57 CHAPTER 57

Everyone was shocked when out of nowhere Kagura just attacked Erza.

"BANG!"

Erza was then propelled with great force that it destroyed the wall behind her.

"What are you doing!!!", Gray said to Kagura. He was in a state of disbelief, Kagura and Erza were so close that everyone in the guild thought that they were siblings in all but blood. He had never thought that Kagura would blindside Erza and attack her, especially not when Erza was crying.

But the moment Gray laid eyes on Kagura, he could see the ferocity her brown eyes were showing. Gone was the kind and talkative girl that he knew, what replace her was a person that he didn't know that Kagura could become.

"You left my brother to rot in this place!!! To toil his childhood away!!!", Kagura shouted.

"What is going on? Calm down, Kagura. What is wrong?", Lucy said. She was still clueless at what was wrong with Kagura. She tried to approach Kagura to calm her down but the moment she touches her, Kagura used her magic to propel her away from her.

"Ah!", Lucy said as she hit a wall. Juvia immediately came running towards her to see if she was okay. Luckily Lucy was only mildly hurt and didn't lose consciousness.

Kagura then stretches out her hand and suddenly Erza was floating towards her from the rumble she came from.

"I was always hoping that my brother was alive", Kagura said as magical energy began to ooze out of her. Her anger was making her magic more powerful as time goes by. "YET YOU KNEW THAT HE WAS ALIVE ALL ALONG AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME! HOW COULD YOU KEEP THAT FROM ME!".

"Kagura, calm down", Gray said.

"Don't tell me to calm down!", Kagura said as she swings her arm towards Gray. The ice mage was then hit by a powerful force of gravity magic but he was luckier than Lucy. Even though he was still propelled to the nearest wall, he was quick enough to summon a small shield powerful enough to tank some of the damage that would have come his way.

"I'm sorry", Erza said with blood dripping from her shoulder. She was shocked when Kagura hit her, that much is true. But on the last moment when the magical sword strike was about to hit her, she was quick enough to dodge it, but only barely. After that, she was propelled by the gravity magic that came along with the initial strike.

"SORRY! IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SA---", Kagura was unable to finish her sentence when suddenly a hand coated in a unique form of energy hit her on the side of her neck. She then lost consciousness and Enzo caught her before she hit the ground.

"I always thought that you were hiding something", Enzo said to Erza as he carried Kagura in his arm. One arm under her legs and the other arm supporting her back.

"I didn't want people to die...I was already risking so much by telling people that I escape this tower. Anything more would have jeopardized the safety of the people left behind", Erza said with a sad look in her eyes.

"And what you did was right", a tall muscular man, with a metal covering his jaw and eyepatch covering his left eye said. He calmly walks towards the mages of Fairy Tail only stopping when he was in arm's reach towards Kagura. He looks at her with a loving look in his eyes, and said, "She grew so much".

"Simon", Enzo said.

"Bastard!", Gray said as he went towards Simon. He only stopped when Juvia came running towards him and said, "Hold on Gray!"

"That time when he attacked you, he knew that I made a dummy yet he attacked it anyway. No way a dark magician wouldn't have detected something like that...Confirming this is one of the reasons Juvia came along", Juvia stated.

"No wonder you're one of the famous Phantom's elements four. I didn't plan on killing you then. In order to fool the others, I was just going to knock you out. But what you did gave me a chance to make my actions a little more realistic", Simon replied.

"NO! LIES!", a man with blond hair said. He approaches the group with a disheveled appearance. "All you said are lies! 8 years ago, weren't you the one who bombed the ship everyone was on and then ran off by yourself!", Sho said to the wounded Erza. He then looks at Simon and said, "If Jellal hadn't discovered her betrayal then we would have been blown to bits...Right Simon? Tell me I'm right and Erza is lying!...Tell me that is the truth!".

"Sho...when did...you heard everything", Erza replied.

"What you tell are lies! I was saved because of Jellal", Sho responded to Erza. He had deranged look in his eyes. He couldn't accept that what Erza said was true. His mind could not allow it.

Simon walks towards Sho and places one of his hands on the shoulders of his friend and said, "You, Wally, Millianna, and everyone had been fooled by Jellal. I waited for the right time and pretended to believe him also".

"No!", Sho said as he drops to the floor. Simon was the next leader after Jellal and hearing him say that Jellal was fooling him made him see that all the time he spent in building the tower was all a lie. The beautiful world of Zeref was nothing more than that a fancy tale for a sucker like him to believe.

Simon then went towards Erza and said, "It seems that my sister did some damage on you".

"...I understood why she did it", Erza replied as she glances at her shoulder wound.

"I always believed in you Erza, since the very beginning...I'm so glad I was finally able to see you again. It has been 8 years, I miss you so", Simon said as he hugs Erza.

"Simon", Erza said as he returns Simon's hug.

The wonderful moment was then broken when they heard Sho crying. Every one of the mages of Fairy Tail pitied the man, to waste 8 years of your life is not something easy to get over with.

Erza then went towards Sho and tried to counsel her old friend.

Simon for a moment looks at Sho and Erza but his demeanor change and he look at the mages of Fairy Tail and said, "I've been waiting for this moment. Now that all these powerful mages are gathered in one place. We'll fight Jellal with our combined strength".
