10 Grandpa?

Wang Lin stood up and followed Ambassador Lee, Wang Lin saw a car outside with the Earthly Cultivation Sect Symbol and climbed into the passenger seat of the car.

Ambassador Lee climbed into the driver seat and they started their journey to the sect examination center. Ambassador Lee looked over at the 14-year-old boy who is somehow a Martial Apostle at such a young age and he couldn't help but ask "Do you train in any different methods that your "master" taught you?"

Wang Lin shook his head and said: "No, my master gave me a basic Qi Cultivation Technique very similar to the Earthly Cultivation Technique."

Wang Lin was ready for most of the questions he predicted people would ask, he couldn't stop others finding out in the long run but he could allow himself time to grow stronger now.

Ambassador Lee was suspicious but decided to give it up as he didn't sense any abnormalities in Wang Lin's aura.

After a 5 hour drive, they reached a huge mountain range that looked empty. Wang Lin secretly activated his Void Eyes and saw behind these huge mountains was an entire sect. Wang Lin felt a weird as this sect looked like the sects back on the Azure Wind Planet and was even more sure knew this world was completely different than the one he knew 500 years ago. Even if the cities look the same and the people act the same, the aura of a mortal world is more friendly than a cultivation world.

Ambassador Lee led Wang Lin to a secret gate hidden in the forest of trees that leads to the sect. After walking through the gates of the mountain onto that a pathway, they reached the end where Wang Lin saw a sight that shocked him "Grandpa?"

Right outside the sect gates, he saw his grandpa, Wang Fang, who everyone assumed was dead stood right in front of him. Wang Fang smiled, what he saw was the small boy who trained martial arts with him every day. Wang Lin ran up to his Granda Fang and said "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! You left Wang Qing all alone for 5 years since Mom and Dad have died. Why haven't you brought her here she has talent in cultivation as well."

Wang Lin was glad to see his grandpa but was seriously pissed, his grandpa has been here the entire time and yet he hasn't contacted her even once during this whole event. Wang Lin was lucky that Wang Qing didn't lose hope during the 5 years.

Wang Fang was happy about seeing his grandson alive, well, and powerful at cultivation but when he heard Wang Lin's first words his face scrunched a little, but surprisingly Grandpa Fang didn't retaliate and just looked down at the floor.

Seeing the tense family feud going on Ambassador Lee tried to release the tension "Wang Lin calm down, Elder Fang will tell you everything lets go inside and get you examined."

Wang Lin followed Ambassador Lee and Grandpa Fang followed behind still silent.

After another 2 minute walk, Ambassador Lee led Wang Lin to a building. Wang Lin was told to wait in the waiting room, after 5 minutes Wang Lin was then led to a room in the back that looked like a police interrogation room. But instead of the interrogation being done by the police, it was by a sect elder.

Seeing everything was in place the Sect Elder started "Hello Wang Lin, I am Elder Tu and I will be the one giving the examination, place your hand on the stone in front of you so we can start."

Wang Lin saw the stone on the table, Wang Lin recognized that this was a truth-seeking stone which forces anyone who places their hands on it to only tell the truth. Only people in the Martial Spirit Realm and above can suppress the effects of the stone.

Wang Lin knew he had no other choice and placed his hand on the stone. Wang Lin felt an aura invade his body and realized he could make the aura flow into his eye dimension so it didn't affect his body. Wang Lin stored the stone's aura inside his eye dimension but to the elder nothing was out of the ordinary.

Elder Tu saw the stone work and said "Lets start with the first question..."
