13 The Last Stand

Soleil and Farah arrived at Erthano and they were shocked on what they saw. Five different armies are already prepared altogether. The army of Erthano was wearing a green armor matched with brown stripes.

The army of Thalasa was wearing blue armor with a hint of silver. Aironian Warriors was wearing yellow armors, Lithonia was wearing white ones. Lastly, Solarians was wearing golden armors.

All the leaders along with Oxoluz then formed a circle, "where are the civilians?" Farah asked Oxoluz and Oxuluz used his magic to surveil on the phoenixes that was evacuated.

"They're here," he began and showed a place which is beneath the land of Erthano. Farah nodded and turned her gaze to the leaders.

"Prepare for battle," Farah said to the leaders with a serious face.

"Ysandria will be here soon, I can feel it," Farah nodded and the leaders went in front of their armies.

Farah was about to go to her army which is the Erthonian army when suddenly Oxoluz grabbed her hand. Oxoluz spoke, "can I have a moment with you in private?" Oxoluz asked.

Farah wants to say no, but she as well have some questions to ask for herself. She nodded before speaking, "sure I want some clarification as well."

The two of them then headed to the throne room, just two of them. Farah took a deep breath before she asked Oxoluz, "why did you kiss me?" Farah asked. She wants to know why, she doesn't want to settle on her own assumption.

"I like you Farah," Oxoluz said directly that shocked Farah and made her shake her head.

"How can you like me that easy?" Farah asked once again and Oxoluz shaked his head before answering.

"I don't know Farah. I just do, and I want to tell you that, please don't die in this battle. I like you and I don't need you to feel the same way, just open your heart for me," Oxoluz said and Farah sighed before replying.

"One thing I can tell you, dying isn't part of my options, and about whatever you feel... I can't answer that yet," Farah answered and smiled at Oxoluz.

"Let's go now, we have to be ready," Farah added and the two of them then left the throne room.

Leviant, was the one in front of the Aironian army. Thalia was leading the Hysanians. Soleil was leading her Solarian army. Aexis was leading her Lithonian troop.

Lastly, Farah and Oxoluz are in front of the Erthonian army. Everyone was silent when suddenly a huge ball of dark energy was about to hit the land, but Farah used her magic to block it and turn it into smaller pieces.

A loud sound of a war horn invaded their eardrums and a battalion was seen from a far. "Prepare yourselves!" Farah screamed and everyone prepared for battle.

Ysandria's army then reached Farah's. They are now a few meters away from each other. Ysandria grinned before she speaks.

"I have a surpise for you, Lady Thalia," Ysandria said and revealed Fellion who is standing behind her. All of them is shocked on what they saw.

A lone tear fell from Thalia's eyes. She badly want to attack Ysandria, but that won't help. If she do, Ysandria might use it against them.

"What, won't you welcome your friend?" Ysandria asked Farah and the other leaders who are in the front line.

A smirk then painted in Fellion's lips and he as well spoke, "Thalia's head is mine."

Those words made Thalia's heart bleed. She tried keeping those tears inside her. It won't do her no good. She has to endure, she is in war, they are in war, words are just words here.

"What did you do to Fellion?" Farah asked firmly.

Ysandria rolled her eyes before speaking, "well, you friend found out he's on the losing side so he joined mine."

"You're lying," Soleil spoke with a dark aura.

"I see you've learned the secrets of your magics, more fun is to come, pity you won't use your powers for long," Ysandria said and turned her gaze to Fellion.

"Do the honor, Fellion," Ysandria said and then Fellion nodded before he raised his sword.

"Attack!" Fellion screamed and Ysandria's army started attacking. The six shadow bringers along with Ishinoya in the lead.

Farah raised her sword as well and shouted, "Gazaria! Attack!" Her army then rushed into the other.

Slashes of swords was the first thing everyone can hear. Leviant was battling gracefully as he attack from above using his metal fan. Thalia was using her gown to attack the enemies. Soleil and Aexis was battling along side one another and, Oxoluz was with Farah. Battling together.

While Ysandria on the other hand was just standing, watching their techniques, finding everyone's weakness and when she finally read and got everything she needed, she smirked...

"Got you, Gazaria...will fall." Ysandria said and began attacking.
