71 Chapter 71 Terminus

John let Carl drive for a about the same amount of time as Rob, before he had him stop and switch with him. Carl reluctantly switched seats.

John said, "Okay, how about this, guys. I'll let you drive the whole way back. Each of you can drive for half the time." Carl and Rob cheered as they really enjoyed driving.

John decided to show them what his beauty could really do. He said, "Hold on, I'm gonna show you what this baby can do." John then switched gears like a pro and stomped on the accelerator. The tires span for a couple seconds, producing a squealing sound, the burnt rubber being smelled through the windows.

The car then shot forward; within seconds they were down the street. They were like a fucking bullet as they barreled down the street. Carl and Rob yelled in excitement as they looked around and saw everything moving past them quickly. They were currently going 150 mph, but John slowed down slowly as then settled back to 40 mph. Carl and Rob looked at John with shining eyes and said, "That was freaking insane."

John smiled as they turned down a road and came to the train tracks where the other group was cutting apart shipping containers for materials. John hopped out of the car and Carl and Rob followed him looking at the cool equipment. They had never seen something like this in person, the shipping containers being cut, and the big steel sheets being moved onto a huge truck.

John said, "Carl, Rob. Be careful around here. This work can be very dangerous so make sure you stay away from the work area." Carl and Rob nodded as they walked off to look around some more.

John walked over to one of the Androids who was acting as the supervisor. John asked, "How long will it take for all the materials to be ready?"

The Androids eyes flashed for a second before it said, "It will take approximately 2 weeks to gather all the materials, given the current speed we are cutting and moving material." John nodded and talked some more with the Android before he walked over to his car. Carl and Rob saw this and came running over, Rob said, "Are we leaving already?"

John shook his head before he said, "No, I am going to look for another truck that can transport materials. I'm going to walk down the tracks and see where I end up."

Carl said excitedly, "Let us come, won't you?" Rob nodded and looked at John expectantly.

John said, "Not this time you see those signs, with the map on them."

Rob said, "What about 'em."

John said, "They have a map to a place called Terminus. When I went out to the veterinary college we heard about the place on the radio. I'm gonna go and scope the place out. They might be hostile and if they are I don't want you two there."

Carl said, "Ahh, come on, John. What if we just stayed behind you?"

John sighed before he said, "No it's too dangerous and your father would never agree. I am responsible for you while out here after all." John also pulled out his Remington 700 and an M4 assault rifle. John put the guns over his shoulder, as Carl and Rob tried to convince John, but he ignored their pleas.

Sighing John gave his car keys to Rob and said, "You guys can drive around here while I am away. Please be careful with her or else." John's eyes glowed for a second and Carl and Rob almost peed their pants as they saluted hurriedly and said "Sir, yes Sir!" John nodded at this and closed his trunk.

John then started walking down the tracks. John continued forward, taking out any walker that came up to him. When he was out of view John summoned a dirt bike and started to ride down the tracks. John drove forward for about 20 minutes but he stopped when he heard a yell in the woods. The unknown voice yelled, "HELP!" John decided to see what it was, if it was some random asshole, he would ignore it but if not, John would save them.

John left his bike there as he walked into the woods, walking leisurely through the bushes and dodging tree limbs. John eventually saw a man on to of a tree with 5 walkers standing underneath. John observed the man and saw he was wearing a priest's uniform. Sighing John pulled his sword out of its sheath, then he walked over to the walker and cut them all down with one swing.

John looked up at the man, the man looked at John with fear. John said, "Come on down." The priest nodded as he awkwardly jumped down from the tree. The priest landed on one of the bodie so he immediately stepped off and bent down before he hurled all over the ground. The priest then stood up and said, "Thank you. I'm Gabriel"

John nodded then said, "Any weapons on you?"

Gabriel chuckled then said, "Do I look like I would have any weapons?"

John said, "Looks can be decieving."

Gabriel said, "I have no weapons of any kind. The only protection I need is the lords."

John said, "That was working pretty well for you, huh?"

Gabriel said, "I called for help, help came... Do you have any food? Whatever I had left just hit the ground."

John handed Gabriel some gummy worms. Gabriel said, "Thank you. Do you have a camp."

John said, "No, do you?"

Gabriel said nervously, "I-I have a church."

John stared at him close, while Gabriel fidgeted nervously. John said, "Hold your hands above your head." John then frisked him, but he found no weapons at all, only some prayer beads.

John looked at Gabriel and said, "How many walkers you killed?

Gabriel answered, "Not any, actually."

John said, "How many people you killed?

Gabriel said, "None."

John said, "Why?"

Gabriel said, "Because the Lord abhors violence."

John said, "What have you done then?"

Gabriel said, "I am a sinner. I sin almost every day, but those sins. I confess them to God and him alone."

John looked at him for a while before he said, "You said that was the last of your food. What will you do now?"

Gabriel said, "I have taken all the food from around my area. I don't know what I will do."

John said, "Follow me." John then led Gabriel to the train track and said, "Walk this way for 10 miles and you will see some of my people. Say John sent you and they will shelter you."

Gabriel nodded and "Thank you for your help. Where will you go?"

John said, "I have to scout another group, they may be hostile."

Gabriel nodded before he started to walk down the tracks. John hopped on his bike and continued down the tracks. Going 30 miles per hour due to the terrain, John arrived near Terminus. Looking at the Map, John saw around 60 yellow dots and some blue dots that were split up and in groups of around 6.

John got off his bike and stored it in Eden. John ran over to the woods, and started to run through the woods, heading straight for terminus. John arrived at the edge of the woods, arriving in front of a fence, this fence overlooked the whole Terminus compound. John looked through his scope and saw that some walkers had started piling up un the fence.

A walker came over to John and he casually stabbed it. Suddenly he remembered how Carol had destroyed this place in the original. John looked down at the walker, then he cut open its stomach and began to smear its blood and guts all over himself. John summoned an incendiary round magazine for his sniper. John switched the magazine quickly and shot at the propane tank that was conveniently located right next to the fence.

John aimed at it and shot once hitting the propane tank, causing it to explode. The walkers in the area immediately began to shamble into the compound. Some people were trying to defend the place, shooting at the walkers. They sucked at shooting though, as they kept hitting the chest and very rarely the head. John shot at the people defending the place, aiming for the head.

Their heads were set on fire as they fell to the ground. John swapped clips and started to shoot more of the defenders. John killed 5 men who were on top of the roof, the men fell off the roof and onto the ground with a dull thud. John then put his sniper back on his shoulder as he walked down the hill he was on and went towards Terminus.

John walked towards the compound with dirt and grime all over him, walking through the horde of walkers. John lifted his M4 and shot at any person who dared to try and defend the place. Popping head or piercing heart as he made his way towards the compound. Some walkers were attracted by the sound of John's suppressed M4, but John punched them in the face before he walked through the crowd and camouflaged himself in the group.

Walking through the broken fence John walked to one of the buildings and took partial cover. John then aimed his M4 at some people who were shooting at the walkers. John aimed for the legs and watched as they were torn apart. John then walked into the building through the door next to him.

Walking inside John was greeted by a room filled with candles. John walked through but he was stopped by an old woman. The woman said, "Turn around, I want to see your face."

John turned around at smirked at the woman. John said, "You never stood a chance."

The woman said, "What do you mean? I am going to shoot you right now." John smirked as he walked towards the woman, the woman shot at John, but he pulled his sword in a reverse grip. John sliced the bullet in half, the woman was completely shocked, and she kept shooting, until her clip was empty and even then, she kept pulling the trigger.

John had sliced every bullet and continued walking towards the woman, the woman was now standing against the wall with fear clear on her face. John smiled and said once again, "You never stood a chance." John then swiped his blade across the woman's neck, decapitating her instantly.

John then walked out of the room through the door on the opposite side of the room arriving in an Armory. John took every weapon in there and put it in Eden. John then walked out of there and found himself outside once again. John looked at his Map and saw that only 15 people were left alive, they were trying to escape. John ran towards them and saw they had run out the other side on foot.

John aimed carefully and shot each of them in both of their legs, John then walked back to the compound and walked over to one of the clusters of blue that was away from the rest. John opened the shipping container and a man tried to grab him, but John kicked him back. The man fell to the floor but then got up and ran out of the container. John watched as the man just ran up to a walker and started a conversation.

It was a quick conversation though, because the walker quickly bit his throat causing him to scream before he was swarmed by some other walkers. John then walked through the whole base killing every walker he passed and picking up any guns he found on the ground. John hunted down every walker using his Map, when the last walker fell to the floor, John walked to the front of Terminus and spawned a big flat bed truck.

The truck had dirt and stuff on it to make it look believable. John then walked back to the rest of the blue dots; he saw that they were pacing around in the shipping containers. He took out a big black bag and filled it with weapons before he put it on his shoulder. John walker up to a boxcar that had an "A" on it, John unlocked it and opened it quickly.

A punch came straight at his face, but John caught it with ease. John looked up and saw it was a man wearing camo, he had ginger hair. John looked past him and saw that there were 2 females, a boy, and a wimpy looking man. John let go of the fist as he dodged another, then a kick. Getting annoyed John pulled his desert eagle out and pointed it at them.

John said, "Stop, now!" The ginger stopped and covered the wimpy man. John then said, "I'm here to save you."

The ginger said, "Why?"

John joked, "I'm a good Samaritan." John then walked off as the ginger looked at him cautiously. John walked over to 3 more boxcars, named "B, C, and D" John backed up and watched as the people climbed out of their confinement.
