1 The Beginning

This morning when Declan woke up it was bright and sunny, peaceful even, but all of that was going to change soon. His day started like any other, waking up going to school but today there was going to be a deviation from his daily routine.

He woke up and got dressed, went downstairs made breakfast as usual, but as he ate his breakfast and drank his coffee he felt a strange inkling to watch TV and what he saw shocked him.

........News Anchor Jessica........

"Breaking news there is a virus has been detected it is very dangerous and extremely lethal."

"Let's look at the president's report...."

" Attention all US citizens there has been a virus detected, and this strand of the virus is incredibly dangerous this will become a global pandemic of unpredictable proportions. All civilians are to stay inside,and leave their house for no reason until further notice. This virus has killed over 1 million people already, it is spreading incredibly fast, stay indoors and stay safe."

He immediately turned off his TV and realized what he just discovered, that there was a global pandemic that was now affecting the world.

With that wonderful news he said "FML." and went back to bed.

He slept deeply and peacefully in this rest was the best one he would have for a long time....

After an undetermined amount of time he woke up, but this time he felt strange, he felt thirsty, he felt powerful, he felt almost inhuman.
