The Gold Dragon Class

Wang Lin followed Wang Qing to the class, he saw a class of 3 other people who looked over at the silver-haired Wang Lin. The teacher at the front of the class also looked at Wang Lin and announced "This is our new student, Wang Lin, he was tested to have max talent in cultivation so he has been put into the Gold Dragon Class.

Some other students gasped when they heard this, a rank 10 talent? Has anyone else ever reported to have such high talent?

The teacher then said, "Wang Lin, my name is Zi Hui. Everyone introduces yourselves, starting with you."

Teacher Hui pointed at a boy on the right side of the classroom, he stood up and proudly spoke: "My name is Lai Bo, from the Lai Renegade Corporation, Rank 9 Talent at Qi Condensation Stage 3."

A girl to his left then stood up and said: "My name is Zi Ru, rank 7 talent and at Qi Condensation Stage 1, from the Zi Clan Corporation."

The other girl to the left of Zi Ru stood up and spoke: "I am Du Lie from the Du Merchant Association, Rank 7 Talent at Body Refinement Stage 9."

Wang Lin then spoke, "My name is Wang Lin, I am Wang Qing's sister, I have recently left a mountain range where I have been training with my master, Master Yang since, Rank 10 talent at Qi Condensation Stage 5."

Lai Bo and asked a little suspiciously and envy in his tone, "So what happened to this master of yours, did he feed you herbs till you reach Qi Condensation?"

Wang Lin smiled but didn't answer, he didn't have to deal with this weak spoiled brat. He has faced many of them in his previous life who have been jealous of his talent. He turned his direction to the teacher and asked "Teacher Hui, I do not mean to be rude but how are people selected to be teachers in this new world?"

Seeing Wang Lin ignore him, Lai Bo's proud demeanor lowered and anger clouded his face, just because of this kid having level 10 talent he thinks he is the best, can he fight against tanks or missiles. How can someone with no background be so arrogant against the young master of the Lai Renegade Corporation?

Teacher Hui responded "Well, I was selected partly due to my rank 8 talent in cultivation and my family, but 5 years ago I had perfect scores in college and I was a martial artist with decent skill so when I graduated and the world changed, the new government contacted me giving me the position as a teacher here, 3 years ago I was a Bronze Dragon Class Teacher, 2 years ago I was a Silver Dragon Class Teacher, and last year I became a Gold Dragon Class Teacher. Teacher ranks are chosen by cultivation level and talent rank, I am currently at Qi Condensation Stage 6 which is decent, right now you are a Year 1 student and Year 2 students are Foundation Establishment and up, we only have 4 years 2 students who have ties to a disciple of an Ancient Cultivator."

Wang Lin could now see how rare Qi Condensation cultivators are in this world, so right now he didn't have any match since he was a Divine Condensation Expert and he could beat Foundation Establishment cultivators. The only people he wasn't confident beating are these so-called "Ancient Cultivators".

Teacher Hui spoke breaking Wang Lin's train of thought "Anyone who reaches Martial Apostle Realm and passes their trials is allowed to join the Earthly Cultivation Sect, anyone in the sect has a status above the entire nation."

Wang Lin was surprised, and asked: "There are already people in Martial Apostle realm?"

Teacher Hui answered "Yes, those disciples from the Ancient Cultivators and those who have ties with the Ancient Cultivators have reached Martial Apostle realm, the highest realm a normal civilian has reached is Foundation Establishment, the government has said that once 35% of the population has reached Foundation Establishment realm they will release the method to become a Martial Apostle."

Wang Lin was confused and thought to himself "So the way to join the sect is to become a Martial Apostle but they haven't released the method? The way to become a Martial Apostle is after you reach Peak Foundation Establishment and your Qi has settled in your Dantain, you have to drive your Qi and open up your meridians, 10 meridians are stage 1 Martial Apostle, 20 meridians are stage 2 Martial Apostle, 30 are stage 3 Martial Apostle and so on till you reach 100 meridians. The reason Divine techniques are so widely sought in my previous world is that the Qi in your body is purer and when you open up your meridians it is wider and you open 20 instead of 10 meaning when you are stage 1 Divine Apostle with 20 meridians and when you reach peak Divine Apostle you have 200 Meridians instead of a Peak Martial Apostle's 100 meridians."

Teacher Hui spoke, "Okay that is enough introductions and questions lets go outside and start our Martial Arts Training, Wang Lin where this badge and it will identify what class you belong to."

Teacher Hui handed Wang Lin a badge with a gold dragon and the words "Wind Waker Student" on it.

Teacher Hui led the students to a courtyard right outside the classroom, there were other classes already outside, some had bronze badges and some had silver badges, but no one else had a gold badge.

A lot of students started whispering when they saw the Gold Dragon Class,

"Look its the Gold Dragon Class, wait who's the kid with the silver hair?"

The whispers continued until the teachers reprimanded their students and they all went back to doing drills.

Wang Lin and Lai Bo walked into the Boys locker room and the girls walked into the girl's locker room. Wang Lin walked to his locker and placed his badge on the wireless lock opener. He found a set of training clothing already in the locked, and it fit him. Wang Lin was about to leave the locker room when he saw Lai Bo and a group of Body Refinement cultivators block the entrance.

Lai Bo shouted confidently "Wang Lin, bow down to me or I will force you to."

Wang Lin smacked his head "Not this again..."
