10 Into The Depths Of Thalasa

After what they did on Lithonia, all of them departed and went to Thalasa. With the five stones left in their possession together they went to learn the hidden powers they can obtain from the catacombs in each land. They decided to let Thalia go next.

They are now walking in a frozen path deep beneath Thalasa. Farah was using her power to provide heat for it was so cold and the catacomb was made out of ice. Aexis on the other hand was using her power to provide light.

"Seriously, I can't believe that I have this place in my kingdom, only if I knew, I'll live here," Thalia said and a chuckle escaped Soleil's mouth.

"Who would want to live here, it's freaking cold you know," Soleil said and Thalia rolled her eyes before speaking.

"That's the point, it's cold and I love it," Thalia said and the path ended on a wall and there engraved a phoenix as well.

"Woah, looks like it's my turn... It's not that hard, right Aexis?" Thalia asked and Aexis nodded slowly though her face has a no impression.

"It's not hard at all," Aexis answered. Sarcasm painted in her words, Thalia took a deep breath before looking at Farah.

"You ready?" Farah asked and Thalia nodded and answered, "I am."

Farah accessed her power and melted the frozen stone. What lies in front of them now is a clear frozen thin surface of ice. One wrong move, it'll break and they don't know what lies on its depths.

Thalia took a deep breath and entered the room. After entering, the stone came back which somehow made Thalia nervous. It made her hesitant of taking a step, afraid that if she do, the ice will break.

She tried using her powers it didn't work. She as well tried using the power of her dress but it just couldn't work. With all the bravery in her body, she took one step and the ice started breaking.

Thalia ran as fast as she could so that she won't fall into what lies below but she couldn't last that long anymore. She fell into a huge endless pool of water so deep she was about to drown. She tried her best using her powers but she just couldn't.

The waves was do strong she can't handle her weight that easily. She couldn't hold on much longer... She fell into the depths of Thalia and lost her consciousness.

An hour have passed Farah and the others are worried on what is happening to Thalia that Aexis asked. "What is happening? What's taking her so long? I'm worried about her," she said and Farah tried using her power but it couldn't work.

"I can't open it. Only the person who enters can open the path, even if I use all my power I won't be able to open it either way," Farah said making the others much worried.

Thalia is still unconscious as her body lingers in the depths of Thalasa. For some reason she was then awakened and heard a voice of a man, "wake up and use the water as your own." The voice said and she opened her eyes.

She saw nothing but blue, there were bubbles and her wearing her dress. She then started swimming but then she heard, "no Thalia. Surrender and use it as your own."

Thalia closed her eyes and let herself drown in the depths of Thalasa. She then found herself on the floor of the sea and she stood. She faced a man with a blue cape, he smiled at her and he spoke, "use the water as your own now."

After the man spoke it disappeared and for a moment Thalia didn't know what it meant. A few seconds she realizes that to surrender doesn't mean to give power, but to use it against it. She took a deep breath and by will, she moved at any way she wanted and she chuckled.

A water Phoenix can breath underwater using their power but it doesn't last long, but what Thalia now experiences is different. An idea came into her mind. She tried using the water to move it in the way she wanted.

It did work. She can manipulate the water and she has no difficulty doing so. A satisfied smile painted in her lips, "I bet they're waiting for me a long time now," she whispered to herself and went to the stone where she entered.

Her palm met the stone and what's once was frozen, now melted. She saw worry was erased in the faces of her friends. She rolled her eyes and spoke as she joined the others, "oh come on. You know I won't die that easy," she said and the others cuddled her.

"We can no longer afford losing one more friend," Leviant said and the other's agreed as they cuddle Thalia tightly.

Together then they left the frozen catacomb and Farah spoke, "I guess we should take the Hysanas to Erthano as well."

Thalia nodded as they left the catacomb, "let's go to the throne room," Thalia said and lead the way. They then reached the throne room and there awaits two men.

"General Luke, General Lander," Thalia greeted and gave a bow. The Generals did the same and painted a small smile.

"Will you please gather all the people of Thalasa and take them to Erthano safely?" Thalia requested but then Farah suddenly interrupted.

"I think it'll be much safer if you join them," she said and she thought of the same. They might be ambushed and she can't risk losing her people.

She nodded as an agreement to Farah, "I'll take my people to Erthano, be safe all of you. I'll be on Erthano in case something happens, I'll alert you right away."

The others then nodded and Thalia did the same before speaking, "we'll take our leave now."

Thalia, along with the two generals then left the throne room and Farah took a deep breath before turning her gaze to the others who ws left ; Oxoluz, Leviant, Soleil and Aexis.

"We found what lies in Thalasa's depths. We should next head to Aironia," she said and looked at Leviant.

"Let's go?" Leviant asked and the others nodded.

Farah then used her magic transporting them quickly to the beautiful land of Aironia. "Let's go."
