60 Chapter - 60 [ Vampire Monarch! ]
Everyone was feeling less patient as it's been a while since the king entered the ancestral temple. As the old man who helped Vesta was about to open the door to see if he was successful, something happened that made all of the vampires shiver.
The whole of the ancestral temple began to glow with a red sheen and to their horror, a heavy pressure appeared making their blood and skin boil like water and melt like candles. Following the pressure, the red glow expanded as six wings like, or mirror like six red Wings opened covering the entire city. Even the moon, which was shining red was less attractive compared to the light from the temple and the six wings.
Then as the old man was about to try and resist the pressure and go inside, a voice destroying the ears of even the strongest among them was heard.
"It's been so long since I've been here...." The voice was filled with dignity and power, also it seemed like the voice of an old man. Not knowing who the other person was, thinking it was a stranger, the old man asked with an angry expression,
"Who are you..!? This is our ancestral temple! Get out!"
Even the others, who heard the old man's words nodded their heads and agreed with him. But the voice became a little raged as he asked,
"So my descendants became so arrogant that they forgot their own ancestor and even began to order him around...?"
These words shocked them!
If what the voice said is true, then, was he their ancestor? No. How can their ancestor be still alive..?

Inside the temple, Damon and the girls were listening to Adam's words and acting. In fact even Damon felt like he was really their ancestor. But his face paled when he felt something.
As Adam asked the old man about being ignorant about their ancestor, the old man was about to ask what evidence he had. To the horror of even Damon and Lucia, Adam promptly transformed into a vampire. His hair and eyes were still the same, but the air around him changed. Then, he released his Vampire blood aura to its full power, which smashed all even Damon, Lucia, and Jace to the ground forcibly.
As he was focused on acting, he didn't see that his aura also affected them. So it caused Damon to think again about his earlier doubt.
At the same time outside of the room, the others felt an overpowering aura, smashing all of them to the ground. It was making the weaker ones to faint, under magic king level beings to even spit blood, they couldn't hide their fear. Who was capable of controlling them like this..? Only their king or ancestor was! And now that their king is dead, there is only one answer.
Feeling dread, the old man said loudly, "This servant greets the Ancestor!" Following him, others said the same. Now they all had a lot of questions. Didn't the ancestor die..? Why did he come back..?
However their all doubts were stopped when Adam, now acting as the Ancestor of vampires said with Authority,
"Raise..!"
They all still kneeled, but raised their head and looked at the temple in reverence. Adam continued,
"I've found that, my great descendant, Damon was killed by one of his own kind. I would have allowed the one who killed my descendant to be the new ruler if it was his strength. However, I found that he was helped by someone from outside. Thus he successfully killed my descendant."
These words made others look shocked. But then they all nodded as they too wondered how it was possible to defeat a veteran Magic king with only a weakling. Even if he was a magic king, he was still far from an experienced ruler.
"As I found him, working with the outside force, I punished him."
Saying so, Adam forcibly threw Vesta's body through the front door. Seeing the body, everyone knew it was vesta. But they ignored him as Adam continued.
"As vampires, we are people with strength and pride, and in the case of future dealings, you need someone to guide you. As your lord is already gone, you need a new king. As for his offspring, they two are fine little girls. But as they ran when found in a problem, and even fled to another place, I found them unworthy of this position. However her thoughts were stopped when she remembered her king, Damon was still alive but was told by the ancestor that he was dead. So she now had one answer. Adam was most likely behind all this! This thought made her shocked as she never thought Adam would do something like this. As she was about to refuse, she heard Adam's voice which was now an old rough,
"Do not waste time. The sacred twin moon ray is about to fade. Enter the temple."
She sighed internally before walking through the large door. After her leave, the door closed by itself. The others could only wait now.

Inside the temple, Adam released a tired sigh, but was asked by Damon,
"Adam... Are you a human..? I feel like you truly are our ancestor."
This made Adam surprised as he knew his aura would be a strong factor for this little act. But he never thought even Damon would be fooled by it.
"Do you really think your son-in-law is your ancestor...?" Hearing his question, Damon could only gulp. Making the heavy atmosphere leave, Glare who entered the temple locked at Adam and others for an explanation.
Although he explained everything shortly, Glare nodded in understanding as she said, "I see. If that's what they desire, it isn't my place to ask anything. Besides, you have already announced it. So I will accept this responsibility gratefully. But you know that I am not strong enough to control all of the vampires, right..?"
Adam nodded. "I know. That's why we are going to make you a proper ruler." His words confused the others as they don't know what he meant. Smiling at their confusion he pointed at the magic circle created by the devil and said, "We are going to make your blood strong enough to control them."
His words were easy to say. They couldn't believe his words. How can they believe it..? Was it really possible to change their bloodline..? However they decided to wait.
"Go and sit in the middle of the circle and feel everything that's going to happen to you. No matter what, you shouldn't resist this. If you do, this will become dangerous, okay..?" Adam asked. Glare took a few seconds before nodding. She walked towards the centre and sat in the middle.
Adam activated the magic circle he learned from the devil, and changed its properties from, sucking soul force to sucking blood energy, and from empowering strength to empowering body and blood. As a catalyst, he used their sacred light, which consists of gamma rays and an unknown energy. As gamma rays are considered radiative, it could be that, the rays are mutating their cells. And with the help of this unknown energy, it does not affect them in a negative way.
As he activated the circle, Adam saw the moonlight touching the circle, burning and fogging. It doesn't seem to be hurting the waiting Glare. As she was still sitting with closed eyes, she didn't notice anything.
Understanding it is because of his modification, he immediately cut his wrist before pouring his blood like a waterfall. Seeing this, Damon, Lucia and jace tried to call out to him. However seeing him smile at them without any sign of tiredness, they waited.
During this time, Jace only shook her head when she saw his blood. That wasn't for the other three. As someone who already tasted his blood, Glare was about to go berserk when Adam said, "If you can endure it, I will make sure to satisfy your needs, whatever it is." Since he already told Jace to do whatever she wanted, he wasn't going to stop anymore.
Hearing his words, her heart thumped heavily as a fluttering feeling immediately took over her. But deciding to hold back, she gritted her teeth before concentrating back in the ceremony.
Both Damon and Lucia were in turmoil as well. As a magic king , Damon was able to hold himself back. But that wasn't how for Lucia. Just as she smelled the aromatic and strong blood, her calm personality changed as she tried to pounce on Adam. However stopping her sister, Jace hugged her body before whispering something in her ears. Her whole being just became cute like a meek kitten when she heard her sister's words.
Although he felt a huge problem heading his way, he decided to be forward with his desires. So he focused on this process for now.
His blood was absorbed by the circle, but immediately thereafter, a crimson red light shone from the circle before hiding the entire figure of Glare. Then without even having to wait for even a second, the red light that covered her broke like egg shells, as a heavy aura began to explode inside the temple.
Sensing a familiar sensation, Damon said with disbelief, "Impossible! She directly advanced to Magic King..!? And this aura..! It's even stronger than me!"
This made the girls look at Adam in disbelief as well. Damon wanted to ask a lot of questions. However knowing this isn't the correct time, he focused on what was in front of him.
Opening her eyes, Glare was shocked by the changes in her. Her hair changed from a mix of black and brown hair to golden blonde and her orange eyes were now purple. Sensing her own power, she couldn't hide her shock as she turned towards Adam looking for an explanation.
At this time, even Adam was surprised, as he was only trying to make her blood stronger, but it made her stronger by leaps bound. He checked her status.

His words made her heart thump again. But not lifting her body from the ground, she looked at Adam and said, "Please let me serve you!"
Adam was expecting this. He was about to refuse. However, Glare said, "I said a lot of things and even offended you. But here you made me something I never thought to be, I don't deserve this. If I am forced into this position, then let me serve you. I don't have anything other than myself to repay you."
Adam could only sigh. He wanted to say he was not doing this for anything, but knowing it would come back to bite him, he sighed once again before asking, "Are you sure, your highness..? You are a queen now. If you serve someone, it will destroy your dignity."
Shaking her head, Glare responded, "If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have been like this. So no matter who says it, I am not ashamed, but I feel proud of my decision! Also, please call me Glare, my Master."
He nodded. "Very well. But just to let you know, I am not in need of any subordinates. So I won't treat you as such. If it's as a friend, I don't mind. So just raise your head. Go out and lead them all, Glare." He said with a smile. Glare's smile bloomed. She then walked towards and left to deal with her kind.
Adam turned towards Damon and the girls and asked, "Shall we go..?"
