49 CHAPTER 49

Seeing the dangerous situation that he was in, Jose immediately used his magic to try and give him a chance to escape. He summoned as many shade creatures that his magical reserves could spare but all of this was to no avail. Master Makarov would not allow a man like Jose to escape, especially after all the pain that he made his children go through.

Master Makarov summoned multiple magic seals, all of which were surrounding Jose. The wounded wizard saint could do nothing as all the seals began to bombard him with multiple light beams.

"BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!"

Aria who was hiding in the air saw the outcome of his master, and he decided to run for it and consider it a loss.

After the bombardment, Master Jose could be seen unconscious in the middle of multiple craters.

There was a hush silence when the fairy tail members saw the knockout body of Jose. They were digesting what they saw when suddenly they look at each other and began to have smiles on their faces.

"WE WON!"

"WE WON AGAINST PHANTOM LORD!!!"

"WE'RE THE NUMBER 1 GUILD IN FIORE!!"

Makarov looks at his celebrating children and he had a smile form on his face as well. He was glad that they won and also even gladder that none got too hurt because of war. After a few minutes of the guild members celebrating, Makarov looks at Jose and he said to Mira, "Have Porlyusica makes sure he lives but make sure to tell her that we want him to remain unconscious. Just until the rune knights arrive and get him out of our hands".

Mira nodded and together with Elfman, the two siblings took Jose to deliver him to Porlyusica.

Makarov then walks towards the guild building, or what remains of it. The battle had heavily damaged the guild building that the only way to fix it was to build a new guild building from the ground up. "Wow... This got trashed pretty badly", Makarov commented.

Lucy who was in the middle of the guild members once again felt extremely guilty. Before Lucy could feel even sadder, an arm suddenly rested on her shoulder.

"Although our guild got trashed", Jet said as Lucy looks at him.

"We can just rebuild", Droy added.

"It's a victory where we all fought together", Levy stated.

Lucy with tears threatening to fall out of her eyes said, "Levy...Jet...Droy...".

Makarov Dreyar, who was still looking at the destroy Fairy Tail guild said to Lucy, "Lucy, happiness, and sadness...We can't share all of it, but we can to some extent... One person's anger is everyone's anger, one person's happiness is everyone's happiness, one person's tears are everyone's tears. That is a guild".

The more Master Makarov continued to speak, the more Lucy cried.

"Raise your head, our thoughts should reach you. You don't have to suffer from guilt. You are a member of Fairy Tail", Makarov said to Lucy.

Lucy then began to full out cry when Makarov finish speaking. Her tears weren't tears of sadness though, they were tears of happiness, happiness that she was part of such a wonderful guild.

After a few minutes of this touching moment, the members of Fairy Tail remember that Enzo was still on the destroyed Phantom Lord Guild.

"Shit! We forgot about Enzo", Erza blurted out to the group.

"We actually forgot about him", Cana said as she rubs the back of her head.

"I'm on it", Happy said as he flew towards the destroyed guild. The members of Fairy Tail awkwardly waited for Enzo to be brought back to the guild. After a few minutes of waiting, they saw Happy return without carrying anyone with him.

"Happy, where is Enzo?", Natsu asked.

"I looked everywhere but he wasn't there", Happy replied.

"Maybe something happened to him", Kagura stated.

"No, he's fine. I'm sure of it. Everyone should rest for the day and we can start about planning in fixing the guild tomorrow", Makarov said to the group.

The people nodded and trusted Makarov's decision, even Kagura reluctantly agreed to what Master Makarov was saying. They soon disperse and went to their homes to get some much-needed sleep.

MEANWHILE:

After taking a few minutes to recover, Enzo decided to sneak out of the Phantom Lord guild without anyone knowing it. He went towards the forest of Magnolia and he planned to sleep in Gildarts house for the night. But right now, he was roasting a gigantic boar he just happened to find when he walking in the forest.

"Ouch, damn it that hurts", Enzo said as he added fire to the flame in front of him. His body still ached due to Jose's spells.

Suddenly he could sense someone approaching him, with a smile on his face he said, "Don't even think about it you f*cker".

A man soon approaches Enzo and said, "Your no fun, Enzo".

"You're not going to make me go to sleep, Mystogan", Enzo said with annoyance in his voice.

Enzo and Mystogan had met in the past, sometimes in Magnolia and sometimes during their missions. The first time he met Mystogan, he tried to make him go to sleep but Enzo was able to power through the spell by suddenly bursting out his magical energy. This pushout out the influence of Mystogan's spell in his system. They nearly fought during that time. Luckily Mystogan explained that he is a mage of Fairy Tail and that he didn't want other people to see him, a fact that Enzo later double-checks with Master Makarov, and lucky for the man this was true.

"Where have you been? Did you even know that the guild had just gone through a war?" Enzo asked his fellow S-rank mage as he made sure that the boar he was cooking won't get burned.

"Of course I did. If it wasn't for me then not only would Fairy Tail have to fight Phantom Lord but Fairy Tail would have had to fight all of it subdivision as well", Mystogan said as he seated beside Enzo.

Enzo looks at Mystogan and said, "Fine, that's actually a good excuse".

"So, why are you here and not with the other Fairy Tail members? They're looking for you, you know"

"Solitude is my own celebration... And before you say it, you're not getting a piece of this boar", Enzo said.

"Come on man, it looks delicious besides can't a guy just share food with another guy", Mystogan said.

"I don't swing that way A**hole", Enzo replied.

After the short conversation, the two men suddenly burst out laughing.

"Anyway I brought something to go along with this boar", Mystogan said as he showed Enzo two bottles of expensive alcohol.

Enzo looks at it and he recognized where it came from, "That's Master Makarov's alcohol". With a smile on his face, he added, "Fine you can have some".

"I thought so", Mystogan said as he waited for the boar to be ready.
