319 Ran Off Somewhere

Yun Shu arrived at her mother's home at night.

When she arrived, her grandmother and Uncle Zhou were not at home. Yun Shu entered the house and found her mother in the living room. The house was dark and only the light at the corner of the room was lit on.

Her heartbeat accelerated upon seeing the scene in front of her, thinking that something might happen to her mother.

She took a step forward cautiously and called, "Mom?"

Xu Yuan looked up upon hearing her daughter's voice. Their gazes met and Xu Yuan flashed a smile at her daughter. "You are here."

It was then that Yun Shu could heave a breath of relief. She walked over to her mother and looked her up and down. "Mom, what's going on? Why are you sitting here alone in the dark?"

Xu Yuan looked out the window and realized that the sky has turned dark. "No. I was just thinking of something. I didn't realize that it was already dark."
