CH.38 - Have You Ever Thought About Dying ?

A/N : I am sorry for the lack of chapter these days, I just learned a bad news in my family so….yeah didn't feel like writing.

Back at Enkai, when the group successfully, entered Faea Belgaen.

They were leaded by the same man Enkai threatened to a small room, on their way they obviously attracted attention, but also cautiousness since humans were reputed for their greed.

A thing Enkai understood completely, and didn't bother.

The guards leading also showed fear on their face, remembering the pressure they felt, and looking at their unconscious friends they didn't dare to show any hostile attitude.

Behind Enkai and Yue were Shia and the Rabbitsmen, following shyly like a dog following his owner.

Some minutes later they finally entered the room, the Captains Guard and the Haulia tribe did not enter, staying behind, only Yue and Enkai entered.

The room was big, at center was a round table, made with a special wood, it gave a natural felling and helped relaxing, which also eased the tension, which an all time high since Enkai was following the Captain.

When he entered he saw several people, he thought that they were the leader of the different tribes present in Faea Belgaen.

The first thing he saw was the the big gap between gender.

From the five people present, 3 were woman while the last two were men.

For the two male, they were the wolf species and the other one was from the tiger.

Enkai could tell the difference with the help of their tails, one had a big gray tail while the other one was a thin but white tail. They seemed old, understandable since they were Elders and Leader.

As for the three girls they were from the elf, cat and the fox species respectively.

The Elders from the Cat and the Fox Tribes were….well grandmas.

Enkai did feel disappointed seeing them, his dreams being shattered.

The last girl was the strangest, she was an elf but compared to the other she was young, very very young.

She had blue eyes and long braided and silky blond hair, reaching her ass. She was very beautiful and gave a very pure image, the same as a maiden.

She had…well a relatively big chest, and her clothes, as if designed for her made her beauty even more alluring. She was wearing a white dress, enhancing her forms. On her head was a crown made of wood with red flower on it. The wood seemed even more special than the one the table was made of.

Surprisingly, instead of having one of the old ones speaking, the young elf talked first.

"Hello, so your are the human asking to enter Faea Belgaen? Can I ask for your name?"

She asked with a smile looking at him. The way she talked was not fast but not slow, her voice was also enchanting and soothing, easing even Enkai.

Well, the person speaking being a beautiful elf also helped at gained Enkai cooperation.

"Enkai, Myojo Enkai, Yours ?"

The Elders frowned at Enkai response, considering it rude. Nonetheless, the young elf didn't even show a reaction, as if expecting this and only smiled.

"I see, I am Amelia Rosequartz the Elder of the Elf Tribe and The Leader of the Council of Elders."

The elf girl, now Amelia replied.

"And this is the respective Elder of each Tribe…I don't think I need to introduce them to you since you don't seem keen about knowing" Amelia continued, she was about to introduce each elder but seeing Enkai bored look se quickly understood. Her smile twitching a bit.

"Introduction done…more or less, could you tell us the purpose of your visit ?"

"The depth of the [Haltina Sea of Trees]. I want to go beneath the [Great Tree]." Enkai also didn't joke around and told his purpose.

"And…?"

"the true entrance to one of the [Seven Great Dungeons]"

"So it's for that…." Amelia showed a pensive look, while the Elder where shocked.

"How are you aware about it?!" One of the Elder, from the Tiger Tribe asked Enkai.

"I finished one…do you know Oscar Orcus?"

"I haven't heard Oscar Orcus' name for a long time. Can you prove what you have said?" Amelia cut the Tiger Tribe's Elder and asked Enkai, she was now a bit surprised.

From what she know, Orcus Labyrinth was one of the hardest to complete, she was a bit dubious about Enkai's claim.

"Here." Enkai threw Orcus's ring to Amelia, confirming his claim.

"Indeed, you have certainly reached Oscar Orcus' hideout. Although I now have many more questions pertaining to your tale, I shall permit you safe passage within Faea Belgaen's lands. The Haulia as well."

Amelia said, the other Elder didn't say anything else. Enkai was surprised, even Yue was, when she was a princess and had to make decisions without consulting anyone she would met opposition, but the Elders said nothing.

'Well, it's better that way' Enkai thought, he would get less trouble.

Amelia turned her head to the side to her aide, and said.

"They must be treated as guests. They are qualified for such treatment. You have heard your Elder's words, now perform your duties."

The later only agreed before getting out and started to plans things.

"You don't need to prepare anything, my goal is the [Great Tree], I have no interest in Faea Belgaen"

"It's a bit difficult Enkai-dono" This time it was the Fox Tribe Grandma who talked.

"Why…?" Asked Enkai.

Enkai and Yue slapped their forehead, after being with the Rabbitsmen Tribe they understood how they can be…Yue began planning her tort—-ahem training in her mind.

"Well…if that's all I think we are done here Enkai-dono, I will let my aide guide you through Faea Belgaen and where you will be resting. It's place near my home so if you have any question please come to me. And don't worry the Haulia Tribe will have their old land restored" Amelia said, even if she looked young she was really mature, that's what Enkai thought about her…aside from her beauty.

"Alright, Yue let's go" Enkai said, breaking the "eyes" contact between him and Amelia.

"…Mmh" Yue narrowed her eyes at Amelia before nodding and leaving with Enkai.

As he left Amelia left out a sigh of relief, startling the other Elder but she payed not mind to them.

"Dear Lord, what kind of person or monster entered Faea Belgaen" Amelia said to no one, looking at the World Tree through the window.

As night came and after bidding goodbye to the Haulia Tribe and Shia, Enkai and Yue were in their room, the aide misunderstood their relationship and they were given a single big room for the both of them. The both didn't really care, For Yue it was pleasant and Enkai it as nothing.

When they were close to sleep, Enkai was staring at the stars, feeling close to them for some reason. Lost in his own world. Yue was on the bed, looking at him.

Enkai was the one who break the silence.

"Say Yue…have you ever thought about dying ?" Enkai asked suddenly.

"…? No why?" Yue was confused, she didn't really understand what Enkai meant, she couldn't die so…no she didn't really thought about it.

"I forgot for a moment about your special condition…did you lose a close member of your family from a disease ?" Asked Enkai, rephrasing it.

"I once had a cousin, the daughter of my Uncle…she died from an unknown disease why…?" Yue replied, in a sad tone as she remembered.

"Haaa…because…well…I am sick too…" Enkai replied. Yue's eyes widening.

"…What?!"
