Training Day

He looked at the time on his watch and to say the least he wasn't late nor wasn't too early, he was just right on time which is good for his second day. He looked around to see people running for their training and to this made him smile since he remembers the time when Lilian made him train to fight and to make his physical attributes better.

"See these puny people like how can they be this weak?" he heard a voice said and two people started laughing it can be heard from behind. As these people began walking to the door, they intentionally bumped to Araza and left without caring or apologizing until they looked back at him. Araza's eyes were lifeless and looked at the three guys.

He walks forward to where they are and finally stopped in front of them.

"So are we finally gonna get some action here, Little Araza?" asked the creature living inside Araza known as Vaduu.

He doesn't respond to the question until he just dashed and punched the guy's stomach and made the guy vomit blood. His punch was not full force but he didn't held back too which made him fall to the floor holding his stomach while glaring at him.

His friends suddenly got scared and helped their fallen leader to stand up. Araza walked away still has those lifeless eyes and didn't say a single word to them.

As the training starts all of them were aligned in one long line, the captain of Commander Aryama. He will be responsible as their instructor for this year. Some of them were talking like they don't care about anything at all until the Captain gave them both a headbutt which made both of the men's heads bleed. He glared at them and it was as if both men saw a ghost.. NO a monster.

Soldiers then gets both men and dragged them to the Medical Clinic where they will treat the wounds that they now have.

"So you're the new rookies?! Or are these some pathetic FUCKING losers who'll just waste our time and die in the hands of those CREATURES?!" he asked loudly and everyone was standing still and tried not to react on his statement since they were just ordered to stand still and not look onto the others if they want to survive the test.

"First, you'll be calling me, Sir Joseph, not captain nor just Joseph because who the fuck are you guys to call me by my first name?!" he shouted to them and all of them replied "YES SIR!" he looked at them and walked around to see if anyone else is not cooperating.

He sees someone shaking and fear hinted in his eyes so he smirks and walks in front of the trainee.

"WHAT'S YOUR NAME, YOU YELLOW LITTLE SHIT?!" Joseph spat and the trainee replied "AHHH RO-ROBINS-SON, SIR!" And he made him repeat the lad until he was satisfied with the way he interrogated the guy.

On the third floor of the building, V was there checking on all of them, still training it seems, one by one being interrogated by Aryama's captain. He can see that they were trying there best not to breakdown nor just laugh at the one being interviewed, he remembers the old days when he was just a rookie 8 Years Ago... The good old days but of course he was already good before becoming the top Elite of the Association.

"Ah V, I see you're early." someone behind him said.

He looked behind him to see his old mentor "Ratsuja" one of the oldest slayers who ever lived, there they sat in front of each other and started to catch to one another for they haven't seen each other for a long time but of course they had to stop the small chit-chat and must get down to business. V opened his laptop and typed something in it.

"There was an attack in City #A which happened three days ago along the river of Harabam, and we suspect that something was already hiding from below ever since there were some reports about the kidnapping of children and murders on the adults. Typical of a Voidling, Don't you think?" V said with his lifeless eyes glowing red but Ratsuja was then seeing the info on the attack.

"Yes. It is indeed scary to think that underneath the earth's surface there are some of those creatures hiding and waiting in plain sight to attack the inner cities." He said to V without breaking an eye contact. V breaks the eye contact and then stared at the bottom of the table to see his pen on the floor. As he picks up the pen, he suddenly remembered something important.

"The point of the attack is that these creatures knew exactly when to strike til midnight but then again knowing them, they would eat anyone in sight." V thought to himself as if something was off on these attacks lately like there was some kind of a pattern but he still can't think of a clever solution to what pattern it may be. As Ratsuja listened, he stood up and smiled at V.

"You've really grown so much that I miss you being my best student in class." he said hugging the man and V returned the hug. Breaking up the hug Ratsuja walked to the door and left leaving V alone in the room. As he walked to the window, he saw some trainees doing push ups and some just standing there watching others suffer the consequence. He smiled and then walked back to his table to where he works.

3 Hours later...

Araza was now in the cafeteria sitting with his bestfriend Lilian and there it started some people to whisper and glare at the man due to him sitting beside a beautiful girl which he didn't really care what other people think because he doesn't really give a shit about them. They began eating their food as so the others finally stopping the whispers and then suddenly something happened.

"Are you Araza Matsuva?" asked the soldier while Araza was pretty clueless of what's happening he still nods.

"Sir, you're instructed to come with me to the office of the Elites for discussing an important matter." the soldier walked away while Araza was still confused on why he's needed by them. He looked at Lilian and finally nods to her. He stood up to his seat and walked behind the soldier but something was off... He doesn't know why he was needed by the "Elites" since they never knew each other. Yes, he was punched but that's because of her ego.

"I have a bad feeling about this. Stay on guard my senses are tingling" Vaduu said to Araza while Araza nods mentally at his Void-Partner. As he notices that there's no one around something is really off about this but then he still continued to follow him until the soldier stopped.

"Hey why did we stop?" asked Araza.

The soldier didn't answer the man instead she turns around and smirks. The soldier brings out her special Holy Sword and attempted to stab Araza but he dodges the attack, tumbled to the side and rolls to the ground repeatedly as he was being attacked using some sort of a range weapon.

"Who are you?!" shouted Araza.

The soldier smirks and held his helmet then removes it.

Araza's eyes widened in shock.
