The moonlight glimmered on the lawn outside the church, while Aidan stood under the sturdy oak tree, his figure in the dark intently stared at a certain white hair girl outside the lawn who was gazing at the sky with longing, while her white and long hair slightly gleam in the dim moonlight.

She looked so serene, peaceful and completely out of this world that he couldn't take his gazed away from her. He'd seen numerous beautiful women in his life, however they were just women for him to satisfy his needs, in contrast to her for the first time in his life he felt a strange emotions he never felt as his emerald green eyes fixedly gaped at her.

She seem to bring out the feeling of desire in him.

He'd never desire anyone or anything in his life, however now he ascertain he desire her.

There was something unique and special about her that drawn him to her that he couldn't comprehend.

Perhaps, in view if the fact that he was incapable to heard her thoughts, thus further attracted him to her.

Nevertheless, whatever it is, it doesn't matter much since she undoubtedly belong to him.

Yes, she's his fiancée.

Ariana Rarelli is the fiancée he was trying to find since he discovered an unknown engagement was tied to him unknowingly.

He was unlikely to find her to proceed the engagement. In fact, after he discover her, he was trying to annulled the engagement.

"Who's there?" a tense voice can be heard in the silence night and interrupted his musings.

Perhaps, Ariana sense his intense gazed, and instantly turned around and intently gaze at the faint figure under the tree. Though, she couldn't see him since he was in the shadow.

Aidan peer at her tense figure and silently muse to himself whether to show himself to her or not.

However, on second thought he realised he want her to see him. Therefore, he move out from the shadow and sauntered towards her slowly.

While walking towards her, he tried to hear her thoughts, however there's none which fed him a bit on the inside. Since, his ability to hear everyone thoughts could fully grasped their weakness by their innermost thoughts.

Ariana discern a tall male figure draped on a hooded cloak came out from the shadow and walked towards her with his intense stare on her. As the hooded figure approach her, she felt her heart pounding with nervousness. Nonetheless, she stayed still and ascertain whether he's an enemy or a friends.

While he was an inch away from her, she finally recognized him as the person with green eyes with a black mask covering his face, the one she met on the town gate.

She put her hand on her chest and breathe in relief at the sight of him.

"It's you," she uttered in surprised.

She was honestly truly scared, since it was in the middle of the night, moreover she was alone, except her healing ability she had nothing to protect herself from danger.

The church was a bit far from the village, with trees covering it from all side, it feels eerily in the middle of the night.

However, Ariana was too absorbed in her own thought that it had escape her mind.

His deep emerald green eyes gazed at her ocean blue eyes steadily and silently in the dark with only the moonlight glim at her, scrutinizing her like he's trying to uncovered something from her.

"How courageous of you to dare to come out in the middle of the night," he finally uttered coldly.

Yes, she really had to applaud herself for her bravery to be out in the middle of the night, Ariana thought to herself.

"Well, I can't sleep," she sighed and disregarded his impassive tone.

Unfortunately, at this moment she seem to disremember her initial fear and the fact she find him dangerous in their earliest meeting.

At this moment, she was feeling restless about the fact she was unable to sleep. No matter how tired and lethargic she was, she was incapable to fall asleep in a place she feel unsafe. It had been practically a week and a half that she was unable to sleep peacefully.

While in Cara, because of the Count son constant disturbance in the middle of the middle of the night, she was unable to sleep in peace.

And presently, considering there's no place to lied down, and the fact that everything happening are the black witch deed unknown to everyone seem to place a feeling of trepidation in her to which she suffered sleeplessness.

Ariana sighed and then turned her gaze back to the moon, while Aidan scrutinized her thoroughly with his deep dark green eyes in the glimmering moonlight.

They were both quiet and silence for a while, though Ariana could sense his sharp and intense gazed and was about to say something, when Aidan suddenly turned her body into his chest and embrace her. In the fraction of a second, she glimpse a light glint loomed in their direction which completely stunned her.
