1 Rebecca Wolfe

The middle of June, last week of school in the small town of Oztown, Kansas. The small town has a population of 2500. The place had a small farming town with a few modern adjustments of gas stations and restaurants. And one complex building called; the Emerald Complex, a few story building, tallest of Oztown outside of the water tower.

The small towns have no such excitement and only have people passed down. There's a river and a yellow brick bridge that's deep enough for depressing reasons.

9:30 PM.

In the Emerald Complex is where a young teen girl, age 16, is preparing to go out. Hazel coloured eyes. Short blonde but raven hair. Lean toned body. C-cup size. Rebecca "Becky" Wolfe.

As she's preparing to leave, she makes her bed on the couch.

On the kitchen table, there's a sheet of paper that said; Magical Girl Academia application paper with only; name: Rebecca Lana Wolfe; Height: 5'9"; Sexual orientation: pansexual; Bust size: C; Hometown: Oztown, Kansas, United States of America. The only thing that hasn't been filled out was weight, and the backstory.

She received a text that reads; they're on the move.

Becky grinned as she leapt through the fire escape stairs of the Emerald Complex. She grabs her Magical Girl Locket of a Fairy Tale Book with LRH initials. Leaps out then a glowing light flash.

§

The POV of a security camera of an ATM. Seeing nothing but black and white till a long shot paint gun hit it a couple of times, completely covering it up.

A trio of shady people are walking around the streets. Wearing black overall attires with face cover masks. Two white men, one black female.

"Are you sure this ATM hasn't been used?" One of them asked.

"I'm sure." He keeps looking out. "I saw that this one hasn't been used for months that much. So it must have some cash in there, ready to be taken."

One of them got off the phone. "Alright, alright!" He patted them all on the back. "One of our boys is causing a break in at a school. Just to get the alarm going and give us at least ten minutes."

"Alright!" The first one starts breaking open the ATM in order to steal whatever cash remains.

"How much do you think there should be?" The third asked.

"At least a couple thousands. One thousand each?" She replied.

"I can live with that." He patted her on the back.

A silhouette of a wolf had revealed from the background, under the moonlight with red piercing eyes looking down at them. The red eyed wolf is wearing a hood.

"You think we can break into one more?" The second asked them.

"Let's not be too greedy, right now. Just get what we can from this one alone. And if this works out, we can start planning out on what to do when we get to Kansas City. It may be small, but this is start-up money for our new lives. And help my brother out, let him see the brighter side of life." The first answer.

The third looks back and sees the wolf with red eyes on the top of a building, but ignores it.

After counting the money, he turned back to see that it's across the street, hiding in a dark alley with their eyes glowing towards them. This causes him to be afraid but slowly grabs a lead pipe nearby.

"Dude, what are you doing?" The second asks him when he grabs the pipe, looking concerned. "Bro, are you alright? You seem to be on edge for some reason." He said to the third.

"No, that's not it." Third reply. "I think it might be..."

"Hey, Charlie. Hey, Jacob. Hey, Wilhelm." Becky smiled down above them all with a greeting.

Becky's Magical Girl look is that she has wolf features of arms, legs, ears, tail and even her senses have elevated. Her short hair is all long and wild looking. Dogtooth turned into fangs. Torn up jeans. Dress shirt with waistcoat. Torn up hoodie with ear holes for the wolf's ears.

All three look up then sign out of relief.

"Crap!" The second, Jacob.

"It's Becky!" The first, Charlie.

"Can you leave us alone for one damn night? Please!" The third, Wilhelm.

Felt irritated. "My identity is meant to be a secret!"

"Becky, we only need money to go out to a city and just find a place to stay for a couple of days." Charlie said to them.

"Tomorrow is the last day of school, and I got an interview during the weekend. So can you please look away from this one small petty crime?" Jacob asked.

"Besides, if this is a way of trying to get into the Magical Girl Academia, then petty crimes like this aren't gonna apply to your appeal." Wilhelm added.

"Sorry, guys. But I got all summer to impress the Magical Girl Global Association. So I need to rack up the records." Becky is trying to appeal with them.

"There's no reasoning with you, isn't there?" Charlie asked.

"Sorry. But I gotta bring you in." Becky leaps down, and in a fighting position.

"Sorry, Becky." Jacob runs up with a punch.

Becky back-steps each punch, then she rolls around Jacob to land a spinning roundhouse kick onto Charlie, knocking her out.

Her foot stomps and keeps Wilhelm down then grabs Jacob by the throat. She slides Wilhelm under Jacob in order to slam him onto Wilhelm.

Both of them rolled then decided to make a break for it in separate directions.

Becky looks back. "Guess I can tie you up." She does so by ripping her hoodie that magically repairs itself. "No hard feelings, Kingston." Tying Charlie up under a light pole. "How's your Jackie?"

Charlie is looking at her but makes small talk due to being familiar with one another. "He's alright. Still struggling though. I was hoping to take him to the Pride party in Kansas City."

"Hope he comes out. He seemed to be fighting it, but best of luck for him." Becky pets Charlie. "Time to get Grime Brothers. I'll take it easy on Jacob, but can't promise about Wilhelm though." She starts running like a wolf on a hunt.

§

Jacob is running through the alleyway while Wilhelm is making a break towards the Emerald Complex.

Wilhelm happily talks to himself. "Alright, just need to tell..."

Becky landed in front of him, scaring him. "Tell on who?"

He trips backwards then back crawls as Becky is walking up to him, wolf-like with her eyes glowing.

Wilhelm stutters.

"Are you gonna tell Pete? To tell Pete that I was beating you up?" Becky asked.

She gets up close as Wilhelm sees nothing but glowing eyes piercing down in his. He shakes his head.

Becky knocks him out with a punch. "Pete already has problems, so he doesn't need to handle mine."

She rips her hood in order to tie Wilhelm hands together then it magically pulls him back to the light pole next to Charlie.

§

Jacob managed to make it to his muscle car. Becky leaps onto the hood of it, making a dent.

"Damn it, Becky!" He complains. "Could you have landed in front of me, and not on the damn hood! My dad is gonna kill me." He got out to expect the damage.

"Sorry, sorry." She politely leaped off the car.

"Crap!" He leans down onto it with Becky awkwardly trying to pat his back but doesn't know how to handle it. She slowly rip her hood then softly tied up his hands back.

"Sorry, Jacob. I'll pay for it, somehow." Becky is feeling guilt over the car.

Jacob flies back with the others.

Becky looks back then trying to undent it but made it worse by her foot claw popping a tire. She screamed by covering her mouth. "Shit! Shit! Shit! Pete is totally ain't gonna let this go!" She looked around in panic then grabbed a pen and pad then wrote an IOU note on the windshield with her name on it. Her signature is quite rough looking.

Two women walked by, but one of them walked up to Becky. The young looking woman is 5'6". Long brown hair. Slender figure. B-cup. Emerald eyes. While the older looking woman is 5'9". Short straight black hair. Piercing blue eyes. Both are wearing casual clothes of shirt, hoodie, jeans and slippers. The young girl is wearing overalls, and seems to be around the same age as Becky.

"Um, hello there." She spoke with a southern accent. "May I ask what you are doing?"

Embarrassed. "It's not what it looks like. I just owe these lovely people some money. That's all civilians." Becky is about to leap.

"And what's with the clothes? Seems odd. And what's with the animal hide, and how could you walk with those?" She's confused.

The older woman pulled the younger one back. "Sorry for my niece, questioning your actions and appearance. I'm sure you're a wonderful Magical Girl. It's that she rarely take anything seriously when it comes to Magical Girls, or fashion." She spoke with a high spirit attitude. "We'll be on our way."

Becky looks at them. "It's alright. Since she asked, I may answer. I am a Magical Girl, or in training at least. And as for my animalistic look, it's part of the uniform. And as I can walk with these feet, it's like walking with regular feet. So may I ask your name, civilian? Because you're new here, and you're looking at the next Pink Magical Girl: The Red Wolf."

"A wolf that's red? I guess that makes sense since they're usually covered in blood. All I'll say is that it's a unique look." The young girl said. "As for the name. Name's..."

Becky's ears are twitching. "Sorry, civilian. I got to see how the criminals are doing, but have a good evening!" Becky runs and leaps.

§

Back at the light pole, Becky walked up to the trio. "Look, I'm sorry that I ruined your plans but I need to impress the MGGA. Plus..." All three are scared to see Becky with sharp claws next to them. "And you're gonna say to the police that you were Witch influenced, that way you can save yourself with hard jail time."

"You could have said that without looking scary, Becky." Charlie said to her.

"I'm not scary looking, Charlie!" Becky barks at Charlie.

"Then what's stopping us from telling you that you're falsifying another Witch report? Like last time you accidentally hurt an old lady and told her that a Witch made her trip." Jacob asked.

"I paid the ticket for that! And I thought I could save face from it, but it backfired on me." Becky looked embarrassed. "I need this, far more than your job interview." All of them are annoyed by Becky.

"Hopefully one day, someone will humble you." Wilhelm said. "Plus what makes us think we'll just tell Officer Harwood that you basically just beat us down?"

"Nobody isn't gonna believe you. It's your words against mine, and I'm a Magical Girl, so..." Becky is about to leave after leaving a horrifying aura onto the trio. "I'll tell the principal tomorrow what happened here."

"I already told him that I was leaving for an interview tomorrow." Jacob shouted.

"Oh..." Becky felt embarrassed. "Then I'll just go stop that school break in. See ya!" Becky leaps away.

"I hate her, sometimes." Charlie said after she left.

§

After a few hours with the school break in being a bust. Around 2:00 AM. Becky managed to get back into her apartment. She started stretching. "Oh, hell yeah!" She seemed excited.

She deactivated her Magical Girl form into her normal look. Wearing a casual look of bed shorts, and a loose shirt. But the downside of her Locket that she had bought in the Black Market deal of the Magical Girl Global Association site, her fur not only regrow some unnecessary of armpit, arm and leg hair, and even her private area, but her fur not only shed like an animal but it leaves her sweat smell on them. Becky had to force the tail out by hand.

"Ouch!" Becky cried out. "No matter how many times I use this form, I can never get used to the pain of pulling it off." She looked at her tail then tossed it to the rest of the fur.

"Becky!" A boy shouted from the only bedroom outside of the washroom. He came out.

Peter "Pete" Wolfe. He's standing 6' tall. Black hair. Deep blue eyes. Not as toned as Becky, but not too fat. He has a skinny fat frame. And the older brother of Becky, age 19.

"What is it, Pete? Because tonight, I was racking up the wins!" She shadow boxed.

"Why did I get a call from Mr. Harwood that you had assaulted, vandalised a vehicle, and interfered with the police work of a school break in?" Pete looked annoyed at Becky.

"I was doing my work, and I wrote an IOU letter on the car." Becky defended herself. "And the school broke in, it was just a brick tossed into the school window. Nobody went in."

"We'll talk about it tomorrow. I got work, and you got school tomorrow." Pete walked back to his room. "And please clean up your mess. Don't want to clean up your fur, again." He collapsed down onto the bed while Becky rolled her eyes.

She went to the washroom and started taking care of the body hair, then went to bed.

After a five hour sleep, Pete had woken her up on the couch. Becky snores loudly as Pete seems annoyed by it.

"Becky." Pete foot shoves her, trying to wake her up. "Becky!" Continuous with the foot shove. Irritated. Peter grabs her fur from last night and places it next to her nose.

"What the hell?!" Becky shouted out as she woke up. Looking back at Pete. "What the hell did you use to make me up, this time?"

"The usual." Pete tossed her fur in the garbage. "Get dressed, the bus will be here in half an hour."

"Half an hour?!" Becky was shocked. "But I don't have enough time to take a shower!"

"You should had done that last night!" Pete shouted at her. "Then wash your hair in the sink, then put some deodorant and perfume on."

"What do you think I'm doing?!" Becky barks at him as she's washing her hair in the kitchen sink with her off brand shampoo.

Then she quickly brushes her teeth. Pete went to grab some deodorant and his body spray. Becky starts taking off her clothes in the kitchen as Pete looks away. Quickly putting on her clothes of; tank top shirt, open button-up shirt, jeans, socks, and sneakers. Grabbing her smartphone, and her Magical Girl Locket attached onto her belt.

She quickly rushed down the stairs as the bus arrived. Becky managed to make it into the bus. "Thanks, Rob."

She sat down next to a plumed girl. 5'2". Medium brown hair. Wearing a traditional Academy school uniform. Ashley "Ashley" Harwood.

"Hi, Ash." Becky loudly yawns.

"How was your job last night?" Ash asked as she looked out.

"Quite an adventure." Becky smiled.

Before the bus leaves, Pete walks in with a sheet of paper. "Becky, you forgot this." She walked up to him to grab it. "At least finished it today?" He requested.

"I will, Pete." Becky rolled her eyes as she walked back to Ashley while he left.

Sit back down.

"You haven't finished that yet?" Ashley questions her.

"I'm still working on the other two." Becky looks at Ashley with a worried look. "Besides, the Acceptance Letters won't come around until January, so I have time to fill this out." Becky waves at her.

"You can at least fill this part out." Ashley points at the background part that takes the majority of the page.

"I'm gonna do that." Becky leans back as she starts thinking.

§

The name's Becky. I've been a Magical Girl for three months. I've been beating up small-time criminals of robbers and thieves. My first day on the job, I had got my brother fired on his first day of the job at the new restaurant. But I do try to make up for him, thus I managed to get a job at a fast food place.

Perhaps a little background first?

I grew up in a forest with my older brother, Peter Sergei Wolfe, and my late folks. They died in a forest fire where my dad was hunting, and my mom had inhaled too much smoke as both Peter and I were wearing masks. She died as the car came crashing into a tree. Only Pete and I made it as my dad got caught up in the fire.

That was four years ago, and with no extended family, we were on our own. From the reports, it was a Witch that caused the fire. I have hated Witches since then. As for the Witch, she was never found nor heard of. But I'll find her.

Why do I want to become a Magical Girl? Well I want to be a Pink Magical Girl, but everyone tells me that I got the skills of a Green Magical Girl. But I want to prove everyone wrong, but they do support my goal as a Magical Girl. Mostly because they won't have to deal with me, since I'm the only Magical Girl in my hometown. Also, I really love the idea of looking good while fighting. I've been called a brute before, but I'm trying to work that out. Didn't really work out for me, so I'll rock the tomboy look.

I chose the Fairy Tale: Red Riding Hood because I love watching a movie with Red Riding Hood, and I usually beat up my brother if we didn't watch it together when I was a kid. And most Red Riding Hood Lockets usually go around $500 to $1000 while the Big 5 are around $5000. But when I saw the Black Market sales, I saw the Red Riding Hood for only $250, I gotta get myself one in order to make my dreams come true.

§

Ashley looks over at her hand writing while they're at the last period of class. "You should work on that first." Said with a snarky tone.

"I'm trying." Becky slams her head onto her desk.

"And please tell me why you couldn't do the online application?" Ashley asked as she's looking through online chats.

"Because I'm trying to work on my weight. I don't want to submit anything till I finally reach the weight requirement. I can't be over 125 lbs, but... I'm ten pounds overweight." Becky looked outside.

"You got all summer to lose that weight." Ashley tries to comfort her.

"That's the problem." Becky turns to her. "I'm muscled, not fat. And I don't want to sag out, just to lose it."

"Sorry to make you sadder, but I won't be around all summer." Ashley said to her that made her raise her head. "It's for camp."

"Okay." Becky looked depressed. "So what the hell am I gonna do all summer in order to impress the MGGA."

Ashley backs Becky. "Well, I'll try to bring in a bunch of perverts and maybe a sex offender or two to Oztown. That might keep you entertained for a while."

"Thanks." Becky softly smiled. "I'm sure beating up perverts will impress the MGGA."

Bell rings.

Everyone is leaving the school as Becky and Ashley are walking around.

"So are you still going to those self-defence classes here?" Ashley asked. "Because if so, I think Police Camp sounds fun and has more advanced techniques. And we'll be playing Bloody Mary if we have time to joke around" She suggests as she's looking over Becky's application paper.

"That does sound fun, but I don't want to use all my time taking a break from my duties as a Magical Girl at camp." Becky respectfully declines the offer.

"Alright then. But you do remember our goal together, right?" Ashley asked.

Becky smiled. "Of course. You as a detective, and me as a Magical Girl, we'll make one hell of a tag team of beauty, brains and brawn!" They posed together. "So when do you leave?" They continue walking.

"Actually, I'm supposed to leave tonight. My mom is picking me up, so... I want to spend my quiet time before I head home." She looked down.

"They're still fighting?" Becky is concerned over her family life.

Looking gloomy. "Every time they see each other. But unlike last time, they're taking this very well."

"I would say I could relate, but my parents didn't have those kinds of fights. Only bickering and nitpicking."

"It's alright." Ashley looks at her. "Besides, only a couple more years before I head off to college or a police academy to live on my own." Looking up at the complex. "I was curious about something; how do you and your brother manage to stay at the Emerald Complex for nearly four years?"

Looking confused. "What brought this up?"

"Because one day, I'll be living on my own or with a roommate, so I'll ask a professional." She happily replies.

"In that case, mostly out of sympathy, but my brother had managed to get odd jobs around Oztown. He even had to milk cows at one point. But we did have to steal food in order to feed ourselves." Becky recalled some memories.

"If he did have odd jobs, then how did he get fired?" Ashley is being suspicious.

"Do you need to ask?" Becky looks gloomy.

"Ah!" Ashley grins. "You've always been not only a loud one, but also quite a trouble maker."

"I get that a lot from your dad at times."

"Speaking of which." They managed to walk up to Ashley's place.

"Good luck packing up, Ash." Becky hugs her.

"Good luck on bringing down perverts." Ashley back pat during the hug. They let go as Ashley entered the house.

Becky looks at the clock from her smartphone. "I should head home to clean up my mess." Put it away then transform into her Magical Girl form.

She leaps across town till she goes up to the complex at the front. Entering the complex then used the stairs, still wearing her outfit. Enter her apartment. Walking to the pile of fur next to her couch bed, shedding off her fur and pulling out the tail when she transforms back into her normal look.

She put on her wireless earplugs then turned on some workout music from her smartphone.

After a couple of hours of cleaning up her fur as she makes a couple of trips down the stairs in order to toss her fur bags in.

Then she hopped around then decided to push the garbage bin across the alleyway, and made it into a couple of reps of back and forth.

After a couple of reps, she makes her way back into the complex. Kept going back up and down for nearly an hour and a half, with each time she stopped at both ends, she did a couple of push-ups and sit-ups.

After a couple of hours of pushing a garbage bin and doing stairs reps. She started shaving and taking a shower.

After all of it, she sees Peter reading her application form.

"How's school? And thank you for cleaning the fur up." He asked.

"You're welcome. It's fine. Pretty chill. Got to spend some time with Ashley before she leaves." Becky sat across from him then noticed a couple of bags next to him. "Did you bring more fast food again?" Said with a disapproving look.

"Oh! No, not this time." Peter opens up one of the bags then sees a couple of takeouts from his previous job from the restaurant. "A former coworker gave these to me. So I managed to score us some actual food for once." He smiled.

Becky is mouth watery over the cold meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes, veggies, and some cake.

"Let's warm those up!" Becky opens up the microwave.

He placed a tray in, one at a time.

"How's work?" Becky asked.

"Very busy, but I guess most people are making plans out of Oztown for the summer." Peter opens up a fridge then starts eating a cold burger from the fast food place he works at. "Before I went to work, Mr. Harwood gave me your tickets for last night." Placing the tickets on her shoulders that read $500 tickets.

"Not bad for assault." Becky nods.

"Mr. Harwood has been taking it easy on you, but due to the count of Ashley being around, guess he's trying to save face here."

"Anyways, I managed to fill out my application. Just my weight, I need to write down, but overall, I feel great." Becky smiled. "But how did you pay for this?"

"I used your travel money."

"My travel money?!" Becky barks. "I've been saving up money for my trip to Paris, France, in order to attend the Magical Girl Academia!"

"Actually, I've been saving up money for Your trip to Paris. All you do is make a mess, cause some trouble, and just sleep. I have to keep telling myself that it's all for you, plus, I can have a stress free life after you've been accepted into the Green Dorm." Peter ate another cheeseburger.

"Green Dorm again?" Becky walked back with her tray. "I'm better than the Green Dorm." She starts eating.

"Come on, Becky." Peter said. "I know the Green Dorm is where most of the tomboys tend to go, but the Pink Dorm sounds impossible for you. You should be considering that you're one of the lucky ones if you managed to get into an actual Dorm." He grabs a couple of cups then orange juice from the fridge, after eating the burger.

"But I want you to have a better life. A life where you can stop trying once I reach into the Pink Dorm. Easy living afterwards." Becky is looking out as she eats. "And we can finally get out of this dump of a town. So you don't have to worry about anything."

"I'm not worried about that, I'm worried about you, Becks. You're my only family left in this world. You're home to me. I've been stealing and living a life of a damn lie. Getting jobs from one lie after another lie, in order to put you first." Peter sat down after getting his tray.

"What happens if I do decide to go into Green?" Becky turns to him.

"I don't have to worry, because I know you're stronger than any Pink Magical Girl out there." Peter smiled. "If you were going for a Blue Magical Girl then sorry, you don't have the brains to do so. Ashley, yes. But not you." Peter jokes.

Becky smiled then stole his roast beef.

"Hey!"

Becky leaps out of the window and transforms. "I got a job to do!" She grins.

"I hope she does get into the Green Dorm." Peter chuckled as he continued to eat his meal. "Should warm these up a bit more."

§

10:30 PM

Becky is laying on top of a gas station roof. Looking up at the stars that are slowly showing themselves.

"So I'm only good enough to be a Green Magical Girl, huh?"

Becky thinks to herself as she's eating the roast beef by hand. "What more can I do to be a Pink? I can't be more girly, since I feel uncomfortable about it. I don't talk like a Gal. Or if we're going by height, I still won't make the cut."

She sat up. "Can't really do beauty stuff or even do other girly stuff, and I'm not the prettiest girl in my class. So I don't fit in the Yellow Dorm. I don't like theatre or even drama class, so I'm not cultural enough for the Red Dorm. Pete is right about not being smart enough, since I won't fit in the Blue Dorm."

She clutched her fist. "It's either Green or Pink. I know I'm strong enough for Green, but for my brother's future and all of his hard work, I gotta make it into the Pink Dorm!" She finished eating the roast beef then punched her fist. "Then I need to get scouted out and get some recommendations, I'll be the strongest Pink Magical Girl ever!"

Becky is leaping around town as she sees a few vehicles leaving Oztown as she knows that Ashley is leaving with a couple of her classmates.

"This is gonna be one boring summer." Her ears went down.

This moment is a familiar feeling of herself and Peter are in a bus together, going down to Oztown for the first time.

"Pete?" A young Becky asked.

"Yes, Becky?"

"Do you think we'll ever go back home?" Becky hugs Peter tightly as she looks forward to the seat.

"As long as you're here with me, you're home to me."

Becky looks around with tears in her eyes, and sees two people at the Yellow Brick Bridge together. After rubbing her eyes, she noticed that the two people are actually something different from the norm.

A Witch with her arm out towards the person, luring him to jump.

"Is that a...?!" Becky's eyes widened and grinned. "A Witch!"

She leaps across town, faster than she normally does. With all her might, she leaps from the nearest building to the bridge in order to land a punch. The hardest punch that she ever landed onto a single person.

As she flies down into a forest nearby, Becky grabs the top of the bridge and looks down. "Don't worry civilians! I'm here to make sure that you ain't lured by this Wicked Witch! Time to do my job!"

Becky makes sure the civilian is inside the bridge then leaps towards the forest.

As the Witch pulls herself out of the smashed boulder behind her, still obscuring her face.

"If you are a Witch?" Becky in the fighting position. "Then let me introduce myself. I'm... the Red Riding Wolf." She grins as she's ready for a fight of her life.
