Im Against her,why?

a week before the graduation,Lei is busy finalizing her requirements. she barely had enough sleep as she finished other requirements as well. the paid ones actually. tho she was tired,she was happy because her wallet is thick.

"Ey yow Lei-sunbaenim"

she was startled to suddenly hear Jacob's voice across the silent room she's in. she suddenly had the urge to slap his face.

"look at your face HAHAHAHAHA"

"i don't have time for you sh*thead"

"i got company Miss"

she turn around to see Pat walk in with an insulting smile plastered on his face,and he's not alone!his hands are snake on the waist of a girl. Alema Moore! the girl she hated the most. she's entitled as the school's princess. with her family background and wealth,her face like a doll,a slender body,her delicate voice and nice attitude,there's no reason why she's not a princess. not to mention she's got brains too. everyone adore her,well,except for Lei.

"i never expect you to bring trash in here" she said in a very cold tone

"i brought a princess darling" she rolled her eyes at pat. Jacob and Pat were never in good terms ever since and she never knew why. but when it comes in pissing her off,its like their twins,their mind is in sync.

these two knew how she hated Ema but just like her,they never knew why.

"i came here to help you with your requirements. Patrick said--"

"i don't need help from you. i can finish the papers of half of this school's population. you don't have to be here,go home and pamper your self with your parents money"

she didn't need to put on a show. she boldly shows how she hates her,not minding her feelings or anyone around her. she just hate her,that's it.

"uhm...i heard you created Jacob's last piece he used for the district writing competition. i've read and it was wonderful"

she didn't say anything but she continue writing on the last part of her requirement. the whole room felt to a cold silence for the whole minute. Jacob broke that silence.

"Hey Ema,i heard you got an acceptance from the National School. Eyy,you're so smart"

Ema smiled shyly. Jacob notice that Pat's hands are still on Ema's waist.

"are you guys together?"

this was the question that Lei had on her mind the moment she saw them. she didn't stop writing but she slowed down to listen.

"well,not yet but almost there,right princess"

she can't see them but she could feel the cocky smile he's giving to her. this womanizer is indeed playing now with Ema. she rolled her eyes and continue focusing on her work.

"Why are you such on a bad mood?"

she ignored Pat and sit on the teacher's table. it's just the three of them in an empty classroom.

" you're well aware how i hate her presence and you still bring her anyway,and what?you're dating?!"

"almost there Lei" he clarified.

she laugh mockingly. it made Pat a bit annoyed.

"it's the same Pat"

"are you jealous?"

the room fell on a cold silence. afterwards,Lei laugh histerically.

"don't think too high of yourself. im acting this way because it means i have to see her always"

"or maybe you're trying to ignite something that didn't exist" jacob butt in.

"like what?" Lei ask,puzzled in Jacob's word.

"like jealousy?"

"huh?"

Pat clenched his fist and suppress himself from bolting out.

"you need to stop before i destroy your face kid"

His breathing became rapid and his heart accelerated.

"there you go again guys,when will the day come the two of you will talk to one another without threatening each other"

Pat and Jacob stare at each other with immense emotion. both of them are mad. Lei can see an invisible electricity between them.

"are you guys...gay?" Lei's sentence brought them back to their selves. disgust and horror had taken over their emotions. the two complained and even cursed her and she can't help but to laugh. now the air is light. but it still bothers her as to why they act like that when the three of them are altogether.

Pat got a call from Nate. his brother might be alone again.

"what is it?"

He heard Nathan's soft sobs and sniff. the moment he heard him,his heart soften and his eyebrow creased.

"hey little man,why are you crying?"

"nobody's home" he continue sniffing.

"Im coming,turn the tv on and watch some cartoons. there's an ice cream on the fridge,i bought it last night. don't cry ok?c'mon you're a big boy"

"there's a monster on your room Pat"

he smiled at his brother's cuteness. he was scared of the imaginary monster.

"hmm,you sneak in to my room to find pencil do you?that's why it came"

Nate didn't speak. Pat fix his things while on the phone.

"Alright im coming,i'll hang up ok?"

the two were worried for nate too. they insist they go with him but he refused.

"Na,we'll be fine. i have to teach him Math too. it's his vacation so i have to put more effort on him"

"ok then,be careful on your way"

Pat exited and the two of them were left alone. Not so long,they decided to go home.

It was nearly 6 pm when they got out. the sky were a combination of pink,orange and violet. it was beautiful,like someone painted them.

"you know how to paint right?" she asked Jacob who's walking on her side.

" yeah why?"

"can you paint the sky for me?"

Jacob look at her. she was looking uo and Jacob was staring at her. He felt his heart jump out.

"of course"

they fell on an awkward silence. well,for Jacob it was awkward.

"by the way,what's the beef between you and Ema?" he ask to avoid awkwardness. Lei turn her gaze on the road. suddenly,the calmness she felt vanished.

"I just hate her"

Jacob wasn't satisfied of her answer.

"but she's influencial and powerful,what if she decide to crush you?"

"Im still against her"

Jacob didn't talk. he knew that Lei's words were firm and it will never change.

"why do you hate her so much?"

"Because im against her,why?why are you so worked upon this?"

"nothing im just curious"

"tch,you're so nossy"

Whatever the reason is,Lei doesn't have any reason to admit it.
