Chapter 77 Wall Finished

The next morning John woke up, his head on something soft and warm. John opened his eyes and saw Victoria looking down at him as she played with his hair. John had his head rested on Vivtoria's naked chest.

John smiled up at her before he moved to kiss her smooth lips. Kissing her for a couple minutes, John nibbled on her lip gently, then he backed away and sat up holding Victoria. John looked around before he asked, "Where is everyone?"

Victoria smiled at John before she said, "You have been working so hard, honey. They wanted you to rest for a while."

John smirked as he said, "If anyone knows best about my stamina it's you girls."

Victoria blushed as she giggled, covering her mouth with her hand. She said, "Ara, Ara. Your such a bully."

John kissed her quickly before he said, "You love me for it."

Victoria smiled as she hugged John, she then got up and began to dress. She gave John quite the show, reminding once again of how curvy she is.

John got dressed as well after she finished her show. Victoria watched John get dressed as she licked her lips. John was now wearing a white t-shirt, a gray jean jacket, gray jeans, and some grey shoes.

They walked out of the room holding hands. They walked around for a while spending some time alone. John sweet talking and flirting with her, Victoria was a giggling machine.

They walked over to the rest of their family after an hour. Victoria walked over to the ladies, while John walked over to his kids. They were all sitting down on the ground playing with blocks or dolls. Judith was also sitting their with them, John pulled a camera out of his pocket and took some pictures. John then put his camera away alongvwith the pictures.

John sat down on the ground and played with the kids. After about 20 minutes Sarah came running over and grabbed his hand. Sarah then dragged John off to play tag. John ran around playing tag and going slow enough that the kids would be able to catch him.

John played around with the kids for a while before he walked away, looking for Carl. When John arrived at Carl he saw that he was talking with Molly. John nodded at Molly before he said, "Follow me Carl. We have training to do."

Carl nodded before he said bye to Molly. He followed John to the corner of the yard where John had set up a training area. John then said, "Get ready." Carl immediately got into a stance, John saw this and advanced forward.

John put Carl on the ground in seconds, then he had Carl set up again before he rushed at him again. This continued for 4 hours and Rob had also joined in when he noticed them.

In the end, Rob and Carl were on the ground sweat dripping from them as they breathed heavily. John walked away leaving them to recover as he walked over to his kids and patted their heads before he joined his ladies. Merle came over 10 minutes later holding a mug of beer, he handed it to John before he immediately left.

John took a sip of the ice cold beer and savored the flavor. Alicia came over and took a sip as well. John shouted at Merle, "This is pretty good." John the enjoyed his beer as he sat with his family. John then walked over to Rick and asked, "How's our progress on the wall?"

Rick said, "The wall is almost complete, should be done within the next few days. The men have already stopped cutting more material and are all working on the actual wall."

John nodded and said, "We have come so far, huh? Double D."

Rick sighed as he said, "I thought you had forgotten about that by now."

John laughed before he said, "Nope. I don't forget." John and Rick then stood side by side as they looked beyond the fence. The amount of room they had would quadruple when the fence had been finished. John then walked off as he went to his family. John finished his beer as he watched everyone interact with each other.

It had been a few days since John's talk with Rick. John had spent everyday with his family, he would wake up early in the morning and train Carl and Rob for a couple hours. Then he would spend the rest of the day with his family.

John was sitting with his family before Rick came over to him. Rick said, "The wall is done, all that's left is to comb through the whole are and clear any walkers still within." John nodded with a smile before he stood up and walking with Rick out of the front gate.

A group of other joined them, along with all the workers meaning around 80 people were walking around. They spread out and started to comb through the entire area. They spent around 6 hours combing through the entire area, while they were doing that, John walked through the woods that were inside of the wall.

When John reached the wall, he climbed a tree before he jumped over the wall. Landing on the other side, John unsheathed his sword cutting down trees that were near the wall. John cut down all the trees within a 100 foot area from the wall. Making it a little harder for any invaders to get in.

John then used the wall as a step, before he vaulted over the wall. John then some instant traps and placed them all along the fence in the woods. John then posted many signs on trees, warning of the traps.

John then ran back to the prison where the rest of the clearing group was waiting. John nodded to them, before he walked up to Rick and whispered in his ear. John whispered, "I put traps along the wall in the wooded area, there are also signs to warn people."

Rick nodded and then John walked away. John headed into the courtyard and gathered his family before he brought them out of the front gate. John then showed them the new area that they could use, his family smiled happily. They then went for a walk, taking their time. Sarah got tired after a while so John scooped her up and they continued their walk as Sarah slept on John's shoulder.

The babies were also sleeping as it had already been a long day. They continued to walk a little while longer before they headed back to the prison. They then walked through the front gate and through the yard before they entered the administration building.

Walking into their room, John lay Sarah on the bed and the women put Joey, Cassy, and Charlie. They then lay down on the bed and have some fun before they go to sleep. John lay his head upon Maggie as he held her close.
