Husband~

Before anyone could utter a single word, Abigail's eyes blazed with fire as she dashed toward the receptionist's desk and pulled the phone, throwing it to the ground. She even made sure to stomp on it a few times to make sure it couldn't be repaired.

A few minutes later, the security guards hurried into the lobby only to find the lady destroying the phone. The head guard's eyes widened as he yelled, "Stop right there!"

Abigail turned her head and glared at the guard in anger. She threw the computer to the ground before hurrying away as a few guards rushed after her.

She made sure to throw a few cases to the ground, break the television screen, destroy a few couches, and even stomped on a few flowerbeds placed by the window. By the time the guards finally caught up to her, she had already destroyed half the lobby.

Why was she so fast, you ask? Because she excelled in escaping from the guards of her mental asylum. If not for the fact that they were all martial artists, Abigail wouldn't have been caught the moment she ran. Compared to them, the guards at Harrison Entertainment were slightly slower.

Abigail struggled hard as the guards held her from both sides. She was about to yell when a familiar voice snapped her attention.

"Guards, let her enter. The boss wants to meet her. "

Abigail's attention quickly shifted toward the VIP elevator section. A familiar man… no, scratch that, a familiar eye candy stood there, looking at her coldly. Her eyes lit up as she quickly said, "Thank God you're here! These people were torturing me!"

William felt the corner of his mouth twitching. This woman… Why did it feel like she was acting familiar with him when it was only a temporary contract marriage? He didn't really see her as Mrs. Harrison, so what was the point of acting familiar?

He didn't say anything as he gestured to her to enter the VIP elevator in front of everyone. His boss was already angry, and if they delayed any longer, his anger might reach the apex. He didn't want his work to double because of that.

The guards also noticed what the assistant wanted. So they dragged Abigail with them toward the elevator door and pushed her inside ruthlessly without even letting her utter a single word.

William also entered the elevator and shut it close. This time, he didn't dare to take the tablet out in front of this time bomb standing right next to him. What if he ended up losing all his data? He would have to do overtime again!

Surprisingly, he noticed the woman standing beside him was silent. He released a sigh of relief as he stood there, wishing her to stay silent throughout the time.

Unknown to him, Abigail wasn't silent for no reason. She constantly looked at her outfit and felt a deep sense of dissatisfaction in her heart.

Ah, how could she be so stupid, ah?! She actually came in her housecoat! She must have looked like a beggar off the street! No wonder the receptionist had such a reaction seeing her!

No, come to think of it, she had created Nicholas such that the man would always be the center of attention. So in a sense, women would be flocking around him at all times. Even though she didn't write much details about him, she knew for sure that women must have entered Harrison Corporation just to take a glimpse of him!

Some of those shameful women must have done something atrocious to the point of angering even the staff members down the lobby!

Abigail's face turned dark as she sneered in her heart.

That person, the eye candy of the entire world full of birds and butterflies, was now her husband. No one had the right to fly around him other than her!

Her fist clenched as a look of determination formed in her eyes.

William, who glanced at her determined expression, felt his brows furrowing.

What the heck was this woman planning now? He silently put up his guard and stood there without speaking a word.

They reached the top floor soon as Abigail's expression transformed from being serious and determined to excited in the blink of an eye. She looked just like a kid who finally left school after a day full of lectures. She couldn't wait to dash outside the door and see her husband for herself.

Even though she knew the man must be angry at her, she didn't care. Right now, she wanted to see him and yell at him for not replying to her messages!

Look what he made her do! She actually walked out in such an outfit in public! How embarrassing!

They soon reached the main office as William knocked on the door. A familiar voice sounded from the inside, cold and detached, "Come in."

Abigail didn't wait for the assistant's words as she pushed open the door and entered. The assistant closed the door shut and walked outside.

He didn't want to face his boss's wrath. He was very welcome to this young woman taking over this burden.

Nicholas had been working on his computer when he heard, "Husband~"

A hint of cringe bubbled up in his chest, climbing to his throat. He swallowed it down and looked up, squinted his eyes at the woman standing in front of him in her housecoat.

She came dressed like that?

He suddenly remembered the messages she had sent earlier as his face turned dark. He finally stood up and walked closer to her.

Abigail, who was watching the man keenly, felt his aura cooling down even more. She backed away as a trace of hesitation filled her eyes and she said, "What…? Haven't you seen a lady walking out of her house in a housecoat?"

"Seen, but," Nicholas walked until the lady hit the wall behind her as he leaned over and said, "I haven't seen someone so bold to actually enter my workplace in such an outfit. This is an entertainment firm. Do you know what it means to come here dressed up like this?"

Abigail shook her head, tilting her head.

"Well then," The corners of Nicholas's mouth ticked up to form a smirk, "I should let you see it yourself."

Nicholas be like: I'll show you hell!

Abigail, sweetly: Okay, husband~
