The Walking Dead, Jack's Adventure

When I woke up I was in a hospital bed. I got up and went to the small bathroom in the hospital room. When I was inside, I looked in the mirror and saw myself from the Marvel world, so I quickly changed my appearance. After, I looked at the mirror again and saw, a six foot, 28 year old, white man with dense lean muscle and scars of bullet and knife wounds on only my body except for a scar going up and down my left eye and to the top of my cheek, short bright red hair slick back with the sides faded, and a green right eye and a white left eye with no vision, so I kept my left eye closed, in a white patient's gown. I turned off my regenerration power and limited my physical stats to 100. Then I went back to the bed and sat down.

The System said to me, "Jack you have an unopened starter pack for this world, would you like to open it". I said, "Yes my friend", then a Colt M1911 with a suppresser and a black combat knife appeared on the bed beside me with a loose black long sleeve shirt, dark green cargo pants, and boxers folded underneath. Next to that was a straight katana with wooden handle and sheath, with no hilt. There was a chinese dragon burned into the wood, I named it Yami. There were also a pair of socks and black boots.

Then I put on the clothes, I put the the knife on my belt, on the left side, I put the straight katana in my inventory, the Colt also going in there it would be weird if I had a gun when I just woke up today. In my pockets I found 7 extra clips for my pistol and some bandages. After gearing up I heard movement in the hallway, I went to check it out and saw a pale white man, 5'10, short black hair and blue eyes. I walked over to him and said, "Hi, I'm Jack. Do you know what's going on, I just woke up today". He said, "Hi Jack, I'm Rick and I also just woke up today, so I don't know what's going on". I said, "We should probably stick together and find somewhere safe". Rick said, "Okay let's stick together, we should go to my house, it's nearby".

Then we exited the hospital together and once outside we saw hundreds of dead body's on the floor. We walked through, then went up a hill and saw many military vehicles, even a broken military helicopter. After that I followed Rick to his house. Once we arrived and went inside, Rick called out, "Lori, Carl". Then he walked around the house and noticed some clothes missing and some photo albums. He then went to his room got dressed in his police uniform and a revolver in a holster on the right side of his waist. Then we went outside and sat on the stairs on the walkway leading to the house.

Then we saw a man walking down the street, so I got up and walked over to him. On the way I heard a yell, "daddy, daddy". Then before I reached him a black man with black hair and brown eyes shot him in the head. I put on a surprised look and said to him, "Why did you shoot that man". He ignored me and ran over to where Rick was, when I looked over I saw Rick on the ground and a 14 year old black kid standing over him.

Then I walked over and picked Rick up, while the black man went over to, what I believe to be, his son. Then I carried Rick into a bedroom, then went to the living room and sat on the couch. I was followed in by the black man and his son, then he locked and boarded up the door and put blankets over the windows. Then I asked, "What are you doing and why did you shoot that man?", he said, "I'm doing this so they can't come in and can't see us. Also that wasn't a man, it was a walker. If you had gotten any closer to it, it would have tried to bite you, take a chunk out of you, or at least scratch you. Then after a while, you will get a fever, then die and come back as a walker". I said, "So that walker would have tried to eat me, damn, that's fucked up, Oh sorry kid".

Then after a while when it was dark Rick came out of the bedroom, into the living and saw us eating baked beans. I said, "Oh Rick you finally woke up, come eat, these are our new friends, Morgan and Dwayne". Then Rick sat down and started eating while I explained to him about walkers, which freaked him out but he calmed down quickly. Then Rick asked Morgan, "Is there any refugee camp nearby?", he then replied, "There is one in Atlanta, it's the closest". Rick said, "That's where I'm going, my family must be there. Where are you going Jack?". I said, "I don't have any family, so I guess I will help you find your family".

After we finished eating we turned off the light and slept in different areas with one eye open, watching the others. The night went smoothly except a car alarm went off down the street.
