The both of them were in awe in front of these stats..but Hajime was all smile, he could finally be useful.
As for Enkai he was in deep thought since he thought that after seeing Hajime stats, he wondered how much did he gained...

Even without a status plate, Enkai felt his body even more powerful than before. He stood up towards the wall and clenched his fist before striking a hard blow into it.
The wall shook before it collapsed, revealing a point mark embedded in it. He also felt that if he used his sword skills the rebound would not be as strong as before.
"...cough...cough...did you have to do that now in such a small Enkai space?" Said Hajime coughing because of the dust from the collapsed wall.
"Hehe...sorry I was a bit too excited not to think about it" said Enkai scratching the back of his head.
"Ahhhhh....what are we going to do with you....you're really lucky your appearance hasn't really changed except physically, you've kept your silver hair and blue eyes" said Hajime, jealous of the situation.
"Don't be jealous Hajime, look, you've finally become a man!" says Enkai, totally obvious at the insult thrown.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Hajime replied, frowning.
"Don't worry, at least you can finally talk to Kaori without blushing like a tomato" Enkai said, laughing.
"You know, you really are the worst at cheering someone up," said Hajime with a wry smile.
"Thank you for the compliment" said Enkai, heading for the exit.
"Well, jokes aside, you noticed it too, didn't you?We have become stronger by eating the meat of a magical beast, I have a theory that depending on the monster we eat we get his skills. Continued Enkai, with a serious look.
Both tested the skills and were not surprised when lightning came out of their hands.The two lightning bolts were different because imagination was important when casting the skills.
Afterwards they tried to feel the sensation when they threw the skill, leading to the discovery of the skill <Magic Manipulation>. Then, sparks of red electricity was released from the fingertips of his right hand.
"Well...I think we've done the trick, to test <Iron Stomach> we have to eat this meat but I think I'm going to die before I can finish my meal." Said Enkai as he played with the red eclairs.
"There's only one way to find out...here, eat this...it's the meat of the monster you killed several days ago." Said Hajime, playing with his new transmutation skills, he cooked meat from the Talon Bear.
The two looked at each other before ki--ahem before nodding their heads and taking a bite of the meat.
For Hajime, apart from a little pain that went away as quickly as it came nothing else happened.
But for Enkai, it was the opposite, he remained human and kept only the most useful genes. It was the same as the first time, the pain was less but it was still very strong.
Enkai was screaming while his muscles and bones were getting stronger again, to the maximum, taking sips of sacred water which didn't really change much.
Or that's what we thought, if we looked more precisely, we could see the bones and organs of Enkai shining, what was happening was simple, because of the strengthening of his bones, they merged with the sacred water and a piece of the <God Crystal> that was in the gourd.
In the end, like the organs of a dragon, those of Enkai started to produce Mana strengthening them at every moment, his mana pool widening.
As for his bones, by merging they gained properties that could put the azanthium to shame.
We can say that Enkai's body alone was a treasure. The pain ended and he opened his eyes slightly, feeling greatly mentally exhausted.
But it wasn't the end yet, just at that moment Enkai felt something calling him, instinctively he closed his eyes and found himself in the same place when he was passed out the first time.
It was the same place, with water everywhere and calm without any waves, even Enkai's footsteps did not produce any reaction on the water.
He saw a bright light at the bottom, the same as before, without asking any questions, Enkai used his new speed, not even realising his speed to try to catch the bright light.
Alas, it ended the same way as last time, but he still heard a voice.

When he opened his eyes again he saw Hajime making him drink water, it seems that Hajime who was next door when Enkai was suffering wanted to help him first but Enkai's whole body started to shine with a blinding white light.
When the light went out he found only the body of his unconscious friend on the floor and decided to give him some holy water, waking him up.
"Thank you for the water Hajime..." Said Enkai, drinking sacred water given by Hajime.
"So?! Don't leave me in suspense why your body was shining like that?!" Hajime asked, excited as a child.
"To be honest I have no idea, I feel stronger again, much stronger even, it's like I'm getting more and more powerful with each passing second it's really weird and how do you feel? "Enkai replied to his friend, being totally confused by what was happening to him.
"Oh...at least you're better, that's the most important thing, as for me I didn't get anything or felt something, my stats remained the same" Hajime replied, feeling inferior again after the power up his friend had. Albeit he also felt happy, if Enkai got stronger then the chance of escaping also increased and he would finally have his revenge.
For the next week they had the same routine of exploring the Abyss and finding new minerals, surprising them everyday, one which could lights the base, one which was really hard and could be used to produce weapon.
Both were returning to base, we could see a modern weapon which used its overwhelming power to crush its targets, flying through the shortest distance at a speed exceeding that of sound.
On the other side we could see another person walking while cutting the magical beasts coming towards them. They returned after finding a soft metal giving Enkai an idea.
Once arriving and eating, which by the way was not painful for Enkai unless he ate a monster stronger than the Talon Bear, which was the Minotaur he began to speak
"Hajime, let's talk about what we are going to do now, like I told you I have a plan" Said Enkai
"I'm listening" Hajime replied
"I suggest that ...."
