In response with Jiang Ai Yue's comment, Manager Xing handed her the tablet she was holding. Ai Yue hesitantly accepted it and brushed her hand across the screen. It lit up instantly flashing the news website.

From just a glance, Jiang Ai Yue easily saw the most eye-catching headline that was at the very top among all the news. She didn't even have to click it to know that this must be related to the questions given to her.

"LuChen Group's Chen SyaoRan declaring his territory!"

Jiang Ai Yue tried refreshing the page again to see if there was any glitch or anything but no, she was definitely not hallucinating. She was clearly doubting that the article was something related to Chen SyaoRan's business empire. The article was clearly on the Entertainment news instead of the Business news so she wasn't wrong at this point.

She even saw that the top three topics on the site were Chen SyaoRan, Jiang Ai Yue, and His woman. She got even more confused and nervous. She even got weird vibes from just the headline. Where did the reporters dug this from?

Ai Yue was already expecting some articles regarding her attendance at Li Min Hao's birthday party last night while interlinking arms with Chen SyaoRan during the entrance. Aside from that, the only thing news worthy would be when she got drunk at the party which she clearly had no memory of.

She actually thought that the reporters would get wind of it and she would be scolded by the public today but I guess, they found something more news worthy to publicize instead. Maybe something more happened after she got drunk?

She clicked on the article and read it carefully. Reading it carefully, she got speechless and she felt her ears getting red from embarrassment. Her suspicions was actually right. This was completely different from what SyaoRan had told her.

He never told her that she was on the verge of being molested by a guy when SyaoRan came to her rescue. She felt thankful for him for protecting her when she her guard was completely down at that time.

Reading the article even further, she finally found the main point of the article. Just by reading it, she couldn't stop herself from blushing yet she was also confused.

Written and emphasized here was how Chen SyaoRan declared her as his woman after beating up the molester. She realized this must be why the reporters took this golden opportunity to publicize it without any second thoughts. They must have thought that this was Chen SyaoRan's direct statement revealing their relationship after her previous and numerous denials while explaining that they were just simple childhood friends. But because of last night, she's now hailed as the LuChen Group's Chen SyaoRan's girlfriend.

Finally understanding where all these came from, she put down her tablet to enlighten the people around her.

"Manager Xing, I think the media misunderstood what he said. You very well know that there's nothing going on between SyaoRan and I. Just like I've said before, he's like a family member which is why he must have been pertaining that I was one of his people and all." Jiang Ai Yue calmly explained to her manager and make-up artist but instead, what she got was weird looks like they were listening to a very ridiculous statement.

At this very moment, the manager and the make-up artist was having very similar thoughts.

'Poor SyaoRan-sama. He must be having a hard time declaring his intentions to our very dense Ai Yue.' The make-up artist silently prayed her prayers for him.

'At this rate, Ai Yue won't know that she's already been eaten by the black-bellied wolf.' Manager Xing sent some pity gaze at her young artist.

Jiang Ai Yue felt uncomfortable under their pitiful gazes. She was confused. Did they think she was lying?

The two people just sighed and pitied Chen SyaoRan for liking an idiot like her who don't have any experience with male and female relationships.

"Let's talk about it later. First, think about how you will answer these questions during the interview. If necessary, we'll just have them edit it out, okay?" Manager Xing instructed.

"Okay." Jiang Ai Yue sighed in relief. Thankfully, it wasn't a live interview and there are no audiences this time. It would just be the crew and the interviewer.

The time for the interview arrived and she was now sitting in front of Ling Si Ah, a host and the person who'll be interviewing her. They greeted each other as Ling Si Ah continued by starting to ask her some questions.

She was asked about about her recently aired drama and plans in the near future. Jiang Ai Yue brilliantly answered those questions as Ling Si Ah added some elaborate questions taken from her answers. She was getting more nervous when the question about her relationship with SyaoRan was finally tackled.

"Finally the best part," Ling Si Ah chuckled lightly before continuing. "This isn't the first time that you've been rumored together with the LuChen Group's Mr.Chen SyaoRan. On previous interviews, you've always denied your romantic relationship with him. This time, there are recent news that came Mr.Chen Syaoran's side . It was reported that he declared you as his woman in front of the public last night. Quite a romantic scene indeed. May I ask how do you feel about it? Can we officially call you now as Mr.Chen's girlfriend?"

Jiang Ai Yue could clearly feel the pit dug for her. Ling Si Ah was waiting for her to jump in it and make Ai Yue admit that after all the denials, that she'll be finally confirming she's been dating the prince of LuChen Group.

Jiang Ai Yue laughed for a bit for a start and looked at the camera. "About that, I think the media might have misunderstood Mr.Chen's words. As you all know, Mr.Chen and I grew up together making us almost like family. Last night, there was an unavoidable incident and Mr.Chen just protected me from being harmed. What he said last night could have meant that he's seeing me as one of his people. You know like a younger sister that he must protect. Very much like siblings."

Ling Si Ah kept smiling to me as she listened to my statement.

"So you're denying any romantic relationship with Mr.Chen SyaoRan?" She questioned.

Jiang Ai Yue nodded. "Yes, I'm sorry to disappoint our fans once again but we're not together or anything along those lines."

"Really? But there's also previous reports that you were always seen to be having a dinner for more than once with Mr.Chen SyaoRan recently. May I ask is there some meanings with those dinners?" Another question was thrown at Ai Yue and she felt a headache coming everytime she's answering these type of questions. Questions about relationship the most sensitive. It's always so complicated and quite hard to shut down.

"It was just friendly dinner. Something similar to a family dinner. Like I said, we grew up together so we were used to spending a lot of time with each other. That's why now that even if we're a bit busy, we still try to find time to have a meal and chat. I also go for dinners with my other family members every week too so there's not much difference."

Ling Si Ah nodded her head like she understood what Jiang Ai Yue was trying to say. But still, she never gave up and asked another question.

"So once again you've denied any romantic involvement with him, we knew there's still a large part of your fans who wishes to see you date Mr.Chen SyaoRan. For you, do you think that one day your friendly relationship with him will possibly progress to the next level??"

Jiang Ai Yue blinked at her for while and thought about how she's going to answer it. This was the first time she was questioned if there is a possibility of her friendship with Chen SyaoRan to progress on a more romantic level. She was just thinking about the possibility of Chen SyaoRan having a girlfriend an hour ago and now they were suggesting that if a day will come that 'she' will finally become that girlfriend. She blushed at the thought.

Imagining it, she really actually couldn't see herself as Chen SyaoRan's girlfriend. She couldn't even imagine having any intimate contact with SyaoRan like kissing or holding hands. Just thinking about it, Ai Yue blushed but felt kinda awkward. Chen SyaoRan is like her brother so does that mean it's like committing incest? Oh my god.

Jiang Ai Yue halted her thoughts. Her thoughts are getting all haywire and she was losing focus at the matter at hand. She quickly composed herself and answered.

"For now, rather than romance, I just want to focus more on my career. I'm still 17, I'm still young so a lot of things could still happen in the future. Maybe if I'm already old enough or find somebody I like, that's when I'll think about dating and stuff. But right now, instead of thinking about the progressing to a romantic relationship with Mr.Chen, I'll focus more on my fans and future projects."

This was Jiang Ai Yue's answer. She wasn't denying nor agreeing with possibility of her relationship with Chen SyaoRan developing into something different but rather, she should focus more on building her career. Whatever would happen in the future is out of her hands, she'll just go with the flow of life and just grab the opportunities that's currently being served in front of her. Dating is still too early for her or rather, Ai Yue doubts that her boyfriend would even pass the obstacles called Dad and brothers.

Above all, Chen Syaoran and Jiang Ai Yue still have a lot of time to spend together. She'd rather enjoy the relationship they have right now.
