2 The Roundtable

"Are you sure we're making the right decision?" Oxoluz asked Farah who has been walking back and forth in the room.

"I can't tell if it's right, but what I do know is we're making a wise decision," she answered and went in front of her huge closet.

Farah was looking at a huge mirror hidden in her closet. Sadness is painted in her face as she looks at her own reflection. Her hand reached the mirror as a tear escape her eye.

"Do you really think we need her?" Farah asked Oxoluz who's standing behind him.

"You saw what is written in the prophecy. We can't change that," he answered and Farah nodded as a response.

"I miss her you know," Farah began and painted a small smile in her lips. "You know, I really don't know why Gazaria entrusted me with such power. He knew that I was just a normal Phoenix so until now I have no idea why he gave this."

"A new identity... Don't get me wrong I like being her, I like having this power but, I miss a normal life," she added and smiled at Oxoluz.

"You know you can always—" Oxoluz didn't get to finish his words when they heard knocks coming from the door.

"Come in," Farah waved her hand in the air and the door opened. It spit out the other leaders of different lands. She closed the closet and sat on one of the chairs in the roundtable.

The others took their seat as well. After everyone was ready, Farah took a deep breath before speaking.

"Welcome to the mainland so Gazaria," Farah began and smiled.

"It is such an honor to see you again, sister Farah," said Thalia and bowed. Farah as well bowed and suddenly Fellion spoke.

"Oh please, Thalia. Don't lie, we all know how much you love water and I can't even believe you called Farah as "Sister." Creepy," he said and all of them laughed.

All of them are friends actually. Every leader except Farah is a descendant of the strongest Phoenix of their element. Farah on the other hand is a daughter of a normal Phoenix, that's why she wondered why Gazaria chose her. When she can choose any of the others.

Farah promised to do her best to serve Gazaria and in that, she made a bond on every leader and in that... Gazaria was made. Just like how the Ancient Phoenix wanted.

After everyone in the room calmed down, Farah took a deep breath before speaking. "There is no point of lying and hiding you with all the details," she started and as she settle her eyes on all the leaders.

"Our land is in danger. Ellenia, the prophet has sent her son to warn us. We have to be ready. Oxoluz, the scroll," she added.

Oxoluz handed the scroll to Farah and showed it to everyone in the roundtable. Farah's first impression was the same as theirs. Shocked and worried.

"I feel the same way when I first saw what is written in the prophecy. In that I have made the decision to divide the stones in each ruler," said Farah and waved her hand. A few seconds after, seven stones suddenly appeared.

"It would be much safer when we divide the stones and protect it separately until the seventh comes," Farah said before giving each ruler a stone to protect.

"If ever the time comes where a stone is taken, alarm us and let it be known so that we can gather here in the mainland of Gazaria to protect it will all our might from the threat we face," she added with authority.

Everyone then nodded as a response. "Is there anything else we need to know?" Soleil asked?

"Is the danger we'll be facing this severe?" She asked for the second time and Farah painted a fake smile and nodded.

"Then we should fight," Leviant suggested and Soleil spoke.

"There is no assurance of winning when we fight," Soleil started and everyone listened.

"I agree with Farah's plan," Soleil added.

"If there are seven stones in one place, we will lose for sure, but if it's divided, we might lose one and conquer it back," she finished.

"I agree," Fellion said and nodded at Farah and Soleil.

Everyone then nodded as agreement and Farah stood up from her chair and said, "I also want to tell you, show you as well who i really am."

She walked to the closet and faced the mirror. Then turned her gaze to the other leaders before she touched the mirror with her palm. The moment her palm and the mirror met, thick white fog filled the room making them unable to see anything.

Leviant was about to use his power to drive the fog away when it suddenly got sucked so fast by a strong energy. They saw a woman in a white cloak standing before them. It was her who drove the fog away.

"I'm The White Phoenix," Farah said and suddenly her eyes turn black and someone spoke inside her.

"Only the daughter of Gazaria can bring peace of order to itself. She who will destroy Gazaria shall be the one who will restore it."

She went back into herself again and felt dizzy. "What happened?" she asked and every one was dumbfounded.

"Farah? You are the white phoenix?" Fellion asked and Farah nodded as a response.

"I thought the white Phoenix just assigned you to rule Gazaria?" Aexis asked with her eyes completely in shock.

Farah was so beautiful. Her Sapphire eyes perfectly matches with her light caramel straight hair with light waves.

Her lips which has a perfectly curved bow painted with crimson red. A smile then painted in her face and she said, "Farah and The White Phoenix is just one person, me."

She turned her gaze to Oxoluz. He was about to smile and he screamed in pain and his eyes turned black. "She has awoken and has escaped the land of forgotten for her twin has as well escaped the depths of her own reflection."

Oxoluz said in a woman's voice. Nobody in the room knows who owns that voice, but they are certain at one thing. It isn't good news.
