197 Seduction

"What do you mean by that?" he asked. 

"What I mean?"

"You said Luc is the second most handsome man you have seen in Querencia," he said. "Then who is the first?"

"You, or who?" I shrugged.

Was it not obvious? He was someone who was well aware of his own attractiveness. I did not think he would even ask me this. 

"Ah, that's right. It's me," he chuckled. 

He was behaving like a child right now. But it was kind of endearing. I wondered if he was anxious that I would say it was not him. I wished I had teased him a little more.

After our dinner, the servants started to clean the place up. Dem usually worked all the time, except for the nights. So, we rarely had dinner or breakfast together. He must have a lot of work to do now as well. So, I did not want to hold him back anymore. He was sparing enough time for me already.
