19 Chapter 20 Fight with the beast

Elvis walked out of the basement in anger.
He almost collided with Mr. Grimes.
"Hey son your hands are bleeding". Mr. Grimes said.
"Not Mine". He replied.
"You went to torture her". Mr. Grimes asked with eyes opened.
"Of course, we're running out of time we're running out of time Dad". Elvis shouted.
"I know but we need to device another method , this girl isn't gonna talk if we continuing torturing her". Mr. Grimes said.
"So what? We let her go, we have a mighty weapon in our hands and we can't just throw it away". Elvis said.
"That's not what am talking about, i mean we should device a new way since the current one isn't working". Mr. Grimes said.
"What other way? What other way huh that stubborn girl isn't gonna
Speak". Elvis shouted.
"We need to be patient in tackling this". Mr. Grimes said.
"Patient till when, do you know that bitch challenged we hunters that we can't go after the Lycan but we brag we're hunters". Elvis said angrily.
Mr. Grimes was really shocked.
"Well she's saying the truth". Mr. Grimes said.
Elvis was really amazed by what his father just said.
"Father?". He said with eyes opened.
"That's why I was coming to tell you that we're going after the Lycan". Mr. Grimes said.
"Father what did you just say?". Elvis said.
"It's been a legacy since decades ago its our duty to hunt down supernatural creatures we ain't for werewolves alone". Mr.Grimes said.
"But dad this new beast is something else and not a werewolf, it's fast and dangerous". Elvis said.
"we ain't partial, we go after all supernatural creatures not minding their race or stature, Devina is playing with our weaknesses and that's true, we brag to be hunters then we go after the Lycan". Mr. Grimes said.
"Dad that girl, is using us to play games with the Lycan why she watches". Elvis said.
"Shut up son you're pathetically weak, i thought you were strong". He said angrily.
"The beast was sighted minutes ago breaking into Neptune lab, suit up or I'll be forced to take Sarah along". Mr. Grimes said walking away.
"Let Sarah be out of this please". Elvis begged.
"Then meet me up stairs".
NEPTUNE LAB ......
The entire place had been put to confusion as the beast went after the employees destroying what ever it came across.
Elena peeped out from the table she hid. She saw the huge beast looking around trying to get a scent.
She opened her bag gently and brought out the magnum revolver her father gave her after the kidnapping event so she can protect her self.
The beast kicked away a table and there was a woman shivering in fear with her two year old daughter.
The Lycan roared and made to grab them but Elena rose up and aiming for a head shot pressed the trigger but cos the beast hand was up it caught his arm instead.
"Graaagh!". The beast roared and turned at her.
Elena who knew her cover was busted took to her heels Running up the stairs.
The beast went after her jumping from one wall to another.
Elena closed the door swiftly and walked backwards, it scattered into pieces and the beast broke in. Elena turned swiftly to the corridor at the left and continued running running.
The beast took the broken door and threw it swiftly, it hits Elena's leg and she fell to the ground.
She looked back as the beast approached her with a rod.
"shit!". Elena cursed.
The beast flew up and made to smash her with the rod but she rolled away and the ground felt the impact instead which caused it to crack.
Elena stood up swiftly and kicked the side knee of the beast with all strength and it fell on it knees..
She flew on the beast with her legs around in and made to it head but was forced to make a back flip as the beast incoming rod almost stab her chest.
She landed on the ground and the beast turned back swiftly smashing the ground with it fists..
The vibration of the ground surface caused Elena to fall down and the beast raised the rod to stab her.
Gunshots were heard and bullets pierced into the beast back.
The beast turned back swiftly and hear was Elvis, Mr. Grimes and two more men.
Elena who taught it was the cops rose up swiftly and grabbing the rod forced it via the spinal cord into the beast stomach with all her strength.
The beast staggered forward as blood drip from it back while Elena rose up slowly, the extraordinary force she used to stab the beast had transformed her into a werewolf.
Her
Eyes were blue with fangs.
The hunters and Elena stared at each other and froze.
The hunters who had the opportunity to Take out the beast who was at the middle now instead aimed at the werewolf and shot sporadically.
Elena dived into the corridor at the right escaping the bullets.
Meanwhile Mr. Gomez who was in search of Elena after he heard that the beast was in the building.
He climbed up the stairs and saw four gun men above shooting at something.
He quickly recognized one as the same gun man he chased in the hospital.
Detective Gomez raised his gun to shot.
...
The beast who recovered in 5 seconds smashes the ground and it made a narrow crack hitting away the hunters who were bent on shooting the werewolf.
The hunters all fell and tumbled down the stairs hitting Mr. Gomez who was aiming, they all came crashing to the ground.
Elvis helped his father and they took to their heels with the two other men.
Mr. Gomez rose up swiftly and shot the last gun man as he closes the door.
He ran quickly to open the door but the other gun men kicked open the door and hit Detective Gomez on the chest buying time for Elvis and his father to escape.
He pointed his gun to detective Gomez.
"Here your Journey ends Gomez". He said.

Elena walked out of her hiding and shot repeatedly at the beast as it ran toward a window but that didn't stop it from breaking through the window.
Elena ran To the window and looked down, it was a great height as she saw the main road and cars moving to and Fro. But the beast was nowhere to be found.
She had gunshot down floor and she quickly ran down the stairs wondering where the hunters were.
She suddenly stopped as she saw a gun man pointing a gun to her father.
She aimed swiftly and shot his arm. The man left out a scream dropping his gun and detective Gomez handcuffed him immediately.
The other two cops ran there and Mr. Gomez handed over the man to him while the other called an ambulance.
Elena dropped her gun and ran down the stairs with tears.
She hugged her father tightly.
That was a narrow escape if she had delayed a second, her Dad would have been killed by now.
"Hope you weren't hurt". He asked.
"no. I ran up stairs". She said.
"Did you see the creature? I heard it ran to the other floor ". Mr. Gomez said.
"It's gone dad i saw it escaped through the window". Elena said.
"Thank God you're okay, i need to make sure it's not around and everyone is safe". Mr. Gomez said and made to leave.
"Am coming with you dad". Elena said.
"No no no not again, Stay here with the officers". Mr. Gomez said.
"But dad my Bag is there and the gun you gave me". She whispered.
"Just stay here with the officers I'll get it for you". Detective Gomez said and left.
LATER THAT DAY
Elena and Mr. Gomez alighted from the car with Mrs. Running toward them.
She hugged Elena tightly.
"oh my baby hope you're Alright ". Mrs. Gomez asked.
Elena nodded.
" You must be hungry. Your food is ready ". She said and Elena walked away.
Mrs. Gomez turned to her husband.
" Welcome ". She said.
" And what's that angry face for? ". Mr. Gomez asked taking his briefcase from the car.
"Why do you have to put our daughter in the line of work and you almost got her killed?". Mrs. Gomez said angrily.
"What are you saying? Is that why you couldn't even say a proper welcome". Mr. Gomez said.
"You almost got her killed on you seem not to care about it". Mrs. Elena said.
Elena whose ear already zoomed their voices turned back angrily.
"Mom, Dad stop this please, it's only a coincidence just like In the hospital, i only went there to say hi to dad he didn't take me there". Elena said walking toward Dad.
"Am sorry". Mrs. Gomez said wanting to collect his briefcase but he walked away angrily.
"i thought he took you there" ". Mrs. Gomez said with a worried face.
" It's okay mom but you should have asked but acting now you've gotten Dad to flare up ". Elena said.
" i was only worried about you. Don't worry I'll talk to him". Mrs. Gomez said.
Elena nodded.
7:30pm ....
....
Elena switched on her phone after closing her diary.
It took about one minute to boot before she then input her password.
She tried Silvia's number and it was same thing.
She had sent a voice mail but she hadn't replied yet.
Elena then remembered she also had Maggie's number so she called it. It Rang and rang but no one received the call.
"I just hope everything is going well". Elena thought.
She then sent a voice mail.
"Hello Maggie, am trying to get in touch with Silvia but it's not going through, there's a big problem and we need you guys. There's a beast in town and I suspect it's a Lycan".
Elena replied some of the messages she had on WhatsApp and made to drop the phone when a notification popped in, she wanted swipe it away but when she saw it was a voice message from Maggie her joy knew no bound. She played it quickly.
"Hi Elly WOLF we've seen the God forsaken beast on the TV and we're On our way".
"Oh my God". Elena exclaimed.
Just hearing Maggie's voice gave her joy even though she didn't speak much the assurance of their arrival was enough.
Her phone rang and it was Rick calling. What did he want this night?
"Hello".
"I need your help Elena, i tried saving some people from the beast and now it's after me...am heading to the school now". She heard rick voice and it became cracky until it disconnected by it self.
Elena jumped out of the bed and changed her cloth from a night gown to a Black jacket and a black trouser.
She removed the ribbon holding her hair and it scattered all over her face.
She looked the door of her room and flew out through the window.
She started running with full speed heading for the school.
She wasn't getting tired as her legs moved swiftly than ever, she got to the school and saw nothing.
She walked stealthily looking around.
She Then sighted the shadow of something by her side.. She almost scream but turning back she saw that it was only the concrete logo in front of her school.
She heard a step and fear pounder her hear, she turned back slowly and saw that was only a fallen fruit.
She continued moving as her heart pointed.
She heard a crow and the shadow of an image moving at her from the back.
She turned back slowly to met the worst but it was only a frog on a tree whose shadow was casted on the ground by the moon.
She heard an incoming roar and shortly Rick ran out of school with the huge beast following from behind.
Elena jumped from her position and made to stab the beast as she transformed but it hits her away with its claw and she fell to the ground.
Rick turned swiftly throwing his boomerang but the beast hit it back and he dived away dodging it.
MEANWHILE ...
TOM'S RESIDENCE ..
Peace work up from her horrible nightmare and began to feel something moving all over her body.
She switched on to light and there her husband was, already in deep sleep, she got down from the bed and headed for the bathroom.
She washed her face and made to leave when she noticed that her eyes had an orange colour.
She moved closer to the mirror trying to be sure when she felt her body shifting and twisting .
She tried to conceal the pain until fangs grew out forcefully out of her mouth and she let out a loud scream.
Mr. Tom was woken up by the scream, he checked his side and discovered Peace wasn't there.
He got down from the bed and headed for the bathroom.
The pressed the knob down, opening the door.
He almost screamed out seeing sprinkle of blood all over the place and the window frame had been detached. And then his wife wasn't there.
S.H.S .......
.......
Elena and Rick crawled backward as the Lycan moved toward them.
Elena had blood flowing down her injured hand while Rick had his chest with two thick line of blood.
"Vooom! Voom!". The sound of a bike could be heard far away.
A Suzuki bike could be seen riding there with its diverged ray of light from the headlight shinning on the beast face.
A missile from nowhere hit the beast away and it crashed unto they ground and struggled to get up.
Elena's eye drifted to the incoming bike.
Maggie jumped out of the bike with a rocket launcher which was emitting smoke cos of the the missile just shot from it.
Silvia increased the speed of the bike as it entered the compound.
She did a back flip from it removing her two guns as she transformed into an Alpha werewolf.
The bike with it full speed hits the beast and it fell back to the ground.
It groans standing up again, It used own hand to grab the bike holding it.
Silvia rose up slowing with her gun and her red eyes could be seen.
Her claws sprang out immediately.
The Lycan and the Alpha charged at each other furiously.
