be complicated, in truth it's the easiest thing ever. I'm surprised more people don't do it, although if i judge from the reputation the king and the prince hold, people are probably too scared to come near them. But what a progressive technique, using your personality to protect your kingdom. And from what i hear they also use it as a form of birth control.

You know, because they are terrible people? And no one wants to be with them?

Sorry, I just really wanted to make that joke. Honestly, the reason why there's no queen or a princess is probably just pure misogyny and sexism... the laws against women they've created.... If i ever see any of these men, i'm spitting in their faces, fuck the death sentence.

The castle was just like the royal pair. Cold and cruel. It built plainly, made completely out of stone. It is high and threatening, making me shiver as I neared it. There are barely any windows in the walls and even those few are guarded with iron grates. Despite its cruelness, the castle was majestic.

I entered through the servant entrance on the back of the castle, hidden from the town's view and started my way through it.

"Although i have to give it to his majesty, he is quite a smart man." I thought as i entered the kitchen after passing the great hall, where a bunch of too big portraits of self-conscious men were hung.

I nodded at the chef in the kitchen and smiled to some other servants on the halls to fit in. Just for the fun of it, i sometimes even brought the dinner to the gentlemen staying in the castle. And that turned out to be the best idea ever.

Once, I brought them breakfast just as they were discussing the arrogance of our not-so-apparentlynotjustbyme-beloved king.

This was a bout a year ago, when I first started sneaking into the castle. The gentlemen were discussing potential stupidity of the king, as he discussed his vault so publicly and made its location quite obvious. The vault is said to be the biggest and hardest to break into and our King Rikkard very publicly announced that the vault is in his possession and that it's safely hidden in his personal chambers.

I, for one, didn't fall for that. Our king is many things, stupid, sadly, is not one of them.

I located the actual vault, by pure coincidence. I wish I could thank my intelligence for that, but sadly not. Transporting (aka stealing) the money, unnoticeably for that matter, however, is something only my cunning mind is responsible for. Not to sound conceited or anything.

Hiding the vault in the wall behind some random landscape picture in some random servant room turned out to be quite a good idea. No one had a clue it was actually here, not even the servant sleeping inside.

As i reached the room in the servants' quarters, i quickly and as insuspiciously as possible glanced around to see if anyone was around. Thankfully, the king didn't tolerate tardiness and the boring halls were very, very empty. I knocked on the door, just in case, and entered after a second or two.

Empty.

Good.

I closed the door behind me and looked around. The room looked sad. One small bed with boring white sheets, a small brown closet in the corner, small writing desk near the window, a very suspicious looking chair behind it and the infamous painting on the wall.

I quickly removed it and picked the lock of the vault.

Unlike the decoy vault, this one was rather pathetic and easy to break into. It was just a big iron box with a lock like no other.

I sometimes wondered how they transport such amounts of money in here and go unnoticed by the staff. Passageways, probably, my brain thought.

Weirdly enough, this was answered for me.

All it took was a screak of the old door as they opened.

My fighting senses kicked in and i turned around just in time to avoid a blow on my head.

My heart started pumping and my head got high on the adrenaline, god had it been long.

Is it weird to say i missed action? As in death-threatening action?

All I acknowledged was a tall dark-haired figure that sprung towards me growling, i backed away slightly and brought my knee up to strike the figure in its guts.

It groaned.

I ran towards the door, taking advantage of the extra seconds i just bought and trying to run away as i tripped on the shitload of moneybags.

The last thing i remember is a pair of grey, emotionless eyes staring at me and the word 'fuck' slipping my lips.
