3 Chapter 2: The Weird People

With everyone taking turns to carry him, Jordus now knew that he weighs about as much as a sack of bricks. It creates no small amount of embarrassment, but hey beggars can't be choosers so Jordus tries to position himself so that his carrier would have an easier time hauling his ass.

Luckily the mesmerizing and almost mystical foliage around the area did alleviate some discomfort that he felt. Furthermore, there are all manners of mysterious creatures that cross paths as the group travel. It was a surreal feeling for a guy like Jordus as he can only see these creatures through some type of screen...not that he remembered what that screen was.

There are awkward half-naked monkeys acting shy and blushing up atop the trees. While in the distance a bipedal looking horse was flexing its torso as it looked at its reflection next to a pond, while at the side a few fat looking donkeys neigh in delight.

Occasionally, Jordus also sees some relatively 'normal' animals like the neon toad, a blood rabbit, or an occasional bald muscle duck that flexes at everything.

-----------------

After a few hours, the group finally made it back to a poor excuse of a village, or if you can even call it that since most of the 'huts' are made with 3 sticks holding up a giant leaf. No wonder these people treated him like a god, that ball he arrived in is far beyond their understanding, furthermore he also has a tail instead of horns like them.

With a quick scan of the entire 'village' Jordus can estimate that there are roughly about 60 people. The adults and elders seem normal enough, but the creatures that he assumed are the children are so different from their grown counterparts it's almost unimaginable.

They are a mass of bipedal goop, that is the most that he can say about them. Literally a puddle of water that learns how to walk, except inside of them are visible 'normal' looking organs. Some of them would occasionally fall down and the parents had to push the splattered goop back together to form the whole 'child'. It was a ridiculous sight to behold. There are even some couples that held on to a big bowl that contain what he presumed is their baby.

Jordus wanted to say something but decided that he would take a quick nap first before doing anything. With the extreme amount of stimulus that bombarded him since he woke up and the long amount of time that it took to travel to the village, baby Jordus is tired.

So with that mindset, Jordus wiggle his way out from the embrace of the lady holding him and find a comfortable spot to sleep. Spotting a piece of soft looking material Jordus wobbled his way over to it before falling down into deep sleep.

--------------

Jordus woke-up after a good 10 hours of sleep, to the stare of everyone from the village.

This caused him to flinch in surprise when he first looked around, but decided that these people are just weird, they pray to him in their first meeting for god sake.

From his stomach a loud roar of protest made itself known, now that he finally realized it, Jordus was absolutely famished.

"Can I get-, Ah right they don't understand English." With exaggerated hand motions, Jordus acted out that he was hungry by pointing at his wide open mouth while using his other hand to rub his belly.

While he was not really sure of what water people eat, he sure hoped that pointing at his mouth and rubbing the stomach is a universal sign of hunger.

Be it luck or that the people truly understood the message, some villagers separated from the group and after a little bit brought back some fruits, roots and some container that held presumably water.

Seeing the spread before him, Jordus jumped at the small pile of fruits and roots. 'This is some good stuff...too bad that there is no meat but that's fine too. I don't think water people eat meat either...anyway this is some really good fruit, like what the hell is this thing even made of.'

It barely took a blinking amount of time before everything was consumed, but when Jordus looked towards the container full of liquid, there were some apprehension about drinking it, since from what he has seen, the villagers are made of 100% water, well accept the adults but still.

'Is this like their dead brethren or something?' Even though Jordus eyed the container suspiciously, he still ended up chugging the entire thing. Water is the number one essential for all biological creatures in more ways than one after all, might as well drink it first and regret it later.

Feeling his hunger alleviate somewhat, Jordus stood up to thank the villagers. After all, these people are awesome since they sheltered him and even fed him, it was the least he could do.

Just as he was about to thank his hospitable hosts, a few ugly looking bipedal toads stomp heavily towards the village.
