23 CHAPTER 23

In a modest bed, you could see a teenage kid slowly stirring as he gained consciousness.

"a...a.h....."

"Mom, Dad, his waking up!", a small girl said, as she looks at the figure that was on the bed.

When Enzo opened his eyes he was first confused, then he remembered what he did before he lost consciousness and suddenly he stood up from his bed and watch his surroundings.

"Easy their kid", a man who was probably in his 30s said to Enzo.

"Someone is energetic in the morning", a beautiful woman said, the woman looks to be the same age as the man.

"Where am I? and Who are you?", Enzo said with steel in his voice and a fierce look in his eyes. He was carefully watching his surroundings, as a bounty hunter, you never know if someone would attack you, even if they don't look the part. There has been a couple of times in the past that he was ambushed when he slept.

When the man saw this he wasn't afraid of the kid, no, the first thought that came to his mind was that of sadness. For a kid to have such a hostile response would mean a sad or cruel upbringing. He looks at his wife and the two seem to have a silent conversation with their eyes.

"Relax kid, my son and I found you last night by the river. You were soaking wet and unconscious, I carried you to my house got you cleaned up, and now you're awake. What happened to you anyway?", the man asked.

Enzo who still wasn't letting his guard down was quite confused now. The man had referred to him as 'kid' for the second time. He looks at his arm and he realized something, they were smaller. He then proceeded to look at his body and a feeling of shock hit him, he was a teenage kid again. How is that possible?

The man seeing the confused and shocked look of Enzo thought that the kid could not remember what happened to him, the man felt sad for Enzo's circumstances even more.

Seeing what was happening, the woman said to them, "How about let's eat breakfast first before we talk, eh".

Then out of nowhere another kid, this time a boy perhaps 2 or 3 years older than the little girl said, "Yeah let's eat".

The family of 4 began to seat themselves at the dining table. The little boy who was so excited to eat his food was hit in the hand by her mother.

"Ouch!", the boy said as he rubs the part of his hand that his mother hit.

"Manners, Simon", the woman said as he looks at her son. Then the woman looks at Enzo and she said to him, "Come now dear, there is another chair just for you. Hurry up before the food gets cold". After saying that the woman gave Enzo a calm smile, for a brief moment Enzo saw the visage of his mother.

Enzo reluctantly nodded and he went to the dining table, seating beside the small girl on her right.

"You want pancakes?", the little girl asked him.

"....yeah sure... I guess", Enzo said as pancakes were being placed on his plate. The woman wanted to help her daughter but the little girl was adamant that she could do it by herself. The woman just gave her daughter a calm smile as she watched her served food.

Soon the family began to eat with a merry atmosphere. Enzo took small bites of his pancakes as he observes the group of 4, he saw that there were happy. Suddenly Enzo was hit by a wave of sadness, he suddenly remembered the last meal he had with his parents. Something he hadn't thought about for years now.

"Are you okay, dear?", the woman said as she spotted Enzo having tears forming in his eyes.

Enzo quickly rubbed the tears away and he said as he devoured the pancakes, "This is just so delicious".

Seeing that Enzo was talking with his mouth full, the little girl said to him, "Don't talk when your mouth is full". The girl was so cute when she acted all bossy and mature.

"hahahahahaha", The man laughed when he saw this.

After Enzo swallowed his food he apologized to the little girl, and they soon continued eating their meal.

After the meal, the older kid asked Enzo, "What's your name? Where are you from? How old are you? How---",

Seeing that his son won't stop asking questions he placed his hand on Simon's shoulder and said to him, "One question at a time Simon".

"Sorry", Simon said as he rubs the back of his head.

"I'm Emma Mikazuchi, this is Arthur Mikazuchi, this cute little girl is Kagura Mikazuchi and this little guy that won't stop asking you questions is Simon Mikazuchi", the woman said as she introduced herself and her family.

"My name is Enzo Lockhart, ma'am", Enzo said to the women.

"Don't call me ma'am, dear. You'll make me feel old", Emma said. When Emma said this Enzo felt a cold chill travel up his spine. A small bead of sweat was formed on his forehead instantly.

"Sorry, ma---I mean Sorry Miss. Emma", Enzo said as he bowed his head. He really did not want to anger this woman.

"Where are you from Enzo?', Arthur asked as he saves Enzo from the wrath of his wife.

"I'm originally from the Kingdom of Tolfa", Enzo said.

"Where is that?", Arthur said in confusion.

"umm.. Somewhere in the Grandline", Enzo said with confusion as well. He lost consciousness in the Grandline, so these people should know where the Kingdom of Tolfa is located. It was one of the most well-known kingdoms in the Grandline after all.

"I'm sorry dear, but where is this Grandline?", Emma asked.

"huh?"

"Well this is Rosemary Village, this village is in the outskirts of the Kingdom of Fiore", Arthur said.

Enzo was confused he never heard of the Kingdom of Fiore before, and after thinking for a while a scary thought hit his head. He quickly asked them if they know about the World Government, the Shichibukai system, the marines, and pirates.

Both adults said that they didn't know any of those.

It finally made sense to him now, the reason why these people didn't know about the Grandline and The Kingdom of Tolfa, those places didn't exist in this world. He was once again teleported into another world!
