Kate watched the rank 7 giant mutated snake that appeared near her with dumbfounded expression. She had just cured three soldiers and walked out because she felt a bit suspicious of these soldiers' injury.

She only suppressed their injuries for the time being.

Her plan was simply to ask Mr. Yuri about them more.

But the moment she walked out, what greeted her was the sight of the rank 7 giant mutated snake standing in front of them.

"Stay back, Kate!" Lucy yelled and warned Kate. She readied her stance and looked at the large rank 7 giant mutated snake in front of her, feeling nervous.

She's only rank 5, one rank lower than Kate and two ranks lower than this rank 7 giant mutated snake. The difference in rank represented their limit to use their abilities and the effect that came with it.
