7 Investigation

While Edmond was enjoying his alone time in the bar his cell phone suddenly rang, frowning he pick the call ,his face suddenly turned black he cut off the call and leave the room in a hurry.His driver was already waiting for him he got on the car and told his driver to drive quickly .

When they reached their base, Edmond went quickly inside his office where his men already brought the prisoner for interrogation . Looking at the men pale and scared face Edmond smirk and sat down in front of him.

" Tell me everything whatever you know maybe you can be saved. " Edmond said.

The man look at him and began begging " I swear I don't know anything about what you asked, I'm innocent I don't know that man I haven't heard of that name before this was the first time I heard about it, please spare me ".He began to sob.

Edmond turned towards his men with a cold face. Seeing their boss angry face they steps back shivers in fears, then one of them took out a knife and approach the prisoner, seeing the sharp knife the prisoner trembling in fears he slammed his forehead on the floor and beg his life crying out loud.

One of Edmond men stops him by pulling him up and said " don't try to killed yourself before I enjoy myself, now if you don't mind tell us from the beginning what had happened how come that letters have your name".

The men nodded and began telling his stories, he was only a small vendor at the street and live a hard life with his wife and two children. Then he told them what happened before they caught him.

Edmond look at his eyes and sees his pure eyes which didn't look like a bad guys, he thought maybe there something fishy behind his back. He stop his men from attacking him and said.

"Have you any enemies" .

" Enemies ! "exclaimed the men " I'm not old enough, or important enough to have enemies ".

" Well, perhaps someone is jealous of you" said Edmond, frowning at his innocent life he sigh " your stores attract many customer between your fellow neighbors, your children got a good school to go, while your wife stayed at home doing nothing other than house course, or maybe you have something precious in your house ".

The man look at Edmond with shock eyes and exclaimed" perhaps you are right, but I don't know who could it be".

"well here is the letter accusing you" said one of Edmond men " do you recognised the writing ?"

The man look confused " no I don't know "

"Well now tell me is there any truth in this letter Edmond asked ,his face don't look good .

" There is no truth in it at all. I'll tell you what exactly happened that day".He then explained how he got that letter.

"That day while I was busy serving my customer, one old man dressing Shabbily asked me to take that letter to one of my neighbors, but I don't know that my neighbors already left that house and move out to leave outside, so I thought maybe I'll met him one day and give the letter to him that's why I kept it with me all the time, I don't know that it will brought me to this despair " he sob.

And then he said " that day I was in a. . . "
