Chapter 14 : Vulnerable to temptation
Alex found the elders on the veranda quietly staring at him approaching,
he was already sitting when the old man suddenly spoke, "we found out what happened to you and Catalina in the next few days her wedding. With a calmed voice."
"We thought you were coming home to prevent the marriage,to fight for your love for her,but we were even more surprised,when you brought the woman home and introduced her to us as your wife, when you got married without letting us know? old woman uttered in a high tone, can be seen the anger on her face.
His family knows about his relationship with Catalina,b because he has brought her to the villa several times,He knows the reason they are angry, because she is going to marry his cousin, Dan's father is his father's half brother, his grandfather got impregnated Dan's grandmother, she is their made at that time, she make her Grandfather drunk during the time his Grandmother and father were in vacation in the Philippines.
the old man announced then, that the first grandson would inherit his share in the company, his share is not just forty percent, almost half of the share in the company is under his grandfather. the current runner of the company is his father and his uncle, it's Dan's father.
Alex had the idea already that his family knows that Catalina is pregnant.
"How many years have you been her boyfriend! you didn't even get her pregnant? asked the old man who was staring at him." Not because he did not want the child to be born to her. it was because he did not want the father was Dan the grandson of the woman who did everything just to destroy their relationship with his wife.
Alex was just listening quietly, he admitted that he was hurt by Catalina's marriage to his cousin, not because of Dan is marrying her, that was because he loved Catalina. he doesn't care about the inheritance, he was hurt because of the love he had to Catalina, that causes him pain in his heart.
He also knew that the old man's illness was just a pretext, for him to go home,Alex's parents was silenced, they are just listening. this incident is not new to them, Catalina just became vulnerable to temptation, at the time Alex's parents were also lovers, Dan's father also tried to kidnap his mother to his father.
They were in the middle of a conversation when an SUV arrived and saw Catalina and Dan get out of the car,
The old man ordered Alex to enter his room and wait for his call before leaving the room, the old man did not want to see Alex hurt, the old man admitted that Alex was his beloved and favorite grandson .
Alex is the only heir to all of his property, no one else knows but only his beloved wife, the share in the company is less than half of all of his wealth no one knows even his children, but only his wife.
Alex got up and went straight into his room before the newcomers could approach. he found Diane in the room lying on the bed and sleeping, he went near to her and stared at her gentle face covered by the strands of her hair, and her body curled under the quilt,she is tempted to caress its smooth face, which you can see has never been abused in the use of make up, one of its arms appears the quilt is pinned to its armpit, its arms are very smooth, obviously not experiencing heavy work as well as its little fingers.
Alex was confused when he noticed that the woman was moving and hid the exposed arm under the quilt. Alex quickly entered the bathroom, thinking that she would suddenly wake up and catch him staring at her,He took off his clothes, he opened the shower, he soaked his self underneath of the shower, to calm himself in the warmth of seeing the woman's smooth face and arm, he admits that he is attracted to the woman.
He finished taking a bath when he noticed that he did not have any clothes. He hurriedly entered the bathroom, he was used of going inside Of Not carrying clothes, everytime his going inside of the bathroom, but the situation is different now.
