Chapter 11: He cooked for her

Diane woke up with a dark surroundings, the only one that gives light is the moonlight that penetrates the glass window, she take her cellphone under her pillow, this is her habit, every time she goes to sleep,She always put the cellphone under the pillow, to make it easier for her to find,

she look the time in her phone, it was already seven o'clock in the evening, her sleep was prolonged, she felt her stomach growled, sHe quickly got up when she remembered her duties as a housewife, she went into the bathroom to wash her face.

when she came out of the bathroom, she went straight to the door of her room to go out, she saw the lampshade in the living room was on, she was just at the entrance of the kitchen door and she could already inhale the delicious smell that came from it, the Smell of a delicious dish cooked inside the kitchen was mouthwatering.

She felt even hungrier by the smell, She finally entered the kitchen, when she noticed Alex wearing an apron and flipping the steak he was cooking,

He notices her entering.

"hi wifey! you're awake? He said, with smile and proudness in his face. She feels her heartbeat skipped a bit, when she heard what he call her and his face was happy and smiling at her, she was out of word." She just smiled in response.

"you are hungry for sure? give me ten minutes, I will finish it he said smiling at her.

She regained her senses, she ask him how can she help? he told her to just wait for him at the dining table. but because she was not moving yet and like a fool who was just staring at him, he approached her and held her by the shoulder and turned her around, pushing her into the dining room and making her sit on a chair.

"just stay here,and relax don't do anything else, he said and left her sitting still," she's dumbfounded, she really can't believe what she sees and what happens ,knowing that she is must be the one cooking food for him.

After two minutes he came out from the kitchen, he was holding plate and cutlery, sHe would have stood up to help him but he spoke."please stay where you are let me do all. this things for you."

she was especially stunned. in what he said, SHe try herself to calmed down and remained seated until he brought all the dishes he cooked to the table, he maid a grilled steak with mashed potatoes, corn soup, and Caesar salad.

She smiled at the preparations, it could not deny that he was a chef cook ,

"Come on dig in, tell me how's the taste? if I can past in your taste my wifey." His looking at her, waiting for her reaction.

here we go again the way he calls me my heart flattered, I can't deny I'm going to fall in love to you, I said to myself, once glancing at him smiling, as she take a bite. "Hmmm yummy! How do you learned to cook,? Did you attend classes or is this really the course you are taking in college? "

"In fact, I have two bestfriend in college, all of us and take on business management, but because my family's business is a restaurant, so I learned to cook, as well as my friends who studied, but I actually went to a culinary course."

"where are your friends,?"

"After the graduation,they have returned to there country, my news, Is that, one of my friends who was the richest among us was holds his father's company, his managing all the asset's of his family he's really smart, his always telling us that his doing those hardship because of her childhood sweetheart, that he promise to marry! and the other one has established his own company."

"Woww for sure his childhood sweetheart was very lucky."

"Yes she is indeed, hopefully they will meet soon."

"Want to ask more, his glanced on her while putting a salad on her plate, eat more I made it all for you."

"yes, why then you do not have kitchen utensils?what Inside the fridge is only full of water and wine, include the egg as well. She asked him one after another."

He smiled looking at her, and suddenly replied, "Because you have never been in my life before."
