"BANG!"

"AHH! WHAT WAS THAT?", a rune knight said as he used his arm to cover himself from the sudden gust of wind that was spreading due to the explosion that is happening not far from him.

"That must have been the White Titan", a Rune Knight commander said as he looks at the direction of the explosion. He furrowed his brow and said to every one of his soldiers, "We need to hurry. We can't allow them to escape".

"YES SIR!", the rune knights said in unison.

Right now, the rune knights together with Enzo Lockhart are targeting the last Dark Guild that the Magic Council has on their list. They had been doing this in the past year, and the people of the continent of Ishgar were quite happy that the Magic Council were taking their jobs seriously.

In fact, it was Makarov Dreyar that put forth the idea of capturing some of the Dark Guilds in the continent. As a Guild Master, Makarov knows that Dark Guilds are rising and he was quite worried that it may cause some problems in the future. At first, the Magic Council was reluctant to approve such a mission due to one fact. They didn't have a powerful mage that would spearhead the operation. Eliminating and capturing Dark Mages was a job that was something beyond the capabilities of the Rune Knights of the Magic Council. And most of the wizard saints, if not all won't even care in helping in that matter.

But the worries of the Magic Council were thrown out of the window when Makarov said that Enzo Lockhart, an S-rank mage of Fairy Tail was willing to spearhead the operation. The Magic Council had worked with Enzo in the past and they knew the man's skills and capabilities. They approved the mission and in the last year, Enzo Lockhart together with the rune knights had captured and destroyed multitudes of Dark Guilds.

"Sir we have already captured most of the mages and right now we are trying to see if some escaped", a rune knight said to the commander.

The commander nodded and ordered, "Begin confiscating the possession of the guild".

"Yes sir!", the knight saluted as he left.

The commander looks in the direction where Enzo Lockhart has been fighting. There were no sounds coming from that direction anymore, indicating that the fighting had stopped, he ordered a team of rune knights to come with him to check the situation.

After walking a few hundred meters, they saw a clearing in the forest. Some areas were burning, some trees were frozen and they saw some small craters in the clearing. The rune commander scanned his surroundings and he eventually saw Enzo in the side.

The moment he saw the man, the commander was shocked. Enzo Lockhart, a man that the commander knew was a powerful mage was injured. His left arm was bleeding and he had an angry look on his face. Throughout the year, the man has never been injured, this would mean that the wizard that Enzo was fighting was incredibly powerful.

"Tsk. the f*cker escape. I thought I had defeated him but in instant, he changed form, and attack me. I was able to block his attack in the last moment but he was more powerful than I expected", Enzo said with an annoyed look on his face.

"Do you remember his face?", the commander asked.

"I do, I'll tell your sketch artist what he looks like later", Enzo replied.

The commander nodded in response.

A FEW DAYS LATER:

Enzo Lockhart is returning from his 1-year mission with the Magic Council, he was still annoyed that he was injured in the last engagement. Anyway, this was the longest mission that Enzo had taken. It was also the most lucrative, so at least that was nice. Right now he was on the train on the way to Magnolia, he had decided to return back to the guild and see what has happened there.

The moment he was in front of the guild, even before he opened the door, he felt a strong emotion radiating from the inside. He opened the door and he was greeted by sadness.

Enzo saw Mirajane, the latest S-rank mage of Fairy Tail crying in the corner. Most of the members were consoling the girl, while Elfman was on the other side of the hall. The young man had a hollow look in his eyes, on occasion the young man would look at his sister but he would immediately look down at the floor afterward.

He saw Master Makarov clenching his fist and having tears forming in his eyes. He went towards the older man and asked him,"What happened?".

"Lisanna is dead", Makarov said plainly and weakly.

"What? Who did it?", Enzo said with anger in his voice as a strong aura seem to radiate from him.

Enzo was considered an enigma in the guild. The man was rarely seen in the guild, so aside from them considering him as a member, the rest have no real connection with him.

Kagura was probably the only one aside from Master Makarov that has a good relationship with the White Titan, but their relationship has formed a rift the past 2-3 years due to Enzo being absent most of the time.

"It was me....I killed my sister", Elfman said weakly. The entire guild was silent, all Mira could say before she started crying was that Lisanna died. She wasn't able to tell them the entire thing.

"WHAT!", Natsu shouted and went towards Elfman. Natsu had his hand on the neck of the taller man and he said in anger in his voice, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN, ELFMAN! EXPLAIN YOURSELF!".

"The mission was to defeat a powerful monster...Mira was having trouble defeating the monster...so, I decided to used Take-over magic on it...But I was too weak...I lost control.....and I killed my sister", Elfman said as tears began to fall out of his eyes.

Natsu was shocked when he heard this, so were the rest of the guild members. Even Enzo's anger was gone, it was replaced with pity for the younger man instead.

Tears began to fall out of Natsu's face and he lets go of Elfman and he ran out of the guildhall.

"Natsu!", Happy shouted as he followed after him.

The rest of the members could only try to console the crying siblings.

Kagura who was in the corner of the guild looks at Enzo with a questioning gaze, but Enzo seems to not notice Kagura looking at him.
