53 CHAPTER 53

The following day Loki showed up in the guild and explained the circumstances of his departure from Fairy Tail. The guild members were quite shocked to know the Loki was a stellar spirit and not human. But aside from that, the members didn't really care that he wasn't human. He was part of Fairy Tail, which means he is part of the Family. All of them were just happy that he was okay.

Since he can't stay in the human world for long, Loki decided to give team Natsu resort tickets that he bought a while back. He didn't want them to go to waste after all. He was about to return to the Stellar Realm when his eyesight caught Enzo as he entered the guild.

"Hello, Enzo", Loki said as he went towards Enzo as he was getting himself a seat at the counter.

"Loki, it's good to see that you are doing fine now", Enzo replied.

"umm...Look, I'm sorry I didn't tell you about what was happening in my life...particularly about me dying", Loki said as he rubs the back of his head. Loki was feeling bad that he didn't tell Enzo what was wrong with him. He was the first person to figure out that something wasn't right...yet somehow not telling him even though he was just worried about his well-being left a bad taste in his mouth.

With a gentle smile on Enzo's face, he said, "Don't worry about it Loki. At least everything was solved in the end".

"Yeah, thanks for understanding", Loki replied.

"I have a question though"

"What is it?"

"Where did you get those tickets? Are they still available", Enzo asked.

With a huge smile on Loki's face, he said, "Oh you saw me giving Lucy and her team those resort tickets, huh. Why you need them? You want to take someone there? Perhaps a girlfriend?", Loki teased.

"No, no, not like that", Enzo said as he waves his hand. "I had a talk with Mira while I was on the way to the guild and she said that Kagura returned early in the morning and I was hoping to reconcile with her. I would really like to do that where Erza is near. You know, just in case Kagura is mad at me, then Erza could help me salvage the situation. They are close friends after all".

"I see", Loki said as he took out a card from his pockets and said, "Contact this agency and tell them that Loki sent you. They'll get you the tickets in less than an hour".

"Thanks, Loki", Enzo replied.

"Good luck", Loki said as his figure began to fade and return to the Stellar Realm.

"Well, that's nice. The loner has finally seen the error of his ways and now is willing to welcome people back into his miserable life", Makarov said in a sarcastic manner as he seated himself beside Enzo.

With an annoyed look on Enzo's face, he said, "Seriously, is it just me or do you enjoy eavesdropping on my conversations".

"Right place at the right time.", Makarov said with a cheeky smile on his face. Clearly a lie, but Enzo didn't mind. Sometimes Makarov's wisdom in some things was worth listening to, other times he was just fun to be around. But that's something Enzo would never tell Makarov. He'll keep that to himself.

After eating his meal he went towards Erza and talked about what he was planning. About how he wanted to reconnect with Kagura and how he hopes that Erza would be there to salvage the situation if Kagura is annoyed or mad at him. Erza who was already excited about her trip to the resort was even more delighted when she heard about Enzo's plan. She immediately agreed to help Enzo with his problem.

"knock....knock.....knock.....knock....knock.....knock..."

After Enzo had his talk with Erza, he went and got himself two tickets to the said resort. It wasn't even noon yet but he was already in Fairy Hills knocking on its door. After talking with the caretaker of the dormitory, he soon spotting a Kagura who had a messy hair. It was clear that she just woke up and was quite unprepared that someone would look for her in the dormitory. She was even more shocked when the person who wanted to talk to her was none other than Enzo himself.

"Enzo?... You are looking for me?", Kagura asked. The idea of Enzo looking for her was a thought that never crossed her mind. She wonders what could have brought this on.

"Hello, Kagura... Yes, I was looking for you", Enzo said in an awkward manner.

"Why?", Kagura asked with one of her eyebrows raised.

"I'm just gonna say it", Enzo said as he closes his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Look. I know I left you as soon as I was able to do missions for the guild. I can't excuse my behavior back then. I thought I was too...incapable of taking care of a child--"

"So you left me in the guild", Kagura said with slight anger in her voice.

With a guilty look on his face, Enzo responded, "I know, I had my own demons to handle... It wasn't until recently that I had begun to fully understand the error of my ways....", Enzo then rubs the back of his head and said, "What I want to say is that I want to rebuild our relationship, so that we can have a good friendship....".

Kagura was silent for a while but she soon gave her answer, "All right then".

Enzo began to smile after hearing Kagura's answer and he said, "That's wonderful". He then took out a ticket in his pockets and said, "I bought these tickets and I was hoping that you would come with me. Before you say it, we won't be alone. I bought these tickets because Erza and her team are already headed there. I know your close relationship with Erza and I thought that spending time with her and me was a good way to start building our relationship".

Kagura took one of the tickets and said, "Okay, I'll be there".

"Nice, will take the train and hopefully be in the resort by 5 in the afternoon", Enzo said as he soon left the dormitory.

'What could have happened that led Enzo to see the error of his ways?', Kagura thought as she looks at the leaving figure of Enzo. She then went to her room and her gaze was immediately directed at the sword place on the table near her bed. She then gently caress the sheath of her blade with the edges of her fingers and said, "Damn it, now I can't unsheath you...Stupid Enzo for doing the right thing".

She promised herself that when she is powerful enough she would draw this blade and teach Enzo a valuable lesson but that is now a moot point. She then just sighed and began packing her things for the trip.

The ride on the train was rather quiet most of the time. The two of them had barely anything to talk about. They both wanted to fix the rift that was formed between them but starting from WHERE was now the problem. Both of them were clueless about where to begin. So, the train ride was spent in silence rather than awkward conversation.

The moment they arrived at the resort, Kagura immediately went to find Erza while Enzo decided to have a quick bite to eat. Hopefully, they could have a better chance in mending their relationship tomorrow, or so Enzo thought.
