52 CHAPTER 52

Enzo tried to get Loki to tell him what was wrong but Loki was adamant that he was fine. Enzo had no choice but to respect Loki's decision. If he doesn't want to tell him about his problem then who is he to demand to know it.

"Loki, if not me, at least tell somebody", Enzo said to Loki. Loki just nodded in response.

Enzo then left Loki, hopefully, he would consider what he said, and hopefully, he can talk to someone about what is wrong with him. Seeing that it was already morning, Enzo decided to just go to the guild infirmary and sleep for a couple of hours there.

When afternoon came, Enzo exited the infirmary and what greeted him was a Makarov reading the newspaper.

"You woke up late too, huh", Enzo said.

"....I don't like when people use the infirmary to sleep. You're an S-rank mage, you have the money, go rent or buy yourself a house. The infirmary is for people who are wounded. I don't want it to be unavailable for people just because someone is sleeping there", Makarov said as he flips the newspaper to the next page.

"Jeez, I just woke up. I don't want to be lectured right away", Enzo said as he orders food from Mira.

"You've seen Loki anywhere?", Enzo said as he waited for his food to be delivered.

"Loki?, I believe he just got himself a mission early this morning", Makarov then looks at Enzo and he said, "Why the sudden interest in Loki?".

"I just worry for the guy. I felt something off about him yesterday", Enzo said.

With a smile on Makarov's face, he said, "Hahahahaha. Looks like I don't have to worry about you being anti-social anymore. You keep this up then I could relax sooner than I thought".

Enzo just rolled his eyes when Makarov responded. He decided that he should check on some houses for sale since there was still time. He then said goodbye to Makarov and went on his way.

"Master, I have mail for you", Mira said. Makarov's attention was then removed from the newspaper he was reading to the mail in the hands of Mira.

"What is---", Makarov's happy demeanor was then replaced with sadness and grief when he saw what the stocks of mail were. The mail had the logo of the Magic Council on it, which means it was another stock of complaints.

With tears in his eyes, Makarov took the documents and said, "I'll handle this". He then went towards his office and lock the door. Mira who was watching the Master of Fairy Tail had a sadistic smile on her face the entire time. The people who were still on the guild somehow felt the aura that was coming off Mira and they decided to keep their distance from the barkeeper of the guild.

While Enzo was out town searching for some available house he spotted a woman who was a member of Phantom Lord. The woman stops walking when she saw Enzo in front of her. With a nervous look on her face, she approaches Enzo and said, "Hello".

Enzo looks at her and asked, "Weren't you a member of 'The Element four'? What are you doing here?".

"... I was thinking about joining Fairy Tail...", Juvia said. She could barely look at Enzo straight in the eyes and she continued, "About what happened..". She then bowed her head and said, "I hope you could forgive me for what I did. I'm really sorry".

"I see", Enzo said as he walks pass the bowing woman. But before he could get far, Enzo turned around and said, "Everyone deserves a second chance. Just make sure you don't screw this chance up". Enzo then left after saying what was on his mind.

A week nearly pass and Enzo had now found a decent house to call his home. Enzo wasn't just looking for a house for one week though. Enzo also bought a piece of land in Magnolia and he had contacted a construction firm to build an apartment on it. He thought about what he would do with his money and he decided to build an apartment and rent the place out.

For the past week, he hasn't been in the guild due to all the legal requirements that he needed to do. So, he was quite perplexed when he was near the door of the guild and the members of Fairy Tail were rushing out of the guild building. He went to the counter and he asked Mira what was wrong.

"Loki, quit the guild today. Everyone is worried so they are looking for him", Mira replied.

"I see...", Enzo said. He then walks out of the guild and used his observation haki to try and locate the ring mage of Fairy Tail but it was to no avail. He then decided to used moonwalk and soru. With this, he thought that he could locate Loki far quicker.

While in the air, Enzo could see the members of Fairy Tail calling out for Loki. Watching them look for someone they care about is incredibly touching. Family, that is what truly is important in Fairy Tail.

While he was bouncing in the air, he felt the presence of Lucy going out of town and going towards the train. If everyone was looking for Loki, then why would Lucy get out of town? This could only mean one thing, Lucy knows where Loki is. Seeing that there were already a lot of people searching for Loki inside of Magnolia, Enzo decided to follow Lucy on the train.

He was brought to a town near the influence of the guild, Blue Pegasus. He followed Lucy to a place near a waterfall and there he saw Loki. The ring mage was intently looking at what seems to be a grave.

"Everyone's looking for you, you know", Lucy said. This broke Loki from his own thoughts. The ring mage was incredibly shocked that someone was able to find him.

"Stellar spirit mage Kalian is your summoner", Lucy said as she looks at the grave in front of Loki. She then looks Loki straight in the eyes and said, "Stellar Spirit Loki, or should I say Leo of the Lion".

Loki was not the only one who was shocked because of this knowledge, in fact, Enzo was as well.

Because Lucy already knew of the truth, Loki decided to share his story about his past. How Kalian treated her stellar spirits, and about his guilt. This was Loki's greatest pain, he indirectly killed his summoner, and even how cruel Kilian was, he still felt guilty about what he did. So, with his death, he hopes that he could wash away his sin and finally rest. But Lucy wouldn't let him die. Lucy's denial to accept Loki's death prompted 'The Stellar Spirit King' to arrive.

Seeing the man that could help Loki in front of her. Lucy fought to have Loki's right back to return to the stellar realm. She didn't even know it but all of her stellar spirits were summoned in a brief moment. All of them were pleading for Loki's return to the Stellar Realm. So moved was the Stellar King about Lucy's conviction that he agreed to let Loki return home.

But before 'The Stellar Spirit King' left the premises, he looks in the direction of where Enzo was hiding. Enzo, who was at the receiving end of the gaze of Stellar Spirit King was shocked. He had made sure to completely hide his magical energy but for 'The Stellar Spirit King' to see him was a testament to his power. After gazing for him for a while, He and Loki eventually returned to the stellar realm. Thus leaving an exhausted Lucy in Killian's grave.

Lucy stood up and gave a sigh of relief and said, "Thank goodness that ended well".

"Indeed", Enzo said as he approaches the exhausted Lucy. Lucy was shocked that someone was here with her and he said, "How long have you been here?".

"Since the very beginning"

"Oh..."

"Come on, let's go back to the guild. I'm pretty sure that they would like to know what happened to Loki", Enzo said. Lucy nodded and together the two individuals took the train. Throughout the entire ride, Lucy was sleeping. Her summoning all of her summons was incredibly draining to her. The moment the train arrived in Magnolia, Lucy was still too tired to return to Fairy Tail. So Enzo decided to be the one to deliver the messages to the members of the guild while Lucy went home to continue sleeping.

Enzo went towards the guild and deliver the message that Loki was fine. Others wanted to know where he was but Enzo said that it will be explained more tomorrow. He wanted the members to rest since it was already late. Everyone trusted Enzo, so they all went home.

Enzo was the last to leave the guild and before he could return to his house, he saw Master Makarov in the corner of the guild.

"Master", Enzo said as he greeted the Master of Fairy Tail.

"See Enzo being a Master of Fairy Tail is making sure that everyone in the guild is safe. What you did is a solid example of that. You'll become a fine Master in the future", Makarov said with a smile on his face.

Enzo remained silent but you could tell that he was thinking about something.

Seeing that Enzo was deep in thought, Makarov said, "What's on your mind kid?".

"I was just thinking about something", Enzo replied. He then said his farewell to the master of the guild but before he could leave, he looks at Makarov and asked, "Where is Kagura?".

"I believe Elfman and her took a mission 3 days ago. They'll probably return soon... Why you asking?", Makarov replied.

"...Nothing", Enzo said as he left the guild.
