The Villain’s Repentance

Lara was at rock bottom, feeling like a puppet whose strings had been cut. When she stumbled upon her husband and best friend in a compromising embrace, everything fell into place. The heartbreak stung, but it also ignited a fierce determination within her. Instead of wallowing in despair, fate intervened, giving her a second chance at life—waking her up ten years earlier, just before the chaos began. Armed with wisdom, she promised herself not to repeat the same mistakes. As she stood at the top of the stairs, her gaze fell on Lucas, her once-beloved fiancée. Regret washed over her; she couldn't believe she had almost let him slip away. This time, things would be different.

Chapter 89 - I'm Kiera

"I'm Kiera," she said, stretching her hands out.

"Bella, nice to meet you." She shook the other woman's hand.

"So, Kiera. You have an older child, or are you just here to make your little one start getting used to the environment?" she asked, gesturing to the little boy sleeping in Kiera's arms.

"I have a ten-year-old; oh, there she is in those black pants," she said, pointing out to a girl standing in a domineering manner, watching the other kids play.

Bella's lips twitched when she saw the little girl in not just any tights but rather in leather pants. "Interesting choice of fashion," she smiled at Kiera.

Kiera just shrugged and laughed it off, "She's still adjusting. She was rescued from a trafficking ring, and she only feels comfortable and safe if she's in something like that," Kiera said, gesturing to what the little girl was wearing.

"Arrggghhhh, what's her name ?" Bella asked, trying to move from that conversation.
