When Edmond reached his room he went straight to his bathroom and have a long shower, in order to ease his mind a bit. After his long shower he went to his dining hall and had his late dinner before going to his study room.
Meanwhile at the elite bar ,Mercedes look at her two friends who were now wasted and super drunk, she shake her head. She called her driver to come and pick them over. Then she called Maria assistance and told her to come pick her boss up.
When Maria assistant came to pick her boss, Mercedes also carried Gloria and left the bar. She didn't dropped Gloria at her apartment but she help her to her own apartment.
Just as she enter her own bedroom after helping Gloria in the guest room, her cell phone suddenly rungs Mercedes got confused who will contact her at this hour, usually no one will ever dare to call her at this time. She got irritated and snapped at the person on the other line.
"You better got a good excused, who ever you are bitched"
The tone on the other line went silent for a minute and speak with a shuttering voice" I.... I.....I'm sor...sorry ma.....maam for disturbing you bu..... but we got some news" .
Mercedes stayed silent for a while and said " what is it?" her tone suddenly changed her aura told cold all of a sudden, and her eyes change colour again.
The person on the other side of the phone shiver without a cold listening to his boss cold tone, he gulp down his silent saliva and said " we got some lead regarding the Z mission you give us , I've sent all the details to your email boss " .
Mercedes hummed and said " don't let anyone noticed your figure ".
" Yes boss " and with that they hang up.
Mercedes sleepiness gone away and shower with hatred surroundings, she checked her email and smirks.
Taking out her laptop she types something on it and smile, waiting for a minute when she got what she wants, she close her laptop and went to sleep with a good spirits.
When morning come, Mercedes continue her routine as usual like nothing unusual happened. But at noon during her meeting with her shareholders, she got a message on her phone and smirks.
Then she suddenly stood up and smile , all the people sitting in the room look at her with a confused gaze some were started to have a silent prayers.
She said " everyone I got something to announce at this time," she look towards her secretary and nod her heads.
When her secretary finish distributed all the files to everyone present in the room.
Mercedes then continue " now will you mine, checking what is inside and present your thoughts and those who noticed something different please kindly get up and leave " smirking she told them like nothing unusual happened.
Just then someone slammed the table and shouted with a cold voice " who do you think you are, to order us, I won't approved your accused ".
Another one continue " yes where is your evidence, I've been in this company all my life, your dad knows me well why would you do this".
The room starts to become chaos with the shouting and bickering of the shareholders.
Mercedes smirks and eye her secretary, just then a video was playing on the big screen in front of f everyone. No one dare to speak anymore and look at thee screen with wide eyes.
Mercedes then said " now those who need to leave please leave before I will invite you myself ".
She left the room without waiting for their breath to release.
All the people inside, stands in their seats without moving they didn't know when she left the room they could only feels cold wind splashing their heads.
