Going to the City

Shen Long walked into the refugee camp and it was filled with loud talking, most of the people talked about their gains from their 500 years of being on "God's" Planet or even people who started absorbing the mana in the atmosphere. Shen Long was approached by one of the refugee camp workers who asked "I remember you, you are the survivor from the village why is your hair white and eyes silver. Did you gain any treasures from the time in the other world?"

Shen Long silently shook his head side to side and left the conversation leaving the worker scratching his head. Shen Long knew that the person was trying to see if Shen Long had any secrets or treasures he could steal.

Shen Long learned from eavesdropping on the conversations around the camp that all of humanity was sent to another world where they were given the Heaven's Will which gave them a certain power based on some sort of Destiny Aura. If someone had lots of Destiny Aura, the Heaven's Will they received would be greater than a person with a smaller Destiny Aura.

Shen Long also learned that everyone learned how to control mana which was the weird stuff Shen Long felt in the particles around him. Shen Long was different, not only because he received the Void's Will but he used Origin Energy instead of mana. He wasn't sure what the difference between the two was but he knew something was off about this "God" due to the way the voice in the void talked about it, or maybe the void was the one that was weird.

Even though Shen Long was only 12 years old before he spent 500 years alone, he was already very mature mainly due to the situation of his village being slaughtered and the need to mature quickly and reach the refugee camp. Shen Long was actually very smart and when he comprehended the techniques in the void his speed was shocking.

Shen Long walked to his tent and sat down, this entire time his body was absorbing all the Origin Energy around him and so he wanted to establish his power as fast as possible so he didn't have to face the situation he faced in his village where everyone he knew and loved was killed.

One of the tricks he learned in the void with his soul was what he called Spirit Sense where he could scan the surroundings with his Soul Energy and sense everything around him. He could even use Spirit Sense to scan knowledge and copy it into his head without reading it. Shen Long started the Divine Void Origin Technique and felt the Origin Energy surrounding him like crumbs of food to a vacuum.

The origin energy started moving into the 5 Void Elemental Orb and his Elemental Eyes reinvigorating them with new energy. His Void Elemental Physique started to expand and the elemental essences started to surge around him with new life. He then also activated the Divine Void Soul Technique and his soul started to expand as well.

After a few hours, he started to feel tired and fell into a deep sleep for the rest of the night. The next morning he woke up and found that everyone was picking up their stuff so when he asked around he learned that they were getting relocated near Qinghai City. He also heard that the university was being reformed into a training center for people who were between 10 and 18 years old, before the 500 years in another world, to train their Heaven's Will.

Adults in the other world were given specific training by the "Angels of God" so their power increased faster but their foundations were weaker. Children didn't train in any technique but their foundation was much stronger than the adults meaning they would be more powerful in the future. The other reason adults risked their foundations is that they needed to have the power to fight the invaders while the children grew up becoming more powerful than them.

The governments started reforming immediately and infrastructure started getting back up. The best news Shen Long heard was that many soldiers in the army had high Destiny Aura's and gained a lot of power. They were able to beat back the invaders and fighting already started to retake to land stolen by them.

Everyone climbed onto the busses that were sent to them and they were driven to Qinghai city. Since Shen Long was 12 years old he was taken to a Student Dorm next to the previous, Qinghai University, and was put into an empty room, a room used for children who were going to test into the new Tian Ji Academy.

All of this happened within a span of a week, as the monsters were pushed back, technology advanced even further due to mana, and humanity flourished. But in the shadows was a threat that was even greater than these small fry invaders that the humans were so proud of getting rid off.

Shen Long was laying down on the bed resting from the long journey on the bus when he heard 2 people laughing outside the door and walked into the room.

They were 1 girl and 1 boy, Shen Long and the 3 stared at each other before the girl broke the awkward situation "Hello, I am Zhao Xia and this is my... friend... Zhan Yi. Your hair and eyes are very interesting, could you tell us which Heaven's Will you got?"

Zhan Yi looked at Zhao Xia annoyingly before grabbing her and said while tickling her "Friend? You mean fiancee, why are you hiding it?"

She started laughing and pushed his arms away. Shen Long just coldly stared at the two and went back to resting on the bed. Zhao Xia just shrugged her shoulders but Zhan Yi was a little annoyed "What is that supposed to me, are you not going to say your name after she painstakingly took the time to tell you our names. Your probably one of those kids that think they are cool after their parents died."

Zhao Xia tried to tell Zhan Yi to stop but that made him even more violent, saying some even more vicious stuff. Zhan Yi tried to grab Shen Long's collar but suddenly Shen Long's right eyes opened which was the eye that controlled the Void Soul Element. Zhan Yi felt a huge pressure press on his soul and he collapsed to the ground. It was like a giant hand pressed down on his body, crushing him.

Zhao Xia secretly liked when Zhan Yi became violent to people who disrespect her and Zhan Yi knew that. But she never expected that Zhan Yi would suddenly fall to the ground to a nobody like the kid in front of them. She then looked at Shen Long who was looking at Zhan Yi but his right eye which was previously silver had a black aura exuding from it. Zhao Yi became terrified and she shouted: "He is sorry, please let him go we will never bother you again."

Shen Long deactivated his eye, he then waved towards the door and closed his eyes. Zhao Xia picked up the sweaty Zhan Yi from the ground and carried him to the door, but while they exited Zhan Yi gave a malicious stare.
