19 Chapter 1

A cup of coffee is all I need to energize my cells & work early mornings. I have been waiting for a phone call. It should have been reached me by now. But, I don't know what's causing the delay.

My duty starts at 7:00 in the morning, but today I reached my work place an hour early itself. I haven't slept for a long time and yesterday was even worst.

I'm in my usual black formals & black jacket, high hair bun, light makeup to cover my nervousness & ofcourse my badge 'Ms. Leila, Detective, Lonetown Police Dept.'

I have been working in the police department for almost 2 years now. My duty is to reach crime spots & collect evidences & try to solve the cases.

(The telephone rings....)

And yes! The phone on my desk rings. It should be probably from the initial responding officer regarding a crime or something. I mean, I don't always hope there is a crime in the city. But I have been called early to my work and now the phone rings, should be about a crime scene.

I answer the call. Mr. David, the initial responding officer has found a body in #23 RoseWood Appartments. I have to reach the spot and investigate the crime scene for more details.
