Seperation
Moss is growing in the crevices of the eight-story building. To be honest, I'm surprised this building is still standing, it looks like it's going to fall any minute, "I'll take point," I say as I walk towards the front. "Don't let your guard down, the vampires will not take it easy on you. Don't hesitate, they will take that chance to try and kill you. And most importantly, have each other's backs." I finish. Idris, Atreyu, and Aeryn. The only ones that look like they're taking me seriously are Astrid and Amelia.
There's a gravel walkway to the building that is gated off on both sides. It would be bad if we got caught in a fight here, we don't have much room to fight, I wouldn't be able to rely on Yamata because of the radius of the fire.
We reach the door to the building, I can feel the nervousness of everyone, hell, even myself am feeling a bit nervous. "Alright, let's get this done. Odds are, they're going to rush us. Henry, I want you to use your fire to keep them at bay. Atreyu, use your lightning and strike them when Henry uses his fire. Aeryn, summon all the knights you can. Astrid, blind the vampires, that will give Idris the chance to tie them down with your whip."
It's a solid plan, it's just a question if they can pull it off. The last time I saw them fight, they weren't able to kill six vampires. I guess I'll just have to do the heavy lifting. I slowly open the door and we flood into the building. We're all greeted by a hanging body, the sight is horrific. He's hung by the neck, it also looks like they gutted him to. The smell is nothing great either, I'd say he's been like this for three weeks.
I end up stifling a cough. "This is why we're here, to stop atrocious acts like this from happening again," Amelia speaks up. I see her eyes watering up. "Why don't we move on?" I say not wanting to bear the aroma any longer. They all nod and turn towards the door across the room. I slowly open the door and we're greeted by a big open room. I look up to see a walkway, something moved up there. "Hey, get back, I saw something move up there," I say pointing at the walkway.
"Well boys, this is certainly a surprise. I knew someone was going to be coming here, just didn't know it was going to be a full squad," I look ahead, and to my surprise, I see a lonely vampire standing in the middle of the room. "It's a shame we're all full. Blow it!" As if they practiced this someone threw a device towards the vampire in the middle of the room. "Man, I'm sure you guys would've tasted wonderful."
Explosions. "Get out of this building now!" Bang! I feel myself in the air flying towards the vampire. He catches me by the neck, "Oh, look at this, we got a hero. I suppose we can have some fun with him," He says while slamming me against a wall. I'm still in his grasps, I'm not going to be able to get out. He knees me in the gut, which takes all the air out of my lungs. He raises his fist, and I'm met with a world full of hurt. He continues beating me, punch after punch after punch. He raises his fist one time and I see my blood falling off his fist. He lets his fist connect with my jaw. And the world went black.

"Henry, at this rate you're going to die. Why don't you let me take over for a bit?" I look up to see a person with no nose. I'd say he's about 5'11, brown hair, green eyes. "Who the hell are you?" I say while getting up.
"You don't even know your own 'demon', I'm hurt. Anyways, It's me, Yamata. I'm just in my human form. Now let me take control, Henry, let me kill these vampires."
"No, if I let you take control I'll turn into a monster," I say stumbling up.
"This is why I don't like humans, they're all stupid. One, I'm not a demon, I'm a dragon. Two, I would only be able to take control for ten minutes, that would be long enough for me to kill any vampire. Three, you would be transformed into a half breed dragon, It would only last as long as I'm in control."
"No, how do I know you're not lying?"
"Forget it, Henry, you're about to wake up." He snaps his fingers and he disappears.
