4 The Wedding Party
The next day the sun was shining brightly again. This flowers wave their heads with morning dew sparkled while the wind blew softly, it bring light and joy to the people who wake up on that beautiful day.
At the hotel xxx, many people were dancing merrily. It was a betrothal feast of the daughter of the Mayor of the city.
A meal had been served and festivities were in full swing. The bride and groom were dancing too smiling at each other, they were full of joy and wanted everyone around them to be happy as well.
When the dancing stopped, the Bride and Groom left the dancing floor and starts giving thanks to their guest.
Mercedes walk to the couple and give her blessing and gift that she brought for them. After giving her greetings she went to the corner bar and sat down to take a sip, while sipping her wine someone came to click her glass.
Seeing the intruder Merce smile and said " I thought you won't came " . Gloria grinning she said " of course where the handsome men was I'll be there " chuckling she pinch Mercedes cheeks.
Mercedes laughed at her taunting, they busy with their own world and decline all the enjoy moment with the other guest they stayed at the corner sipping their drinks.They don't like getting attached with the people so they prefer the corner than the center.
Careen stood up and walked to the dining hall to fetched up some snacks, while she was busy selecting her food, someone tap on her shoulder, turning her she frown but only last for a minute before she compose herself and smile.
" Hey, what a coincidence you're here too, haa I'm glad I met someone I know or I'll be bore to dead can I joined you" Maria beg with pitiful eyes.
Mercedes thoughts in her head 'coincidence or well planned incident' but she still fake a smile and said
" ooh hi!, yes you can join us come this way".
When the bored Gloria saw Mercedes coming back with someone tailing her she look confused, only when she saw the face of the guest did she nodded and make and "oohh" shape lips.
"Hi,! you don't mind if I tag along with you right, I'm all alone I don't have any friend here " Maria look at Gloria and asked.
Gloria smile widely and nodded " no, it's okay the more the merrier "she click her drink with her.
Not long after chatting together the three of them get along well, they change their phone number to connect with each other. They were already planning to have dinner together the next day.
When it's time for them to part ways after the party, they bid goodbye not forgetting to make themselves clear with the dinner date.
After getting on their car Gloria chuckled " who bait whom" and laughing out loud, Mercedes also joined in her laughter.
She said " she was being dumb by a dumber, I pity her " she smirk evilly and laughed coldly.
Gloria felt shiver to her spine, "she thought is she still a human being, I'm not imagine things did I her eyes change color again"
She point to Mercedes eyes and said " your eyes, d-did you -u I -I mean it change colour again".She gulp seeing Mercedes look at her with cold face.
Mercedes turned away and said " don't speak without thoughts, this was your last mistake, remember ".Gloria nodded while shivering in secret.
Mercedes then rest her head on the seats and close her eyes she takes deep breath and said " I. . . . "
