Zhu Yunqing changed into the Dreamy Night Sky dress. It was a bit difficult to change into at first. In the end, she was able to put it on.

Outside the door of the changing room, she heard Wei Chujiu and the store worker voices. Wei Chujiu was asking for her whereabouts, which the store worker told her.

Zhu Yunqing heard the sounds of shoes clicking on the floor until it got closer to the changing room she was in.

The door to the changing room opened and revealed Zhu Yunqing with the deep blue gown subtly resting on her body like it was made just for her. The soft fabrics of the sleeveless dress gently hugged her upper body, accentuating her thin waist. The glittering stones on it further pronounced her fair skin. Her eyes which always seemed to add a unique and mysterious vibe to anything she wears were not left out.

She looked like a stunning delicate flower that just bloomed.

"Oh my goodness~ Qingqing. You look beautiful~ why don't you get it?" Wei Chujiu squealed in excitement.

Even the store worker was so captivated by how stunning Zhu Yunqing looked that she couldn't even utter a word. She just silently mouthed 'Wow!' for a long time.

Zhu Yunqing just stood there thinking whether she should believe what they were saying because she wasn't able to see herself fully in the changing room. There was only a small mirror in there. With it, she could barely even see the top of the dress fully.

Zhu Yunqing ran her hands across her bare shoulders. Her actions did not escape the eyes of Wei Chujiu, who suddenly had a glint in her eyes. She remembered seeing a piece of clothing earlier.

"Ah! I think I saw something perfect for this," Wei Chujiu said before disappearing into another section of the store.

After a few minutes, Wei Chujiu came out carrying a soft woolly white shawl in her hands. She walked behind Zhu Yunqing and draped the piece of clothing over her bare shoulders.

"Now, this looks perfect!" Wei Chujiu said with a smug smile. She was really happy that Zhu Yunqing had personally picked out such a stunning dress for herself. Unlike before, when Zhu Yanyu made all those horrible choices of clothes for Zhu Yunqing. Zhu Yanyu had successfully nearly made Zhu Yunqing into a shadow of herself. She was glad that Zhu Yanyu was no longer able to control Zhu Yunqing ever since Zhu Yunqing found out the truth.

Then Wei Chujiu pulled Zhu Yunqing to a nearby full-length mirror, "See~."

Zhu Yunqing could not believe that she could look this gorgeous, even to the extent that she could not compare her real looks to this one.

'Clothes really do make a person, huh!'

While Zhu Yunqing was admiring her looks in the mirror, Wei Chujiu instructed another store worker who had accompanied her to pick out clothes earlier to bring them forward. Then she shoved the entire bundle of clothes into Zhu Yunqing's hands and told her, "Try these on too!"

"All of them?!" Zhu Yunqing asked with widened eyes.

"Hmmm…," Wei Chujiu nodded.

Zhu Yunqing immediately had a tortured look on her face before dragging herself into the changing room.

After changing into all the outfits, Wei Chujiu selected for her. They picked out a few suitable clothes for Zhu Yunqing and continued their shopping in the other stores.

The next store they entered was a jewellery store. Immediately they entered the store, one of the store workers came forward to welcome them. Wei Chujiu had a few words with her before the store worker led her into one of their private rooms.

Wei Chujiu had ordered a few pieces of jewellery earlier, so the store worker just showed her the way to the private room. Zhu Yunqing, on the other hand, stayed back to look around a bit before joining Wei Chujiu.

As Zhu Yunqing looked around, she was quite impressed with how much more beautiful jewellery had come to be. Some were even more beautiful in their simple and unique designs, unlike the gaudy and heavy jewellery she had worn in her past life. Though she wasn't too eager to always dress up in them, yet she was always made to dress up in them as part of her ceremonial robe. If she had not been the Empress of BeiMing State, she was definitely not short on talents that could earn her a living.

She looked around a bit while longer until a piece of certain jewellery piqued her interest. It was an elegant interwoven platinum necklace attached to a tear-shaped black cherry amber pendant. It also came with a nice pair of teardrop earrings in the same colour as the necklace. The jewellery was made of simplicity and fine craftsmanship.

The Jewellery set only piqued her interest because it had the same shade of amber colour as Wei Chujiu's eyes. The jewellery set was a few paces from her. So, she moved closer to the display box to check it out. As she was about to signal the store worker to bring out the jewellery for her, a cool and calm voice sounded from behind her with an outstretched hand pointing at the exact Jewellery Zhu Yunqing had set her eyes on, "Wrap this up for me, please."

The store worker replied to the man behind Zhu Yunqing.
