Reunited

I look to the right and find my whole high school class sitting in the living room. I was extremely shocked. I come back to my senses and ask Ivan what's going on. He said they told the taxi the wrong address and was lost. So one one of my friends Nate, you remember. I nodded. Well yeah he called me asking for help and here we are. I was about to walk down, but Ivan gave me a stern stare and I looked at myself and scurried upstairs to change. As I was walking back down the stairs I recognized a very familiar face and rushed down the stairs shouting ABBY. She turned and saw me and said Amanda? Yeah it's me Amanda. We hugged for a few seconds and she suddenly recognized Ivan. She was so shocked and started screaming OMG. Ivan came and hugged her too. Everyone was shocked how I ended up getting married him. Someone in the back shouted." Is this your house." I confidently answered yes and asked him why. When I saw who it was coming from I remembered how cocky he was back in high school. I didn't mind talking about it but I had to get ready for work. I called Ivan and excused myself from the conversation. I ran upstairs to get dressed. Today I had a meeting about an upcoming surgery and as the lead surgeon I couldn't be late. I put my hair in a French braid, put some earrings on, put my wedding rings on, grabbed my work and purse and I strode downstairs holding a pair of Chanel heels. Ivan handed me my coffee and I gave him a kiss. Right as I was about to walk out the door I heard children called my name and knew who it was. I had 4 nieces and nephews on my husbands side. Luke (10), Lily(5), Leo(7), and Lucy(5months). They are the children of Ivan's oldest brother, Max. I had no idea they were coming but as soon as I know it they were running towards me. Max needed us to babysit for a week because him and his wife, Cindy are going on a business trip together. I was so excited to have them and gave him a hyper YES!
