The moment I transition, I feel it. It is different from the usual transformation. My bones don't break, the skin on my body doesn't split open to accommodate my fur. The pain is not as it has been all the other times I have changed today. I don't even pay attention to Jules as I shift into the form he wanted me to. Everything comes to play as I get on my knees as a loud howl escapes my lips. 

My eyes dart to Jules, he has a smile on his face. I don't know what he sees when he looks at me. Is this what he was expecting?

I look at my hands, they are still human. The only difference is the heavy fur around them, my nails are sharper, now turned into claws. I don't remember what happened when I changed with my altercation with Fallon. Now I am self-conscious of everything that is happening. I will remember this even after I turn later on.
