MEMORY: A Roommate's Duty; a Friend's Choice (Part 1)

After two hours of swinging and twirling, stepping and counting, I walked back to the dorm from the F. Alejandro Bldg., still clad in a white shirt and red jogging pants. It gets dark as early as five in the afternoon, and I had no intention of lingering in the said building a minute longer. Thankfully, P.E. was the last class for the day. Today was also my last P.E. class for the year.

My dormmates filled the TV area, chatting about the upcoming Lantern Parade when I walked past them. Said parade was an annual school event showcasing Christmas lanterns made by different colleges. I also heard that some bands and guest singers will be performing in the show.

When I reached the door of room 21B, I stopped for a moment, sensing my roommate was inside. I’d learned not to barge in all of a sudden since I caught her crying to a John Lloyd and Bea movie a few days ago. I haven’t watched it even once, but I knew it was a love story with lots of drama.
