2 Chapter 2 The White Night

Marcie has been a friend of mine since I am introduced as Mr. Feng's fiance. She's kind and what I like the most is she's elegant with a heart. She has been engaged for over a year now and from what I have heard, they'll be married by the end of the year.

Marcie and I went to 15th floor where the office is located. "By the way Marcie, thank you for your concern a moment ago. I nearly lost my temper but you're angel in this guise. hahaha"

"Oh please don't bother to thank me. If something happen surely Mr. Feng will fired me in an instant." she replied. "By the way, I just took a little break. I have to go back. You just wait here, I'll call boss and inform him about you." she added.

Marcie left me in a vacant room. For ones I thought it was the CEO's office. This is big and spacious. I sat in the sofa and not long after Marcie left, I heard some voices outside.

"Yes Sir, she's inside." I guess it was Marcie and the door opened.

A man in his mid 30's enter the room. It was Mr. Feng. He's tall around 6 foot tall with broad shoulder and black hair. A typical Chinese-American boy. I don't have plan to get in love with this guy. I just want my company back!

"Hi!" a sweet voice cleared the air. "and what made my future wife to visit me here? its the first time I've seen you here in the office" he said. "Hi Mr. Playboy, isn't bad to visit you sometimes?" I replied.

"Hahahaha" he really have a masculine voice. "Don't be like that. I'm trying to change my image because we're getting married." he said.

"Are you? hahaha don't give that BS. In the first place, I don't know why you agreed to this kind of set up." I replied back. I know it's part of my plan but I wanted to somehow know his reasons.

"Why not? You're the most gorgeous women I've ever met plus your family has been a close friend of ours." he nodded. As I figured, lies beneath lies.
