15 Chapter 4

Watching horror movies on a TV screen is sooo different from actually witnessing one.

I slowly approach the person lying there. It looks like a lifeless body to me but I'm really expecting some breaths left in the body. Please God!

The body lying there looks very familiar to me. It is lying in a pool of blood. There is a stone lying next to the body, probably used to hit on the head. The face is disfigured due to the smashing of stone on the head. But the clothes look very familiar.

Maybe I can recognise the person if I go a little near to the body. So I go close to it & kneel next to the body. The clothes are torn at every possible places. Blood oozing out from every possible wound. Teeth marks all over the body like someone just wanted to bite away all the beauty she had.

Yes! It's is a girl, brutally raped. Her half naked body telling very much of what has happened in here. It's strange that there were 2 rapes happening on the same day in this forest. Oh wait! This one actually looks fresh. The bites still pink, the wounds still wet from blood and the wound on head still fresh.

I really don't know, it's confusing now. But, could no one stop this? It's fate I feel. Seeing this person's state, I feel sorry for her. No one could save her. The devils took away her breath too. But, I'm thankful to God for saving me at the earliest possible time.

I had enough time to run away from that dreadful spot. Now, the only thing I want is to reach home to my mom and dad before the devils come in search of me.

But, before I go I'd like to see whose this body belongs to. If the face isn't mutilated much by the stone, I can atleast remember what she looks like and tell the police the same. I'd atleast be able to help the police find this body / whatever little justice I can give to her soul, whatever justice is defined by the law for her.

I set to turn the body to face me so that I can see who this is.
